Terrific breakfast spot just around the corner from the Holiday Inn and many other hotels. Skip the hotel restaurant and head here for better coffee, freshly baked pastries and made to order breakfast dishes that include eggs, potatoes, and sausages. That's what I did every morning I stayed at the Holiday Inn and it improved my stay a lot! It's also a pleasant place to sit and eat. They have plenty of tables and the interior is nicely maintained. However, if you just want coffee and a pastry, you be in and out faster than at a Starbucks!

Food-fresh and the Jerusalem bagel is different than average bagel very light and crispy when toasted with smoke salmon accompanied with side salad of arugula and spinach and cumber and tomatoes. I also order cream cheese on side. Nothing beats cortadito coffee in Miami and getting the pistachio matcha latte to go. Service -you can order to go or get service seated inside or outside has table in a courtyard but current construction of new building a lil loud out there. Ambiance-pink theme with picture of their grandmas making food on walls. Cozy and welcoming.

Came to Bobe's while in town visiting for an early breakfast. The service was welcoming and good. The decor is well put together, very pink! It's quite a big place too, deceptively so when looking at it from outside. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Bagel, which was good. It not like a NYC Lox, though, it's a little more plain, but the bagel was very good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My wife ordered the Morning Melt sandwich, which was solid, but maybe a little under-seasoned for her liking. The star of the show was the Pistachio Cappuccino. Phenomenal! I see why they're known for it. A perfect morning cup!

Bobe is such such a cute little bakery. We came here for breakfast. We started with the matcha and golden latte. My husband had the Shakshuka which he enjoyed. I had the PLT, that's pastrami instead of bacon since this is an Israeli kitchen, With a side of Israeli salad which was SO refreshing on a hot Miami day. The service was nice, especially the barista behind the counter. I wanted to try every ice coffee he was making. Conveniently located across the street from the Miami Dade college. Side note: 18% gratuities already added to our bill which is pretty common for Miami

Six months in and this place is a keeper. Think of it as an all day coffee, bakery, diner with comfortable seats, delicious sandwiches, and homey and friendly service. The kitchen combines Argentinian Jewish Israeli recipes and fusion comfort food - breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner. The Burekas are insanely delicious and my plan is to return weekly to enjoy in the spinach kale feta goodness of theirs. Go and check it out -- you wont be disappointed. And you won't leave hungry!

Loved this spot! Came here with a friend for a Sunday brunch, you order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table. Inside and outside decor is really cute. Service was good and I love the little picture frames that provide instead of numbers. I got the PLT croissant sandwich which was delicious and filling. I also got the Dubai coffee but that is 100% a dessert not coffee, was a fun drink to try though.

This is such a cute restaurant with good lunch specials! If you're an MDC student or employee, you'll get a discount, so show them your ID. They have delicious mediterranean salads, tasty salmon, and roasted veggies for less than $20. The baked goods are also delicious and fresh. They have a blueberry roll that's just mouth watering -- get this to go for after lunch dessert w a nice latte! I've been there several times, but on my last visit, I used their bathroom and you can expect a clean and maintained space -- lovely wallpaper too, in general, a nice chic space to eat while in downtown.

I had incredibly high hopes for this place. I came twice - once in the morning and once in the PM to pick up a Too Good to Go bag. when we came in the morning, it wasn't very busy. you basically pick a table you'd like to dine at & they will bring you over a menu and take your order. I ordered the french toast as that will always be my go to order for just about anywhere. my friend ordered the roast beef sandwich which apparently wasn't very good? but the bread was good. the french toast was delicious! it was perfectly topped with fruit and nutella drizzled all over it. I was sorely disappointed on the second toast as it wasn't fully cooked. our server offered to either replace it, but I was full at the time and wasn't going to eat another order of french toast. I also had the pistachio matcha latte which was good, but you didn't get a hint of pistachio unless you eat the pistachios on the rim. but good either way. she gave us both a discount on our meal of 20%. their pastries I received from Too Good to Go wasn't bad. deliciously baked & totally worth it.

I came by last night to celebrate a friend's birthday after seeing the birthday package and the 50% off pizzas from 3-6pm advertised. The moment I walked in, things went downhill. We sat at a table and waited around 10 minutes with zero acknowledgement from anyone. No greeting, no menu, nothing. It was clear no one was planning to take our order. I finally walked over to the cashier to order the 50% off pizzas and the birthday pastry, and he looked at me like he had no idea what I was talking about. He claimed the manager "must have taken it down because pizza was being given away." Seriously? Then he also said he didn't know anything about the birthday package either. I showed the photos as proof--still nothing. I've been here before for breakfast, and the daytime service is way better. But the night team? Completely unorganized and uninterested in providing even basic customer service. To make it worse, they seemed more focused on storing luggage for tourists than actually helping paying customers who were trying to eat. It was honestly unbelievable. Overall, I had a horrible experience last night and wouldn't recommend coming here in the evening at all.

I got the pistachio matcha latte with oat milk and it blew me away. Having had many bad experiences at other cafes where my matcha were either super chalky or tasteless, I didn't have any expectation for what I would be getting at Bobe. To my surprise, the drink was super creamy, smooth, and not too sweet. While the pistachio flavor was bold, it did not overpower the matcha. The two flavors worked very well together and balanced each other out. The only downside was that it was very pricey (about $10), but everything in Miami is expensive. Ambiance wise, the restaurant itself is super cute and cozy with a lot of unique decors. I'd love to come back to try out their pastries and other drinks!

I saw this bakery on yelp and I must say it is exactly how it is posted online. I absolutely loved this place, staff were kind and friendly. Food seemed fresh with a great homely vibe. I ate here twice within my stay in Miami. It is a sit down wherever you like restaurant, with inside or outside seating. The décor is a cute all pink grandma kitchen type of set up. I love that they have a kitchen playset for the kids to be entertained in the back corner. we ordered: -Fresh Orange Juice 10/10- sweet, fresh and yummy -Jerusalem Morning Melt - 10/10 the first order of this sandwich was on a bagel and second was on focaccia bread. I personally prefer the bagel, but both were very yummy. -Avo Toast - 9/10 yummy, perfect for a light breakfast -Filled Croissant (Pistachio) 10/10 not too sweet, but enough to enjoy without having that guilt trip. Perfect crunch to the pastry. -Croissant with turkey- 10/10 my son ate almost the whole pastry which is a really decent size. We did not receive the bill the first time and we were sort of in a rush to leave for our cruise we met at the front desk to pay. All in all it came to $97.. I paid with $120 for bill and tip. My son then decided he wanted a cookie to go. So the gentleman behind the counter did not let us pay for it which I thought was so kind. I enjoyed this place so much that I wanted to visit this place one last time before heading home. I ordered the same exact meal just different bread. My son got to enjoy the kitchen playset while I enjoyed my meal. As checking out I realized they charge gratuity included in the bill regardless of party size and give an option for extra tip. It's hard to read because they do not print out to review and it is on a small machine. I am a little disappointed for them not to make people aware of the automatic gratuity, hence why I gave 3 stars instead of 5. So I basically gave the waitress about a $40 tip the first time (approx. 60% tip)and basically paid for the pastry given to my son. A great place to visit and food was great just pay attention to the bill and hidden charges

I'm always excited to experience new spots. Bobe is fairly new and I had seen it advertised on a few "best new places for breakfast/brunch", so I decided to come here for a Sunday brunch. The place itself is eye-catching and pretty instagramable. It's beautiful. I started with a flat white, a fresh squeezed OJ and an almond croissant. The coffee was weak in my opinion. On the other hand, the juice was truly fresh squeezed and it tasted so good and refreshing. As for the croissant, it was good enough, I enjoyed it My problem was with the main dishes, the avocado toast and the shakshouka. The avocado toast was made with some sort of blended avocado cream/spread. I wouldn't get an avocado toast, should I have known it was made with a spread instead of 100% avocado mashed. I love avocado toast and I have it pretty often when I go out for breakfast and brunches, so I have a good understanding of what a good one looks and tastes like. To top It off, the egg was overcooked, completely hard. For the shakshouka, I can say it is the worst one I have ever had. There was no effort behind this dish. It was made with cheap and acidic tomato sauce straight out of a can with the eggs on top. Usually, shakshouka is made of a tomato sauce cooked together with onions, red bell pepper, garlic, oregano, cumin, cinnamon (for Moroccan style), smoked paprika, feta cheese, etc. This dish was missing everything but the tomato sauce which was not balanced out for acidify. The only good thing was the bread that was provided to eat it with. Based on my experience, I would only recommend this place for a coffee and a pastry such as a croissant, but nothing else. Típ, don't seat inside, head to the outdoor patio seating. I noticed a lot of the kitchen smell and smoke make it to the indoors dining area and your clothing will stink afterwards for sure.

Was in Miami for a quick visit. This place is a diamond in the rough of downtown Miami. Very French atmosphere and design. All drinks were carefully closed up with a pull tab can top keeping the drink from spilling on the move. Service was fast for 7 people. Amazing breakfast and bakery! I haven't tried lunch yet, but definitely will be back. We had the Israeli breakfast. I liked that it came with eggs, a really good bagel, labneh, pastrami, a side salad and Israeli salad. It was very good. We also had the avocado toast with the smoked salmon. Great ambiance! The restaurant is beautiful with great seating indoors and outdoors in a private patio area that is shaded and between buildings. Stopped here for a late breakfast this past weekend. The coffee was lukewarm and the crust on the quiche was soggy. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as it was bitter cold outside and they were packed. However, I was FLOORED when I got my check and saw an 18% service charge automatically added to the bill! To make matters worse, dine-in table side service is paid on an iPad so as the customer, you never see the full breakdown of the cost BEFORE paying for your bill. I was suspicious of the high amount and had to wait for a paper receipt and this is after I had to chase down my waitress TWICE for service! I will not be dining here again as there was no mention of an automatic service charge either on the menu or in writing at the counter. I am fed up with restaurants automatically adding "service charge" to a bill. Especially when the service is poor to begin with. Where is the incentive for the wait staff to do their job and EARN a tip?! read more

stopped by Bobe Grandma's Kitchen and Bakery in Downtown Miami and wow I'm so glad I did. It's tucked away on NE 4th Street but once you're inside it feels like you walked into someone's home. It's all warm vibes and good smells right when you walk through the door. The menu is full of Israeli comfort food and baked goods and it's the kind of place where everything is made with care. I had the smoked salmon bagel with zaatar cream cheese and their lamb kofta plate and both were honestly fire. Super fresh and super flavorful. And don't even get me started on the pastries. I tried the pistachio croissant and it was one of the best I've had in Miami. The staff was super sweet and helpful and even took time to explain a few of the dishes to me since some were new to me. You can tell it's a spot that cares about people as much as food. It's casual but cute and the kind of place you want to come back to with friends or even on a chill solo brunch. If you're in the area and want something different from your usual breakfast or bakery spots this is definitely one to check out. read more

Absolutely love this place so so much! My favorite cafe in Miami now! Luckily it's right next to my school because after my friend told me about this place I can't stop going. We look forward to having our drink and pastry at Bobe every class day. They also give you 10% off if you're a student and they have loyalty cards where you can get a free drink after a certain amount. During the holidays they gave us gingerbread cookies to bake and the ambience is so cute and homey. I've also tried the food and while the Israeli breakfast was soo disappointing. Hash browns instead of latkes and just expensive for what it was, their side dishes and kebabs are incredible and so healthy. They have so much seating and I really hope they stay open it's quickly become one of my favorites spots with the best matcha and sweet pastries. read more

Stumbled upon this place as it was close to our hotel. So happy we did! Decor is so beautiful - bright and colorful. The food was amazing We had smoked salmon Bagel and the Breakfast Melt sandwich. Both were outstanding and the side of a pico-type dish was so fresh and bursting with flavour. Renzo, our server, provided wonderful service and made some great recommendations. Love the Mediterranean cuisine and the decor. This is an ideal place to have brunch or have coffee with the girlies the place is pink from head to toe, with adorable pictures of European Grandmas and a nicely decorated patio area. The lamb was SOOOO good, and if you're going to get a pastry you must get the cinnamon roll. read more

This is such a sweet hidden gem. It looks small but once you walk in it's so spacious. They have the sweet peaceful patio that reminds me of Europe a bit, a breath of fresh air for Miami. The service was terrible. I went with some friends on a Sunday afternoon and the service was so bad. We had to ask the server for multiple different times that we ordered and that never came, multiple times, over 4 times. Mind you, it was not busy at all. I would've looked past this a little more if the food was excellent and unforgettable but it was unfortunately not. Tip is included in the total, which is probably why there was no sense of urgency and the service was bad but at the end I still tipped a little extra because one of the servers was nice but I shouldn't have. Definitely not recommended and won't be coming back. Hopefully others have better experiences. read more

So aesthetic and cute place located just 2 min walking from Bayside. Highly recommend the SHAKSHUKA if you're coming for brunch. The pomegranate mimosa and pistachio latte were also delicious. We had also ordered the MATILDE'S BOIO and GAGO'S SCHNITZEL which unfortunately tasted pretty bland and dry. read more

I went to this place for brunch on a Sunday. It's beautiful and a has a nice menu. But I'd say only go there if you wanna grab a coffee and/or a pastry. I got a flat white and an almond croissant which were fine. But I was very dissatisfied with other items. I had the shakshuka which by far was the WORST one I ever had. It was made with a cheap tomato sauce and very bland. My friend got the avocado toast with poached egg which was bad too! I tried a piece, the avocado they used was like a guacamole right from the supermarket and the poached egg was overly cooked. It was more like a hard boiled egg than poached. read more

I've came here 4 total times and I've truly tried to like the place simply because I'm always in the area. On multiple occasions I've came in and the baked goods along with the foods have been mediocre. No consistency on the baked goods. I ordered a nosh when I first came in and it was raw, the dough was raw and some of the grounded beef was also raw, I also ordered some he shushuka to go once and the bread was under loads of tomatoes and peppers which the bread completely soggy so couldn't even enjoy the dish. For the final trial I had the Israeli breakfast.. the pastrami was like rubber, the latkes were soggy breaking easily, which also I found avocado on not sure how. The eggs were supposed to be sunny side up as described but they're currently being served as rolled up omelettes not sure why. The pistachio matcha had nothing tasting like pistachio, I read the reviews saying it was creaming and bold pistachio flavor, not sure if maybe they forgot it in mine but it was a regular matcha with pistachio rim.. The only thing I've truly enjoyed is the small salad that comes with every dish. It truly gives you the feel that the owners just wanted to open a place to profit and wouldn't even eat here. Please stop making restaurants just for profit and make it because you are collaborating with people who care about the quality and make food because they truly enjoy to not just because of money. The set up is confusing so some people order then sit but apparently you're suppose to sit and wait for someone to come to you to order.. which the employees are also confused because many order then sit because no one in the take out are ever asks for here or to go in order to prevent confusion for all. extremely rude staff, they charged me a fee even tho im a college student who ordered ONE singular thing. This fee was two extra dollars i paid for in a simple matcha. They also kick you out even when u order a coffee because u cant eat other things or take up their CAFE area soace. The staff doesnt speak english and remain rude forcing a tip fee. read more

We were really disappointed with our experience here. Even though the cafe wasn't incredibly busy and there were plenty of staff members, the service was among the worst I've experienced. It genuinely felt like we were being ignored (we were a party of three). What made it worse is that this lunch was meant to celebrate my little sister's birthday, which was noted in the reservation, but it was never acknowledged. The ambiance was nice and the food was decent, though definitely overpriced for what we received. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed everything else.
