Don't let first impressions fool you Sirena Gelato serves the absolute best gelato in Kirkland! I almost walked right past, which would have been a huge mistake. Their gelato has a distinctive texture and complex flavor profile that sets it apart from anywhere else in the area. The spacious seating makes it perfect for a romantic date night or catching up with friends over dessert. Cynthia provided exceptional customer service - she was warm, knowledgeable, and really enhanced our entire experience. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You'll discover what might become your new favorite dessert spot!

SIRENA GELATO @ KIRKLAND Parking is available at a lot, but will cost you. Free on Sundays or you can park on street! I'd also recommend parking at the QFC underground garage (free with validation). This gelato spot always has a line out the door, and it is always SO GOOD! I really enjoy all the flavors they have, it's always super fresh, delicious, and not super sweet. The staff is kind and great. I really enjoy the place and the ambiance. I always get any of the fruit flavors as it's really delicious!

Our kid's cups of 1/2 Dutch chocolate & pistachio & 1/2 Dutch chocolate & butterfinger

My boyfriend and I wandered over to Serena Gelato after dinner and had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming--they encouraged us to try any flavors we wanted, which made choosing a lot more fun (and a little harder because everything looked so good!). I ended up with a kids cup that was half Butterfinger and half Dutch chocolate--such a great combo. He got pistachio and Dutch chocolate, and we were both really happy with our choices. It totally hit the spot! The portion was definitely on the small side for $6, so $12 for two kids cups felt a little steep--but that's probably just standard pricing in Seattle these days. That said, the case was full of tempting treats--ice cream sandwiches with sprinkles around the edges, dipped bars, and more. Everything looked delicious. We'd definitely go back--especially on a warm evening stroll!

TL;DR: unique flavors, pricey but worth it. They had Pandan and Ube!!! Parking: street side or nearby garage. Atmosphere: your typical ice cream parlor, limited seating. Service: walk in, sample taste, choose, pay. Repeat. (Haha, if only my gut would let me. My heart says yes but the button holding my pants together and dangling for dear life says no) Menu: Gelato names are basically their description in the case. Dairy free options are labeled. Pandan Gelato: I love how this was an option! Very rarely do you get exotic flavors like this from an ice cream shop let alone a gelato shop! It had just the right amount of sweetness with a punch of earthy pandan. Very yummy and hit my asian roots just right. Forest Berry: Wowza this is sweet and tangy. It's a bit too sweet for me but it's very tasty! Cones: Nothing too special or unique, just your average ol' cones you'd get from any other place. I personally would rather spend the extra money and get 2 scoops in a cup instead of one scoop in a cone.

Very smooth galato. Flavor almost has a delay of when it hits you. I got mango and Thai coconut. The Thai coconut is where you taste the delay. So slight disappointment at the begining but then the flavor hits. Would definitely recommend this place.

Small scoop of hazelnut and salted caramel gelato

Pretty nice gelato. Perhaps not the best but I guess it's okay for Seattle standards. I found the hazelnut and salted caramel to be my favorites in this shop. We also tried the affogato. It's at a very nice location too. Grab a scoop and take a nice walk at the Marina Park public beach.

Pretty good spot for a gelato - there aren't very many around here so this place gets a lot of business. They have a good mix of flavors from chocolate to pistachio to berry flavors. I came with my two friends and got the berry and mango scoop. It was plenty for the three of us to share. I'd say that gelato was a little bit sweet but kind of expected good texture though there's street parking nearby and you'll get pretty lucky because this area isn't too busy compared to Seattle. Service was super quick and friendly. I'd say there's gelato is priced the same as a lot of other places overall would come Definitely a shareable dessert for at least two people.

My favorite gelato spot! Once I get a taste of that hazelnut I can't resist - it's so smooth and creamy. I always get the kids size because it's more than enough for a single person.

Perfect place to get a treat on a sunny day, located close to the water with easy parking all around. We've tried different gelato flavors, my favorites are hazelnut, pistachio and chocolate. There was a bit of a line but it moved fast and there is seatings inside and outside.

What doesn't like to get Gelato after lunch?! I always stick with the classic stracciatella, it so simple but so good. Others in the group got the affogato and the pistachio which they also raved about. The service was okay. There was a bit of a line but it moved pretty quickly and we got our stuff pretty fast. There is indoor seating and a couple tables outside. But we opted to sit on the bench that's near the Starbucks on the corner.

    Turkish Coffee in a cone

More like 3.5 stars! The store was busy on a Sunday evening and the line moves at a good pace. I sampled the dark cocoa and turkish coffee before ordering. The dark cocoa didn't taste good and was a miss, and I ended up getting a scoop of the turkish coffee in a cone. It was icy and not too sweet. I didn't like the cone since it tasted like cardboard.

A little piece of Italy in Kirkland! Same creamy consistency that we found on our trip to Italy. Doors open to the outside sidewalk. Great place to come on a date. My favorite are the Dutch chocolate and the strawberry lemonade. Friendly service, sampling encouraged.

This is after I had already eaten some lol

We are both a fan of ice cream so we were excited to find this place. The menu is pretty simple which makes ordering simple too. There are several ways to get your soft serve but we decided to get the soft serve with the upside down taiyaki which was so good! You can choose your soft serve with just one flavor but they offer a mix too. You can also choose what filling the taiyaki has. I chose the strawberry and matcha mix soft serve and then I chose a matcha cream filling. You are also able to add toppings after and I went with a Biscoff topping. The soft serve was not overly sweet and the flavors blended super well. The taiyaki was also nice and crisp and the cream filling was perfect. Overall, one of my favorite desserts I have had in a while. The service was also super fast and super friendly. There were not any seats inside so it makes it hard to eat there but we just enjoyed the ice cream in the car. I am excited to return soon!

The store was very quiet, and the cleanliness could have been better. The service was okay but nothing particularly memorable. The staff wasn't rude, but a friendlier and more welcoming attitude would have improved the visit. On the positive side, the product itself was solid. The ice cream and taiyaki tasted good and were comparable in flavor and quality to other SomiSomi locations I've visited. The food definitely met expectations and was the highlight of the experience.
