I visited Bober Tea on Sunday around 3pm and I think it's a great new addition to Cap Hill! The inside of the store is really pink and cute, I love the donut decor and there's ample seating. Workers here are also super friendly! I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with boba and the flavor was just right and the boba was good too! My friend got the Chizu strawberry which has a thicker texture if you like that! Both drinks were ~13 after a 10% student discount (make sure to bring your student ID)! We did have difficulty with the Tap to Pay, but the worker was really helpful in fixing this and answering our questions. They have wifi and play chill music which makes it a nice place to study :)

A great new boba place to try at capital hill! The ambiance is great. I really enjoyed the decorations. There is plenty of seating. I had their donuts and it was pretty good. We got their cookies and cream, strawberry garden, and fruity pebbles. All of them were great but my favorite was cookies and cream! The service here was good. The employees were helpful in answering our questions. Apparently on Tuesday's they have $1 donuts so I'll be coming back for those!

Super cute boba and mochi donut shop in Cap Hill! Spacious shop with tables to sit and hang out. They have a variety of different drinks from fruit tea, milk tea, smoothies to coffee. They also have fun surprise cup with cute boba plush hidden. Prices are typical for Seattle. Mochi donuts were soft and fresh. Love all the different flavors.

Went for their soft opening and had our expectations blown away! The store is very pretty, and there's a lot of tables for groups to sit and enjoy their drinks. They even have games to play as well! The staff were also very kind and friendly! We ordered four drinks and 12 mochi donuts, and they were very quick to make our drinks. We enjoyed all of our drinks and think they offer a good variety of drinks and adjustments. The boba itself is also well made. The cups even come with a cute bear lid! They offer a cup with a surprise toy for an extra $6 as well. The donuts were fresh, crispy and pleasantly light. They lean more on the side of a normal donut than mochi, but they were still very tasty to eat. It's in a cute part of Capitol Hill, so would recommend stopping by!

Great place to get Boba in Capitol Hill. They have a wide selection of milk, tease, fruit, tease, and lattes. They also have delicious donuts. Highly recommend this place and would come back.

We stopped by after Ishoni for dessert I was able to try a sample of a doughnut before purchasing. The dough was very chewy and bouncy and not too oily. I recommend coming here if you're wanting a sweet treat. excuse me I don't wanna talk. Don't post it until we ask first I'm doing that.

We actually went to dinner at the Yakiniku place next door and we saw this beautiful shop! The decorum is perfect for taking amazing selfies. The lighting was wonderful very clean and pristine place . I lived in Japan for three years and always miss the mochi donuts. This was definitely it! The gentleman that was helping us actually lived in Japan and was letting us know that the butterflies on top of the mochi doughnut that I got was actually edible. When you walk in, they are going to be touchscreens on your right you can order at the touchscreen and then scan your card. Then you walk up to the front and he packages them all for you or you can pick which ones you want since we got an assortment. . They have amazing giant bear bubble teas there as well, but we did not get that. I was just craving something sweet. It was amazing service, great atmosphere and delicious donuts!

Came to try their honey jasmine tea but they were out of boba??? Oddly enough. The jasmine tea was refreshing with the passion fruit popping jelly. I also ordered a taro mochi doughnut which was delicious, really fresh. Would recommend this cute place for a quick drink or a hangout with friends. Cute pink decor, donut pillows and comfy seats! The service is a tad bit slow but very friendly and welcoming.

Such a cute new boba store in Cap Hill! They have a nice concept of selling random plushies with drinks. I love that they have games and mochi donuts too. I got Jasmine Milk Tea and a plushie and it was such a fun experience with my friends would definitely come back to try the other drinks.

The boba was really good and so were the mochi donuts! They also have a cool option where you can get a surprise mini plushie keychain that you pull out of the drink cup compartment. The servers were really friendly and kind and it was a super duper cute little spot! They had lots of cute decor and photo ops too. Definitely would come back!

I've seen this place on tiktok and have had it on my list to check out! The inside was super cute and decorated nicely. It's a nice place to sit and relax. My friend and I brought our laptopa to work a little. You order on a kiosk. They even have a student discount id you have a valid student ID. The kiosk was not taking our payment but the employee was able to come over and get it fixed for us. I ordered the strawberry chizu green tea. It had a lot of strawberry flavor and the tea flavor was really yummy. My friend got the jasmine milk tea which also has Avery nice tea flavor. The drinks were not too sweet!

This place is adorable!! :) we had two of their surprises bubble tea and they are adorable. In speaking to the owner, he shared that he personally picks which ones to stock for them and was glad we loved our surprises. We had some bubble tea keychain surprises. He also shared they are having Halloween specials so be sure to come check them out for bogo mochi donuts. The mochidonuts are made fresh in house and they have kiosks ordering system. Place is very much an IG friendly place. I appreciated that staff was friendly and attentive in answering questions we had. They offer mochi donut and bubble tea combos but limited to certain bubble teas for the mochi donuts. I would for sure come back if in the area for the surprise cups! :)

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #118…read more Located across from Westlake Center, this is a full fledged Xing Fu Tang, complete with a bubbling black sugar boba wok and their signature fortune sticks. I especially love the menu towards the rear of the store that depicts all the drinks and whether they contain dairy or tea. Walking in on a Thursday evening right before dinner, it was surprisingly crowded inside. All the seats were taken and there was a small line waiting to order at the kiosk. Luckily the staff is efficient, and I had my drink within a couple of minutes. Taiwan Boba Milk Tea, Large, 25% Sweet, Less Ice ($8.29) - Xing Fu Tang really focuses on two things: black sugar and milk. That focus is evident in this drink, where there's a strong mineral essence from the sugar, and somehow a really strong milkiness (despite being dairy free). The tea? It's an afterthought, with only some flat malty notes to complement the rich and sugary drink. With that being said, the drink is flavorful enough that I don't mind the lack of tea quality at all. Now the sweetness level could use some adjustment - the milk tea by itself is probably good at 25% but with so much of the boba marinade added, it goes up quickly. I might even order 0% next time. In terms of ice, they have less ice as default which I would consider similar to full ice at other boba shops. At least it seems that way since they used large cubed ice in their drinks rather than more typical chipped ice. This drink comes with boba. The boba is clearly homemade, being almost the same texture throughout, and is somewhat lumpy and cuboid in shape rather than perfect spheres. It marinates in the black sugar for a long time, rendering them superbly sweet and sticky. Unfortunately they are there for perhaps too long - at least when I visited, they were near the bottom of the wok. This means the boba is entirely too soft, with a single bite slicing through the sides of the pearl without too much resistance. They also tend to clump up, forming larger conglomerates that get stuck in the boba straw. While there's still somewhat of a bounce, it's noticeably less than perfection. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 I visited again a couple of weeks later for the Oolong Milk Tea, to see if they could eek a little more tea flavor out of another kind of leaf: Heaven Roast Oolong Boba Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice ($8.29) - This tea is a bit more flavorful than the regular milk tea, with a somewhat vegetal and earthy essence that kind of reminds me of Tieguanyin. There's even a slight drying astringency. I forgot to review my notes and ordered this at 50% sweet, which is way, way too sweet for my tastes. I'm definitely going to go with 0% if I visit again. The boba is the same slightly mushy texture as the last visit. At least they are consistent between visits? Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 So overall: the tea that Xing Fu Tang serves is alright, muddled but better quality than a lot of other boba shops. The boba unfortunately is mushy, which I honestly can't say I've seen all that often. I do have to give them props for making their boba in house given how rare it is. Bathrooms - Single unisex room

Because it was hot and sweaty, a big sea of people were waiting both outside and inside this place, and I saw only about 5 or so staff members making all the drinks. There's only two tables and two benches to sit at on the right-hand side of the place; otherwise, the rest of the space is behind the counter where all the drinks are made and the strong aromatic aroma of tea fills the interior. From my visit here, I think you can only place orders either through their lone kiosk to the left-hand side of the entrance near a corner, or by scanning the QR code at the front of the entrance and following prompts on your phone. Staff was too busy making drinks to take orders at the front counter when I was inside. Either way, you have to use the HeyTea app to scan a QR code (on the receipt you get after placing your order) if you want to see an estimate on when your drink(s) will be ready. By the time I signed up for an account and downloaded the app using the slow 5G, my estimated time was 25 minutes; however, the wait for my triple supreme matcha latte (with extra matcha, less sugar and all other things in their recommended settings) ended up being more than 45 minutes as I walked around the perimeter and waited inside and outside this location as well. It was really chaotic trying to get my drink once it was ready; people were cutting in front of me and others to show staff their receipt and pick up their orders even though I was in front of the line. Taste wise though, the matcha is a strong ceremonial blend with grassy tones that actually caught me by surprise. That's because they have a matcha cheese cloud which I thought would have dulled the matcha taste but it didn't! There's also matcha mochi and what tasted like matcha jelly on the bottom which further strengthened the earthy tones. Probably because it was really hot as of this writing, the ice melted much fasted than usual so that's out of this place's control and therefor doesn't detract from my experience itself. Wait here was really long for just one drink but I'm thankful there's something you can use to see when your drinks are ready - in this case, their HeyTea app. I would probably only come back if I was around the area, though wait times for drinks might deter me from doing so altogether.
