What a nice touch indeed. So while she ultimately settled on a few things, I was able to settle in and gather my breath after having walked around this mall with a poor choice of shoes for way longer than I had anticipated. And while the nearby major anchor stores also have their own Chanel sections, you'll definitely want to give this particular location located near the Bloomingdale's exit (not too far from Panini's) a real shot if you cherish more personalized service. And if you're lucky you might be able to grab one of the two seats that are offered to their guests to relax and hydrate while the others in your party shops.

I have hooded eyes that almost droop over my short natural lashes so…read moreafter staring for hours at my phone screen scrolling through all the different options on their website, I decided I needed in-person expert advice and was so glad there was a brick and mortar store relatively close by (well, it was an hour drive from me, but doable) My lash technician, Aldo, was the best. He talked me through all his tips and techniques as he applied the lashes or "gossimers," so I could learn to do it myself. I got a lot of compliments that they looked natural, which was what I was going for. The next day I totally forgot I had lashes on when I took a shower, facing into the shower head briefly before I remembered, but the lashes were totally fine even though they got wet! One final thing worth mentioning, when putting in the address into GPS, make sure you select Lashify on Melrose Blvd. I didn't look carefully and Google Maps took me to the Lashify warehouse in North Hollywood, so don't make my mistake and be sure you choose the Lashify Boutique in West Hollywood on Melrose Place. For those curious which lashes I got: Minx black B1 8 10 10 10 12 12 and they also come in a brown color called Minx Ice.

I used to get my eyelashes done professionally every few weeks until I developed an allergy to the glue that they used. I tried different salons, even those that advertised that they used gentler and less toxic glues, and always had the same impact. I switched to lash lifts for a couple of years until.. you guessed it.. allergic reaction. I took a couple of years off, devastated that I couldn't do anything to my straight, thin lashes anymore, and even the most expensive mascaras and curling wands didn't do much to help. Open day I was pushed an ad for lashify and decided to try it out, expecting the same result. Well, two years later, I am a full on lashifiend. I have yet to develop and allergy to any of their glues (I have tried them all) and I really hope that it stays this way. But aside from the allergy, I find using lashify to be some much easier as I can do it at home instead of having to make an appointment and go somewhere. Ditto that for traveling. I can now redo them myself while on the road. Lashify has great online tutorials and all sorts of different styles and lengths of lashes. The store often has products that are out of stock online, and visiting gives you the opportunity to see everything in person and ask questions. You also get a free lash application with the purchase of the lashes. As a member (X), I can use my discount in store. You cannot however, use store credit or discounts in store. Also note that online they can be pretty strict about appointment times and cancellations, but just give the store a call and they will try to work with you.
