One of my favorite dessert stops in serramonte. Nearly all of the fruit flavors I have tried have tasted close to authentic (rather than artifacial), especially taro and mango. The topping bar has a great balance of fruit/jellies/mochi and chocolate/decadent/cereal. Some flavors have been overly tart or sweet (cake batter, for one), and it is a detriment that no sampling is allowed, which makes me nervous to try other flavors. The environment is really nice with a fair amount of seating. At the same time, there is great seating in the mall hallway or the nearby pond. Service hasn't been an issue, with the space being quite clean and toppings filled. Prices are a tad on the high end, but for the quality yogurt, it is a great stop. read more

My friend likes SF Froyo and wanted me to try it. She treated me to the frozen yogurt since there isn't an SF Froyo location in San Francisco. The frozen yogurt is self-service, with a variety of flavors available, including Dutch Chocolate, Very Strawberry, Cake Batter, Alphonso Mango, Vanilla Bean, Cookie Monster, Taro, Original Tart, Passion Orange Guava, and Watermelon. I selected a few different flavors and added toppings such as blueberries, strawberries, and mangoes. The mixed frozen yogurt was good, but I can't say I liked it that much because I generally prefer ice cream. For two orders, the total came to about $16 (priced at $0.89 per ounce), which felt a little expensive to me. My daughter loves coming to San Froyo. It's always fun seeing what flavors are available each day. We prefer the fruity flavors- they're so refreshing. Current fave is the P.O.G. flavor. They also make fresh acai bowls. There's a wide range of options for toppings and sauces you can add to your Froyo. It's kept pretty clean and tidy. Theres some seating inside and outside the shop. Unfortunately they don't let you sample any of the flavors so you might end up with a cupful of flavors you don't like. My spouse got the cookie monster flavor and ended up not liking the flavor and had to throw most of it out. I added mostly fruit flavors to my cup. I distinctly remember the pomegranate flavor tasting like they took straight pomegranate juice and making a sorbet out of it. The fruit flavors are mostly good, but I think the creamy fruit flavors were more satisfying. I think it was about 89 cents an ounce? My cup turned out to be ~$9-10. Pricing: it is 0.89 per oz. This can get really pricy really fast. I wish they had mini sample cups since they have so many good sounding flavors. I stole some bites out of my friend's cup. The mango, cheesecake, and the taro were all good. They had a lot of toppings. There is also a drink menu. The lighting inside is very harsh on the eyes. It also makes it really hard to read the laminated flavor sheets. You can see all the light reflecting off of the sheets in my photos. This can make the shopping experience really uncomfortable. Some of the flavors tasted artificial like the mountain berry and the sorbets were all very sweet. The original tart was okay but not tart enough. Froyo: (1/5) We tried the plain tart & passion orange guava. The plain tart was not tart enough and was heavy on the milk profile. The POG was very passionate HAH and had a strong orange aftertaste that hits you in the face. Did not get to try the strawberry since it was out of service. They had ample toppings. We got one layer of froyo and minimal toppings and it the total came a little under $5 which came to a great surprise. They definitely do not tare the scale. Given the quality and the outrageous price, I will never be coming back here. In addition, they don't offer sample cups which was very disappointing. I love froyo and it's hard to find a shop around lately. Saw this place and had to give it a try even though I didn't expect it to be good. I hoped it would be average at least. I got the original tart with strawberry, blueberry, pineapple, mochi, and captain crunch. The original tart flavor was super light. It tasted like nothing but sometimes you taste it a little bit. It wasn't smooth and creamy either. It was thin and icy. Maybe the other flavors are better(?) It's also very expensive. If it was good I wouldn't mind the price but it wasn't worth it. The froyo flavors were great and they had a very good selection of toppings my only complaint would be that as most froyo places like this the gummy options such as gummy bears and sourpatch kids sit to long on open containers and get hard and unpleasant to mix with the froyo, my recommendation would be to fill up less the containers so they finish faster and keep refilling to keep them fresh tasting and make sure to keep the original bag closed so they dont go stale, other than that great place prices were a little bit high but not much different then other places. read more

i make the most disgusting slop of a froyo ever and the staff never judges me, its so great. I like the dutch chocolate, its actually very mild to the point where it's not rich, so its versatile to pair with sauces like pistachio sauce. We recently stopped by San Froyo on our trip to the Serramonte Center in Daly City. After seeing many TikTok videos about it, we knew this had to be a destination while we were in the area. They offered us samples to try and their various selections of frozen yogurt were amazing. They even had a selection of sherbet which you don't see very often. Both their pomegranate and pineapple sherbet were incredible... smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Their frozen yogurt selections were also top notch. While we were here, we also tried two of their açai bowls which were also fresh, flavorful, and had a nice presentation. The whole place had a clean and cheerful vibe to it. Finally a froyo place in Serramonte and went above and beyond. I was down to receive the same generic froyo but these flavors are so good! First time I went I got Pineapple and Cinnamon and the flavors were amazing! The story is very clean which is nice for a place that is self serving! They just rotated the flavors so I tried their Pumpkin pie and it's soo good and has me ready for Thanksgiving pumpkin pie later this week. It's all me and my family have been talking about. I love frozen yogurt over ice cream because it's lighter and not overly sweet, which this place nails that balance perfectly. I've already been here 3 times since they opened, first time I got the classic froyo setup which was chocolate, some vanilla, and 'Cookie Monster' (at first I was confused but wow), second time I got more tropical flavors (mango literally tasted like clean mango lassi perfection), and last time I got the berrylicious smoothie that took me 2 hours to drink because I was savoring every sip.
