Prior to my appointment I called to verify that they had my dental plan on file. They said that they would call and proceeded to tell me that I had no benefits outside of basic cleaning. I brought to the office my dental plan coverage and Patty at the front desk, said my dental insurance only covered until the age of 14. That they had already called my insurance and my medical is paired with my dental. Informed her I pay for my dental separate from my medical. She still insisted it didn't cover anything and to call my insurance. I called my dental plan and my insurance representative called the dental office to confirm that they did not call the right insurance number to verify coverage. Stay away from this office that just tries to make you pay for services without checking your dental benefits!!!

She declined and requested just a regular cleaning, but was told they could not do that since it would be a disservice to her. My wife is overly protective of her teeth, so it was shocking that they said she would need that, but even more shocking they would not perform a regular cleaning as requested. As consumers we need to watch out for each other and not allow companies to take advantage of us. Hopefully someone reads this and doesn't allow this business to take their money for something they do not need. We will request a copy of x-rays, periodontal chart, and a written plan explaining why a standard cleaning was not appropriate. We will get a second opinion and if they do not align, we will report this to the dental board for being unethical.

Here's a fact. I needed a lot of novacane to get the 2 cavities cleaned and filled. The novacane numbed my mouth so much I could barely feel but felt the assistant was using the suction and pushing ao deep into the inside of my cheek that she cut it with the suction tool separating my cheek from the operated teeth. When the next day came the inside of my mouth was swollen and chewing was difficult. 2 days later same pain and uncomfortability. I called and spoke to the receptionist. The receptionist replied as if its a normal reaction. I was so mad I replied I've been going to the dentist for 50 years and this is not supposed to happen. I never feel like just another customer which is what you want when your mouth is wide open and teeth are being drilled. The ladies in the office are all so kind, helpful, and welcoming. They send a reminder text for upcoming appointments and have been so accommodating when I've had to reschedule. Dr. Lee has been the absolute best! He has very honestly expressed and explained procedures that he suggests I have, but has made it very clear that it is not urgent.
