to a taste of what it's like at Hanok. The skin analysis surprised me because I was able to see how my skin quality was in different metrics from electricity, hydration, pore size, etc. They did a great job in the decor and ambiance. My facial was extremely thorough and the extractions were very gentle and painless. I usually do hydrafacials but I kinda like the Korean aqua peel version more. I also loved the variety of tools used, very high tech. I fell asleep in my lymphatic massage. There was like 10 different steps in a 90 min relaxing facial. Arrive 15 min early for intake form and for your skin analysis! You definitely don't want to skip the analysis so make sure you come ahead of time for that. The tea pot at the end with different korean loose leaf leaves that you can smell was a nice touch. Definitely come here if you want an elevated facial but want an intro to Korean products and techniques. It's a little on the pricier end but worth it for a splurge sesh. They did a skin analysis at the beginning which was so cool because they take photos and analyze your skin which I've never had done and tell you your age based on your skin, turns out my skin is oily which I never knew before! I did something similar at a Kiehl's once, but what Hanok has and does delves much deeper than that machine. I love that they email you the results and I think if you go often enough, you can see improvements as they store that for you. The space is beautiful, the decor excellent. They'll do a skin assessment using a fancy machine which outputs information such as how much oil you have and your skin's hydration levels. Next, the facial itself was top notch. I almost fell asleep which is a testament to the caliber of the massage. Let me explain. The 3 stars has nothing to do with general service. In fact I'd give the esthetician a 5. I'm giving it a 3 based on what I thought the experience would be and location. When I first saw Hanok on IG it was a video of a young lady telling you all the about the experience of getting your face analyzed and getting the treatment then being able to dress in traditional clothing and have tea in the garden. Now I'm not sure if the tea is part of a different service I didn't ask for but I was looking forward to that part of the experience and was a bit disappointed when I didn't even get offered to have it. Now the location, it's not difficult to find, but I'm not a fan of the parking. You have to find street parking and everything is metered. That's a bit annoying. The esthetician herself, Rebecca, was very nice. She was very gentle with my skin and made sure I was comfortable. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep during the process. Very relaxing. I'd go back again just for her. I did like the face analyzer to really see what my problem areas are so that is a useful part of the process that they email to you. They do give you recommendations on additional add on services and they make it known they you do not have to get any of them. I do think to make that more believable they should move their tracking sheet clipboard that shows how many of each service they were able to sell. All in all it's a nice place and I would probably go back to rescan my face and see if it improves. The general feel is very open and light. Not a lot of decor in the lobby. Plants and a few books. There's a shelving unit with products you can buy as well. Bathrooms are simple and they have you wash your face if you're wearing something before they scan it. I'm not the biggest fan of the towels. I'd rather disposable cloths for wiping my face. Like I said it's a nice place. A bit pricey but if you want to try it out I'd still say it's worth it. read more

1 of the worse facials I've ever had. My husband and I wrnt in for a couples facial. He got the glass skin and I got the regenerative facial, hydrapeel, and exosome at the advice of the skin analysis lady. The total cost was $1156 after tax and tip. First of all, we were there 30mins early but they didnt seem us until approx 30 mins past our appointment time, thus making us late for our other engagement afterwards. The feet soak was luke warm at best and the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. No neck pillows were offered. My aesthetician was very rough and rushed. She used the vibrating pen for the exosome "infusion" like a crayon on my face and came close to stabbing my eyelid at times. Also, they just poured the exosome liquid onto your face while using the vibrating pen, so I'm not sure if it even does anything. Definitely not worth it for an extra $200. The most egregious offense were the extractions she did. Almost everything she poked at became inflamed the night of and it's now turned into a full zit. Why would you try to extract something that is not ready and make my acne infected?! The ladies were also moving the machines back and forth between my husband, plugging in cords and unplugging them. I'm not sure if they sterilized the machines between my husband and, but they certainly didn't clean their hands after they plugged in the cords and started touching my face. I'm now breaking out even more after this facial and I deeply regret coming here. Don't believe in the hype and go to an actual medspa, especially for the amount they charge here! read more

While the entrance is gorgeous & the place is kept immaculate, I'm unsure I'd return given the price point. I received the glass facial for $350 + tip. That's about the same price as a microneedling + PRF session-which is worth the money because it's an invasive treatment. A lot of the masks & cleansers that were used during my treatment I could have done at home myself. I did love the massage, but I'd rather go to Wi Spa or Hugh Spa for an intense massage, scrub & lunch. There's a reason they always have availability... read more
