Been going to Bobi for years. Had to have some shorts taken in, and she charges $25 each. Her prices are high, but she does good work. Recently, I went in with a pair of shorts and a pair of gym leggings. She was going to charge me $30 to take the shorts in and $50 to alter the waist of the leggings so they don't slide down. I brought vintage Levi's to have the waist taken in. The belt loop was moved and the Levi's leather patch was removed from my jeans! They look awful. They could not find my patch and told me to leave my jeans and they would find it eventually. I told them I lived far away and they didn't care. My other pair of Levi's (brand new with tags on) had the tag made smaller and it was hanging off the jeans. That pair they were able to sew the tag on after I pointed it out. The tailoring was done at the agreed upon time, at the agreed upon price and it was done to the proper measurements. 3 pairs of jean hems. However, when I went to pick them up, this place is SUPER unorganized. There is just stuff everywhere, and there is zero system to it. It took them about 5 minutes just to find my 3 pairs of jeans, and then when they gave them back to me, they just handed them to me in one big ball. I gave them to them folded and recently pressed. For 24 bucks for 3 hems, they should have been neartly folded after a quick steam or iron if necessary, or hung preferably. Now I have to take them home and make them not look like a wad of trash with deeeeeo wrinkles. It's almost like the did the work on Wednesday when I took them in, and left them crumbled up in a ball till Saturday when I picked them up. I would go back because the work was done right, but I would let them know how I expect it to be taken care of. read more

It's typically around $5 for each small job and I've never had issues with their quality of work or turn around time. They usually schedule with you to come back and pick it up within a couple days but they are willing to work with you if you need it sooner.
