Nice ice cream shop to try! It's also a cafe with Viet coffee and matcha and some food so that's cool as well! I had their cookies & cream ice cream with hot fudge and brownie bits and it was good. I enjoyed the sweetness of the ice cream. The hot fudge and brownie bits went well together. The toppings did cost $1.50 each so the total came out to around $10 which is a bit pricey. The portioning is alright as well. The service was good. The server was nice and helpful and we were able to try any flavor we were curious about. The ambiance was good. It was nicely organized and decorated. There's a decent amount of seating. However, for an ice cream shop, the cafe is decently formal.

tl;dr - delicious ice cream, sells boba, friendly staff This place recently opened and we've been waiting for a nice warm day to try it. It wasn't busy on a Tuesday afternoon but the staff was super friendly. The ice cream is really good here. My favorite is Cherry Amaretto Chip. But all the flavors I tried so far have been good. They also sell Tra Milk Tea here as well which is a neat surprise. They said they'll be soon carrying a bigger selection of drinks. They also have a selection of cute swag and Asian snacks for sale in the front.

I stopped by Snoqualmie Ice Cream on a sunny weekday afternoon. It's located in a walkable area with plenty of street parking nearby. The shop itself is clean. There aren't any tables inside, so you'll need to take your ice cream to-go. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They have a wide assortment of flavors that you can sample for free. The flavors I tried were okay - some were a little icy. I decided to order the Cookie Monster flavor, but apparently Cascade Mountain Blackberry is also popular. In addition, the spoons bent easily when trying to eat the ice cream. Perhaps they can consider wooden spoons instead. Prices were reasonable and it's in a good location.

I love this place they're so sweet! I love their drinks and I would recommend it. They have ice cream and Vietnamese coffee too. My favorite drink is an Iced Jasmine tea with Sea Salt Cream on top LESS SWEET & Light ice they use high quality ingredients not weird powders so I def love that about this place.

This place is awesome! Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. If you're looking for a sweet treat this is the place to be.

I honestly think they have excellent gelato; by itself, it would have been five stars. I also honestly think their prices are hella expensive. $7.95 for one scoop. $8.95 for the two scoops stack on top of each other in the same small cup. The seasonal lineup included: * Wild-Foraged Berry Slab Pie * Wildflower Honey and Lemon Chess Pie * Peaches and Cream Galette * Gruyère and Tomato Custard Tart * Coconut Cherry Pie and Almond Crust (v) SINGLE SCOOP I ended up choosing the Wild-Foraged Berry Slab Pie. I couldn't pass up the sweet, refreshing berries with chunks of of pie crust folded into salted vanilla ice cream. It was bright, fruity, and not too sweet. A couple people in our group preferred the Peaches and Cream Galette, which was sweet, juicy, and tasted like a fresh summer flavor. I also expected the Gruyère and Tomato Custard Tart to be much funkier and savory, but it was surprisingly subtle. It ended up being one of the more interesting flavors I sampled. Salt & Straw continues to be one of my favorite ice cream chains. I love how creative they are with their flavors. Too bad they're only on the West Coast!

There is also street parking available, but since this Salt & Straw is located in a smaller plaza in Totem Lake, finding a spot can sometimes be a little difficult. I would honestly recommend parking near Trader Joe's or Ross. It may be a bit of a walk, but you'll have a much easier time finding parking. I was really excited to try the Salt & Straw in Kirkland since the locations I was familiar with were in Bellevue and Redmond. I'm super happy that Salt & Straw is expanding because this location is great. The space is much bigger, and I really like how easy the flow is when ordering. The staff were super friendly and quick, and I also love that they have outdoor seating with heaters. Trust me, a lot of people still come here even when it's cold outside, so I really appreciate that they have heaters available. The area itself is perfect for grabbing ice cream on a warm day. There's a kids' play area, lots of stores, a movie theater, and plenty of things to do around the plaza, making it a great place to spend time before or after getting dessert. Salt & Straw is always one of my favorites. My go-to flavor is the Strawberry Coconut Sherbet because it's light, refreshing, and has the perfect flavor. They also have so many unique flavors, including rotating seasonal options, so there's always something new to try. Overall, this is definitely one of my favorite locations, and I absolutely love it.

I chose the strawberry and matcha mix soft serve and then I chose a matcha cream filling. You are also able to add toppings after and I went with a Biscoff topping. The soft serve was not overly sweet and the flavors blended super well. The taiyaki was also nice and crisp and the cream filling was perfect. Our group of five stopped in, after visiting the nearby lavender farm on a Saturday afternoon, with all of us loving it. It was a beautiful afternoon in the Pacific Northwest, and our son-in-law drove us to this shop when my wife's mom suggested we all go for ice cream (her treat). Nobody disagreed (duh). It is located in downtown Woodinville, with non-metered street parking being the norm. Serviced was great and it wasn't too busy, which was a good thing since the unusual flavors required a bit of sampling. My daughter and her husband got a 2 scooper ($8.95). The rest of us shared a flight ($13.95) which is a choice of SIX flavors in a banana split type dish. Quite a few of the offerings are Vegan (relying on pea proteins), and are very serious about eliminating cross contamination (dedicated scoops for these ice creams that are stored in a different freezer). There was outside seating, so their dog was able to sit with us as well. Out of the six flavors chosen (Vegan Soursop Sorbet, Pickle, Vanilla, Espresso Bean, Strawberry Balsamic, Death by Chocolate), I really liked the Espresso and Strawberry. The Pickle was definitely worth trying, and one could clearly taste the diced/minced pickle pieces throughout, and could actually taste the pickle juice squirting out a little bit as you bit into it. It's unusual and a seasonal flavor. After visiting, I learnt that the owner had graduated from the dairy program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which made me happy. Both my wife and I went to school there, and we raised our daughter in the Madison area, with many happy memories of eating both Babcock ice cream from the University Union and the Chocolate Shoppe (which is HQed there). I found it interesting that this store is located so close to the University of Washington, which I've always thought of as the second 'UW', to the primary UW in Wisconsin. But in reality, outside of the old Big Ten country (i.e. the Midwest), it looks like UW is thought of as Washington, with the domain uw.edu belonging to it, as well. Oh well...
