Man, I don't know how to describe it but it's again very pleasant. Lastly, it seems like a nice place to study and do work. It's peaceful, with the workers chatting and music playing, it's cozy! I like it! I haven't had the need to do work at a cafe but I think this place would be a good option if you want a new study spot and happen to be in the area. Parking is a little iffy? As you can see in the pic I parked on the side of the road but sometimes the streets will be taken up which leaves you to park in the parking garage right next to the cafe, which unfortunately charges for parking past 15 minutes. If you don't mind paying, or think you can make it back to your car on time, then it's not that big of a deal. Either way, you could probably find another street to park on and walk to the cafe as this district is pretty walkable. Overall, love it!!! I hope the owner and workers continue to thrive with this business, this is certainly a refreshing addition to the coffee scene in the greater Seattle area.

From my most recent visit on a Tuesday afternoon: Iron Goddess Oolong Milk Tea, Bae Size, 50% Sweet w/ Boba ($8) - This is a really interesting drink that doesn't taste like any other Iron Goddess (Tieguanyin) that I've had before. Instead of a more oxidized, somewhat vegetal and earthy taste, this tea delivers the aroma of warm holiday spices like clove and nutmeg. At half sweet, it's still a bit too much for me (reminder for myself to get 25% next time), but it's not a harsh sweetness by any means. The boba is very good and have been consistently good in my prior visits (other than my first visit, which was an outlier!). The pearls are clearly sweetened in syrup and have a texture that compresses on the tongue, but remains really bouncy. It's one of the few places that allows me my favorite boba chewing technique - biting off six sides to create a boba center cube. Anyway, this made the tea have a silkier mouthfeel, although I'm still not sure it does anything for the flavor of the tea as milk and sugar are already added, making the drink super smooth and creamy to begin with. Overall very cozy place to hang out especially when there isn't a lot of people. There is a kiosk at the front where you place your order, and your drinks come out around the counter. I got myself the matcha nut mylk tea and my friend got their oolong nut mylk tea. We both got our drinks at 50% sweetness and 30% ice levels. Now I'm not sure why I haven't learned my lesson on this, but considerably less sweetness has been a bad idea in today's drinks because of the lack of sweet taste, and less ice doesn't really help; both of these were the case especially with my drink. On top of the sweetness levels, the nut flavor in both our drinks is straight up overwhelming. It's so overwhelming that I couldn't even tell if they used ceremonial matcha in my drink or, conversely, oolong tea in my friend's. It also adds a different layer of creaminess all while being lactose free. Boba was decent, it had a fair sugar coating (tasted more like honey than brown sugar) and light chewiness. While it could be better, I also didn't have it fresh in store so being conscious of that. Four Seasons Tea w/ Nut Cream - this was a premium light oolong tea. Close to green tea, there was a nice floral fragrance and aroma and overall earthy as a drink. The cream was thick from the blend of various nuts and very rich in flavor. Drinking this simply feels earthy, like nuts growing in nature because of the way the cream is layered on top of the floral tea.

We saw the A-frame sign that was posted on the sidewalk, which led the way. We walked in and were surprised by how spacious and massive the lobby area is of the office building that Himalayan Coffee is located in as they had a ton of seating, including sofas and chairs you could easily sink in. This will be a great spot to get away and hang out in from the office! The menu is straightforward with all the classic beverages and they do have some pastries and macarons for treats. I saw that they had white coffee, so ordered an iced americano of that - and it was fantastic! The barista told me that all of their coffee comes from Nepal and the white coffee has a kind of nutty taste to is, which I enjoyed. Plus, ya gotta love the caffeine level with this drink, for that extra jolt. I will definitely come back for the white coffee and the spacious ambiance.
