Pretty pretty good! I've had a lot of boba in my lifetime and hand rolled boba will always be my favorite. I got the taro and the Hong Kong style tea and both were really good. The shop is really cute inside and the service was quick.

Order via contactless kiosk and then wait for your order. Or pop out to your car for a text. Staff is always nice and friendly. Space is bare and spare but I'm here to order, pick up and go! P.S. The MANGO KING is wildly popular but I'm saving my calories for that one Lol!
Walked in wasn't greeted or acknowledged there was 2 workers and no other customers. There was powder all over the surfaces in the back and on the floor like they spilled something and didn't clean it up.
When I first walked in, I noticed a strong smell that reminded me of a bathroom, which was a little off-putting. I ordered the Matcha Strawberry, and for my taste, it came out a bit sour and not quite what I expected. My partner also asked for his drink without boba, but it still came with boba in it. What surprised us even more was that we were the only ones there, and they still got the order wrong. Overall, the experience was disappointing, but I think it could be much better if the drinks were double-checked before serving and the flavors were balanced a little more.
It's 2025 and I still really enjoyed Bobaville and their homemade boba. Easy, contact free ordering at their kiosk by the entrance. Location is well taken care of, clean and plenty of parking in the plaza lot. Boba is consistently fresh, chewy and the best and only drink I order is their Mango King Large at 100% sweetness, and add boba. The mango ice cream and sweet cream makes it so creamy! Staff is always friendly. Had a short few minute wait for my drink and left a happy camper. If you're in the area, Bobaville is a fantastic spot to stop by for a freshly made drink.

They all agreed the Mango King was good, my partner said the Thai tea was good, but my friend said their fruit tea was not good. So really depends. My strongest critique is that the interior of this place sucks. It is very dull and the ground looks very beaten up. The only seating is an extremely uncomfortable and small bench and they don't even have a single table to sit at with your drinks, despite having room for at least one or two small ones. So you can only really pick up a drink here. You can't hang out and have to go somewhere else with your drink, which is rather disappointing since I like to hang out at boba places with my partner and friends. One more critique is that I noticed frequently for drinks that do not have ice cream in it, they will put a flat lid, which is fine if you don't have large toppings because a smaller normal straw fits perfectly fine in the lid, but for the thicker Boba straws when you go to push the straw into the lid , the drink pops out and gets everywhere making a huge mess and wasting some of your drink. It should be common sense for them to not to put the flatter lid, made for normal, thinner straws, for a drink that has large toppings and will need a bigger straw, but the employees don't seem too passionate or approachable. They're always quiet and seem to avoid eye contact, just swiping your drinks on the counter and walking off. So long story short, some drinks are good, some are eh (from what I was told), the interior is ugly, and customer service isn't the best. So the place is okay, I come only for the mango king drink when in the mood for it.

I got the passion fruit puree with oat milk. It looks like they use real passion fruit puree with little bits of seeds. It was a tasty, light drink. It came out to be about eight bucks for a 24 oz. I don't drink tea so I can't speak to that. The tops are not sealed FYI. They used detachable plastic lids.

Choosing the counter might entail a longer wait due to all employees actively engaged in preparing beverages; there isn't a designated cashier. On a Thursday afternoon, ample parking was available, albeit the spaces being somewhat compact. During our visit, only two patrons were waiting for their drinks. There's only one bench to sit on for 2 people. Orders can be placed for pickup via their website, contributing to potential waiting times despite the seemingly sparse occupancy. Nevertheless, our drinks were served within a five-minute timeframe from the moment of ordering. I tried the Hong Kong Milk Tea with normal ice, boba, and 75% sweetness. I intend to revisit and try it with reduced ice and standard sweetness, as the initial experience rendered it somewhat diluted and needing a sweeter taste as HK milk tea should be. (That's my bad for ordering incorrectly) Moreover, the Avocado Smoothie with boba was significantly more favorable. Notably, the lightly colored boba was explained by the establishment's policy of not incorporating artificial food coloring.

Let's cut to the chase, the MANGO KING is KING! -it's creamy, frothy, sloshy, refreshingly cool (especially on these rare hot days in the Bay) and the topping of mango ice cream with whip cream is decadent! I've also had their classic Boba tea and they hit the craving. The boba is fresh, chewy, sweet but not too sweet and of course handmade! Staff are friendly and the space is (as far as I've observed) clean. read more
If you're looking for quality matcha, this place is not it. Their matcha is very light, no umami, no creaminess. However their jasmine milk tea is very robust. Get this instead. Service is speedy. Drinks are ready within less than 10 minutes even when it's busy. read more

Bobaville is one of my favorite places to get drinks just because they don't use any artificial ingredients. They brew the tea from scratch. So the quality of the drinks here are exceptional! 10/10 read more

I got their Mango Summer Tea with Lychee Jelly and it was a disappointing drink for me. I didn't know how sweet the drinks were, so I got 75% sweetness, but I should've got 50%. I wished the drink had more of the jasmine tea flavor, all I tasted was the mango purée and lychee jelly with a small hint of mint. The flavor of this drink fell flat for me since it just tasted like mango juice. read more
I've been to Bobaville a couple times based on a friend's recommendation and found the jasmine milk tea to be quite enjoyable--definitely a highlight of the experience. However, the cups were disappointingly small, which made it feel like I wasn't getting my money's worth. Their jasmine milk tea tasted similar to Soyful's creamy milk tea which is why I enjoyed it, but you definitely get way less here for roughly the same price. The boba was mediocre; it lacked the chewy texture I was hoping for which seems to be a common theme with boba shops that make their boba in house. I came back another time and wanted to try something new, so I ordered the strawberry matcha latte which was also recommended to me. The matcha was a letdown--bitter and not pleasant at all. I can't comment much on service since I've only ever been able to order through the kiosk. There also isn't any room to sit around to enjoy my drink. Overall, there are some redeeming qualities, but improvements are needed to make it worth a return visit. read more

Why did I get multiple pieces of hard plastic in my Hong Kong tea? Horrible.... This picture is one of the pieces of hard, clear plastic I found in my boba drink. One piece? I understand. 2 pieces?? Maybe. But I found 3 pieces so far. And not drinking it anymore. Not EVER going back to Bobaville. ***Update-I think my friend figured it out. It's the tabs on the cover that broke off into my drink. So I got a defective drink cover?... because the tabs didn't break off into the other drink I bought. Still never going back. read more

Doing laundry next door and walked over to grab a drink. Got a classic milk tea with salted crema top, 1/2 sweetness. Made perfectly with flavor and a tad bit sweet. Usually when I get 1/2 sweetness other shops make it just taste like milk, here you can taste the actual tea flavor. Delicious and refreshing. read more

This store is clean and reminds me of Boba Guys. You order through an iPad when you walk in and they don't accept cash. I was excited to get the Jasmine milk tea since my go-to order when I get boba. It was nice that the default is non-dairy creamer since I am lactose intolerant. The drink came out very quickly and the worker was very nice. As for the drink, the creamer to tea ratio was not ideal. The jasmine milk tea was much too milky for my preference and I could barely taste the tea, only a hint of floral and the rest tasted like I was drinking milk. I saw a couple other reviews saying the drinks aren't sweet enough and the JMT was too milky and I certainly agree. I wish I could taste more tea and the sweetness of it as I got 100, but it tasted like 30%. I liked the boba, but I got quite a small scoop of it, but I understand because it was 1 hour until closing and they might have a more limited supply since it is handmade. Note that it is not dyed black like boba at other stores and it was a bit smaller as well. read more

Came here because I was craving some boba and did a quick google search. The interior is small, no seating except for a small bench where you can wait for your order. I ordered the classic milk tea with boba, which is made with Assam black tea. The drink itself was good and I could taste the tea flavor, but the boba was smaller and chewier than I prefer. I also got 100% ice but it seemed like a lot of the ice melted as there wasn't much left in the drink and it tasted a bit watery (maybe it melts faster bc they use smaller cubes?). Overall, I wouldn't come back for a $7 drink that wasn't amazing, but it could do in a pinch! read more

:(((((((( Our drinks were soooooo bad! Almond milk tea - Tasted straight up like syrup bleghhhhhhh. The boba was just okay. Small, gooey, and too syrupy-- pretty much melted in our mouth without us having to chew so we didn't know the texture of the boba :( Roasted oolong with salted crema - The tea flavor was soooo watered down like it was SO bland. I chose 100% sweetness but it tasted like 0% + bland af. Just horrible :( Maybe we were served a bad batch this time, but we're both willing to give this place another try. read more

5 year review. As a Mango King guy I always pick this place because of the flavor of the boba and mango ice cream. The issue I have is the establishment. This place could be the center of the community but don't offer SEATING TABLES. It would have been nice to walk in talk to a server, sit down and drink. Instead it's a cold nasty iPad asking for a 3 dollar tip. You make homemade Boba but the store feels nothing like home. It's fast food. In and out. When I am a repeated customer I want to know the server or they know me and have that relationship. I wonder if it's because of the laundromat next door don't want kids running around. Still there are ways to enforce or establish that. I'm calling y'all out because all that retail space is being wasted. Feel like I could just go to a vending machine put money in and spit out a drink. That's why I give 3 stars as a former loyal customer. Let's do better. The workers are great, I don't believe they have a say in the matter. Just give me a number I get a drink then deuces. read more

Great place! Very fast and not too busy (at least during the time I went). They have a kiosk tablet which allows you to order it without the need of talking to anyone! I had a great experience overall, only took less than 5 mins for my order (just ordered 2 drinks). I ordered a Matcha Latte with brown sugar and lychee jelly. I'd like to say they have really good lychee jelly, the right type of chewiness and flavor. The Matcha was also great! The first few sips were a little powdery but, it wasn't as shaken well before the straw was put in. It's very important to mix this type of drink. I think the right time to drink this specific drink is to let the brown sugar dissolve into the drink ( so mix a lot! ). The only thing I can emphasize is to be careful parking! In location where there's a lot unaware drivers and can be easily caught in an accident. Take your time finding parking and don't rush! read more
If you love boba, you gotta check out Bobaville! Would you believe they make their own boba? I mean, who does that when it's so much easier to order from a supplier, right? But they do! You see, I like boba drinks but without boba. (I know it's like ordering iced tea without ice). I feel like they're all the same and the only word that best describe them is... chewy. You judge boba by its chewiness and maybe sweetness, but that's about it. With Bobaville, I got curious and so I added boba to my drink. As expected the boba was of course chewy yet it was less sweet. The color was not the usual black but rather opaque like sago. Was it significantly different from the regular ones? Nope, not really. If I were to do a blind test, I wouldn't be able to tell which one was handmade texture-wise. However, I very much appreciate that they care what goes in their boba by making their own and not adding artificial flavors. If you're gonna get boba anyway why not choose one that you know was made in small batches with loving attention and care for their consumers in mind. Oh, and you must get the Mango King. It's soooo yummy. I have yet to try the matcha lattes, the photos looked good. read more
If your the type of person that likes to customize boba drinks and enjoy fresh in house boba then this place deserves a visit ! The house lets you customize with 4 different teas Jasmine , Black, Roasted oolong, and Thai 4 different types of sweetness wait 5 different types of sweetness Normal 100% , Less 75%, half 50%, and light 25% And None 0% 5 different types of milk Half and half , organic almond , organic soy, Creme, and ice cream Toppings Hand made boba ,Almond jelly , lycheejelly , grass jelly and agar boba I ordered an avocado shake no toppings with no sugar. To my surprise the no sugar came out really well. Yeh it might be plain but there are hints of sugar and I really enjoyed it. Creamy avocado The Hong Kong milk tea with boba Black tea made with milk with homemade boba is also a great go to.
