    Morning pastries

Terrific breakfast spot just around the corner from the Holiday Inn and many other hotels. Skip the hotel restaurant and head here for better coffee, freshly baked pastries and made to order breakfast dishes that include eggs, potatoes, and sausages. That's what I did every morning I stayed at the Holiday Inn and it improved my stay a lot! It's also a pleasant place to sit and eat. They have plenty of tables and the interior is nicely maintained. However, if you just want coffee and a pastry, you be in and out faster than at a Starbucks!

Great little place- excellent food! Decor was cute! Very instagram-worthy! Definitely would recommend if you are visiting Miami!

Food-fresh and the Jerusalem bagel is different than average bagel very light and crispy when toasted with smoke salmon accompanied with side salad of arugula and spinach and cumber and tomatoes. I also order cream cheese on side. Nothing beats cortadito coffee in Miami and getting the pistachio matcha latte to go. Service -you can order to go or get service seated inside or outside has table in a courtyard but current construction of new building a lil loud out there. Ambiance-pink theme with picture of their grandmas making food on walls. Cozy and welcoming.

Came to Bobe's while in town visiting for an early breakfast. The service was welcoming and good. The decor is well put together, very pink! It's quite a big place too, deceptively so when looking at it from outside. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Bagel, which was good. It not like a NYC Lox, though, it's a little more plain, but the bagel was very good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My wife ordered the Morning Melt sandwich, which was solid, but maybe a little under-seasoned for her liking. The star of the show was the Pistachio Cappuccino. Phenomenal! I see why they're known for it. A perfect morning cup!

Bobe is such such a cute little bakery. We came here for breakfast. We started with the matcha and golden latte. My husband had the Shakshuka which he enjoyed. I had the PLT, that's pastrami instead of bacon since this is an Israeli kitchen, With a side of Israeli salad which was SO refreshing on a hot Miami day. The service was nice, especially the barista behind the counter. I wanted to try every ice coffee he was making. Conveniently located across the street from the Miami Dade college. Side note: 18% gratuities already added to our bill which is pretty common for Miami

Six months in and this place is a keeper. Think of it as an all day coffee, bakery, diner with comfortable seats, delicious sandwiches, and homey and friendly service. The kitchen combines Argentinian Jewish Israeli recipes and fusion comfort food - breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner. The Burekas are insanely delicious and my plan is to return weekly to enjoy in the spinach kale feta goodness of theirs. Go and check it out -- you wont be disappointed. And you won't leave hungry!

This is such a cute restaurant with good lunch specials! If you're an MDC student or employee, you'll get a discount, so show them your ID. They have delicious mediterranean salads, tasty salmon, and roasted veggies for less than $20. The baked goods are also delicious and fresh. They have a blueberry roll that's just mouth watering -- get this to go for after lunch dessert w a nice latte! I've been there several times, but on my last visit, I used their bathroom and you can expect a clean and maintained space -- lovely wallpaper too, in general, a nice chic space to eat while in downtown.

I had incredibly high hopes for this place. I came twice - once in the morning and once in the PM to pick up a Too Good to Go bag. when we came in the morning, it wasn't very busy. you basically pick a table you'd like to dine at & they will bring you over a menu and take your order. I ordered the french toast as that will always be my go to order for just about anywhere. my friend ordered the roast beef sandwich which apparently wasn't very good? but the bread was good. the french toast was delicious! it was perfectly topped with fruit and nutella drizzled all over it. I was sorely disappointed on the second toast as it wasn't fully cooked. our server offered to either replace it, but I was full at the time and wasn't going to eat another order of french toast. I also had the pistachio matcha latte which was good, but you didn't get a hint of pistachio unless you eat the pistachios on the rim. but good either way. she gave us both a discount on our meal of 20%. their pastries I received from Too Good to Go wasn't bad. deliciously baked & totally worth it.

I came by last night to celebrate a friend's birthday after seeing the birthday package and the 50% off pizzas from 3-6pm advertised. The moment I walked in, things went downhill. We sat at a table and waited around 10 minutes with zero acknowledgement from anyone. No greeting, no menu, nothing. It was clear no one was planning to take our order. I finally walked over to the cashier to order the 50% off pizzas and the birthday pastry, and he looked at me like he had no idea what I was talking about. He claimed the manager "must have taken it down because pizza was being given away." Seriously? Then he also said he didn't know anything about the birthday package either. I showed the photos as proof--still nothing. I've been here before for breakfast, and the daytime service is way better. But the night team? Completely unorganized and uninterested in providing even basic customer service. To make it worse, they seemed more focused on storing luggage for tourists than actually helping paying customers who were trying to eat. It was honestly unbelievable. Overall, I had a horrible experience last night and wouldn't recommend coming here in the evening at all.

    PISTACHIO MATCHA LATTE
    Candice L.

I got the pistachio matcha latte with oat milk and it blew me away. Having had many bad experiences at other cafes where my matcha were either super chalky or tasteless, I didn't have any expectation for what I would be getting at Bobe. To my surprise, the drink was super creamy, smooth, and not too sweet. While the pistachio flavor was bold, it did not overpower the matcha. The two flavors worked very well together and balanced each other out. The only downside was that it was very pricey (about $10), but everything in Miami is expensive. Ambiance wise, the restaurant itself is super cute and cozy with a lot of unique decors. I'd love to come back to try out their pastries and other drinks!

    Sourdough breakfast sandwich

I asked the worker her favorite item so I got the sourdough sandwich as recommended. I'm not picky and will eat anything but this was so foul. Very bland lacked any flavor. I had to add hot sauce to eat it. It also had a black/gray colored sauce?? It looked unappetizing and the cortado that I asked for w caramel syrup had at least four pumps of syrup. I actually think it was just a splash of milk and syrup inside it. I had to throw it away as two sips gave me a headache. Total was $28 an absolute scam. So many Miami breakfast spots only care about aesthetics and not making their food flavorful. Will not be returning

I saw this bakery on yelp and I must say it is exactly how it is posted online. I absolutely loved this place, staff were kind and friendly. Food seemed fresh with a great homely vibe. I ate here twice within my stay in Miami. It is a sit down wherever you like restaurant, with inside or outside seating. The décor is a cute all pink grandma kitchen type of set up. I love that they have a kitchen playset for the kids to be entertained in the back corner. we ordered: -Fresh Orange Juice 10/10- sweet, fresh and yummy -Jerusalem Morning Melt - 10/10 the first order of this sandwich was on a bagel and second was on focaccia bread. I personally prefer the bagel, but both were very yummy. -Avo Toast - 9/10 yummy, perfect for a light breakfast -Filled Croissant (Pistachio) 10/10 not too sweet, but enough to enjoy without having that guilt trip. Perfect crunch to the pastry. -Croissant with turkey- 10/10 my son ate almost the whole pastry which is a really decent size. We did not receive the bill the first time and we were sort of in a rush to leave for our cruise we met at the front desk to pay. All in all it came to $97.. I paid with $120 for bill and tip. My son then decided he wanted a cookie to go. So the gentleman behind the counter did not let us pay for it which I thought was so kind. I enjoyed this place so much that I wanted to visit this place one last time before heading home. I ordered the same exact meal just different bread. My son got to enjoy the kitchen playset while I enjoyed my meal. As checking out I realized they charge gratuity included in the bill regardless of party size and give an option for extra tip. It's hard to read because they do not print out to review and it is on a small machine. I am a little disappointed for them not to make people aware of the automatic gratuity, hence why I gave 3 stars instead of 5. So I basically gave the waitress about a $40 tip the first time (approx. 60% tip)and basically paid for the pastry given to my son. A great place to visit and food was great just pay attention to the bill and hidden charges

We found this place through Bounce, the luggage storage app. We chose it because it's close to Bayside Marketplace, a major tourist spot, and we needed to store our bags for the day. What a great find. When we came back to pick up our bags, we sat and had coffee and split a sandwich. The smoked turkey and pesto sandwich was SO good, and served on focaccia that was as soft as a pillow. Iced vanilla latte was delicious too. The decor is so cute, and the staff were all friendly. We got a 10% discount for using them for Bounce. Will def visit again if I'm in Miami!

The whipped feta dish was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the zucchini chips were perfectly cooked they were light, crisp, and addictive. My daughter ordered the non-alcoholic dragon fruit "martini" and absolutely loved it. It was tropical, refreshing, and felt like a special treat. I went with the white sangria. It tasted a little more watered down than I expected, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable on a warm Miami afternoon. The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the atmosphere alone makes this place worth a stop. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff, Mandolin is a place I'll happily return to the next time I'm in Miami.

I tried the Moroccan Mojito, which was so refreshing. To eat, we tried the Shawarma Sushi and $1 chicken wing. The Shawarma Sushi name can be a bit misleading. It a wrap that was cut in form of sushi. It was good. I was hesitant about ordering chicken wings but I'm so glad we did because they were so delicious and crispy. They may have been the best chicken wing I've had. The service was excellent. I accidentally dropped my cocktail and they immediately cleaned it up and moved us to another clean table. I apologized for dropping it but not once did they made me feel bad about it. Instead, one of the staff stated it was an indication of having a great time. They also replaced my drink at no extra cost. A guy, who I assumed was the manager or owner, also passed by our table and ensured we were enjoying our time. Our server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink that I ordered, but I did not mind it because I actually loved the Moroccan Mojito and instead ordered another one. I also loved how they have copper cups because it makes water taste so much better. Their attention to small details like that makes the difference. We ordered the beef kabobs, which were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the ribeye steak was a major disappointment. For context, I worked in fine dining in New York and Miami for almost 20 years, so I notice the details immediately, hospitality, management presence, the energy of a room. You can usually tell pretty quickly what kind of operation you're dealing with. We were a party of five. I arrived with my four-year-old son and was greeted warmly by the hostess. That warmth ended instantly. Standing directly behind her were two managers in suits blocking the main entrance. Both looked straight at me and my child and said absolutely nothing. No hello, no smile, no acknowledgment. Anyone in hospitality knows that moment sets the tone. As an Arab woman who grew up around a culture where hospitality is everything, it was already a bad sign. We were seated outside and the vibe stayed cold. Unfortunately, the food matched it. We ordered a lot because I genuinely wanted to give the kitchen a fair shot. I grew up eating Lebanese food and what stood out most was the lack of soul. Everything felt flat, like it needed salt, lemon, brightness, that warm Mediterranean seasoning Lebanese food is known for. The tabouli was especially shocking. A $20+ tabouli with no bulgur that was so roughly chopped it was basically whole parsley leaves and slices of onion. Any Lebanese auntie would die at the sight of it. At one point I asked our server if they had harissa or any kind of spicy sauce. She said the only option was Sriracha. In a Lebanese restaurant that charges $18 for a tablespoon of hummus. An Asian chili sauce as the only option. What made it even stranger is that harissa is listed on multiple dishes on the menu, so it clearly exists somewhere in the building. I asked for the Sriracha anyway out of desperation for flavor. It never came. Same with ketchup for my toddler's fries, it took three requests. Throughout the meal I walked around the restaurant several times taking my son to the bathroom, looking around the space, even going upstairs to the lounge. Not a single person acknowledged us. Not a host, not a server, not a manager. The bar is right by the entrance and every time we looked over at the bartender and bar manager, just blank stares. At one point we were clearly standing there confused looking for the bathroom in an empty restaurant and still had to say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" Wild. Later I walked up to the bar myself to ask if they carried mezcal. After dinner I went back to order one. Same energy--zero warmth, zero engagement. And this is with an automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. The mezcal was a $25 two-ounce pour and I still had to ask for an orange slice garnish because no one offered it. Empty bar, two people behind it, and I still had to request it. Also worth noting, our reservation was at 5:45pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Yet I didn't see a single manager walking the floor, greeting tables, or checking on guests. I had talked this place up to my party because I'd been so curious about it for years, and it was honestly a huge letdown. If you know Lebanese food and understand Middle Eastern warmth and hospitality, this probably isn't the place for you. Expect cold, almost nonexistent hospitality and food that feels stripped of the soul that makes Lebanese cuisine special. The space is beautiful. I'll give them that. Everything else felt like a very on-brand Miami disappointment, what happens when you give people a beautiful restaurant, expensive food, automatic gratuity, and no leadership. From the lack of authenticity and attention to detail, it's hard to believe anyone truly Lebanese is behind this operation. If anything, it feels more like a polished money grab. Honestly, it might have been less jarring if they just called themselves "Mediterranean" like so many other places in this city. But if you're going to call yourself a Lebanese restaurant, the culture and hospitality should actually be there.

Meraki is a beautiful restaurant with truly authentic and delicious Greek food! And I'm Greek, so…read moreyou can take my word for it ;) While it may seem slightly off the beaten path right off Flagler, it's very conveniently located by the Knight Center metro stop and a very easy walk from the bridge. Also, the atmosphere they've created both indoors and outdoors really draws you in: beautiful foliage, gorgeous decor, and inviting decor. They play amazing Greek music to set the mood at a very reasonable volume so you can still hear your party. I've been for lunch during Miami spice and recently for dinner. Everything I've had was delicious with tons of flavor and huge portions. Both times I took enough leftovers for another meal! I especially love their zucchini fritters and their spread plate. All their spreads are so fresh and flavorful but their hummus especially was soo good. My husband and I shared the meat platter for two for dinner and enjoyed everything on it - the loukaniko was especially delicious! For dessert, you can't miss the galatoboureko, a sweet custard dessert with the flaky phyllo dough you know and love from baklava. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend for a lunch date or dinner date and it's super versatile: great for friends, families or romantic dates. Don't miss this beautiful restaurant in downtown!

Oh my God where do I start! We had the best date night. This place is so amazing. I went with low…read moreexpectations given my knowledge and experience with mediterranean food in miami: small portions, bland taste. This is completely different and out of this world! The food is super tasty, super fresh, portions are adequate without paying a steep price. The salad: we got a greek salad, it was way bigger than what we expected, the tomatos and feta cheese were delicious and my fiance thought that this was the star dish. Its not your basic salad. The waitress prepared it right infront of us and cut fresh tomatos and veggies on a station. Saganaki: must order, this was my favorite dish. Even though its such a simple ingredient (cheese) the flavor is crazy, they torched it and heated it infront of us and we couldn't stop eating it Souvlaki: the chicken was delicious, we got two full skewers, they serve it with fries and their special sauce which is so delicious! Even the fries were delicious and well seasoned! Octopus: this was mind blowing, especially with the meraki sauce. This is technically an appetizer but feels like a whole dish!! And its only for $24 whereas other places tend to overcharge! We had planned to order more but by that time we were full. The menu is rich and there is still so much to try. We will be heading here more frequently and sharing with you our dishes!! 5 stars well deserved! Instagram: @ri_reviews961
