Food was delicious! Had the nachos with marinaded steak, the short trib ravioli, Cajun salmon and the carne asada. Nicely decorated. Felt casual but classy at the same time. Our server, Olivia, was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. The only thing that felt a little weird was that there were so many people waiting on us - I counted at least 5 who came by, filled water glasses, brought food, checked on us, etc. We thought maybe our server had left, but then she was back! We came to 603Bistro on a whim, my husband was craving a burger and we found this place. We live in MA and were in NH so we're not familiar with the area. Don't let the plaza fool you, this place is a GEM. The ambiance is lovely, we sat at the bar and had great service. You can tell everything is fresh and made in house. We had the steak bomb spring rolls and they were delicious, my husband also had the wedge salad and was very pleased. We both got burgers with the parm truffle fries - phenomenal! My husband and I went here for my anniversary and everything was amazing! Recently found out I have to eat gluten free (celiac), and honestly don't go to many restaurants anymore. But, this was absolutely amazing! Everything was made separately and from scratch, they had separate fryers for gf foods. I was so happy to finally enjoy a meal out like I used to. We are up in New Hampshire visiting my oldest daughter's family and went to dinner at a great restaurant, Bistro 603, in Amherst, NH. We had two out of our three kids' family with us for dinner which was great. The Bistro was glad to see us and seated us right away. Our waiter, Gavin, who was very helpful with the menu and our special food needs. My youngest daughter has a severe allergic reaction to diary. Gavin said we can meet your needs without any problems. We ordered our drinks and enjoyed each other's company. We didn't order any appetizers, but they had a good selection to choose from on the menu. We ordered beef hamburgers which were cooked to orders and they were delicious! The tacos and salsa were spicy and a good portion. Great tasting. The duck was excellent and the portions were perfect and were cooked to perfection. My daughter her salad and they made sure there was no diary in the dressing. She loved it. My granddaughter has allergies as well so we had to make sure her food had no diary in the pasta and/or sauce. If you are up in southern New Hampshire in the Amherst area, the Bistro 603 is a must stop. The atmosphere is family oriented and friendly. The wait service was excellent. In fact the manager came over to check on both my daughter and granddaughter, who both have allergies. I liked that the manager followed up with us. Everything was great. There are doors to close off the room to eliminate background noise so we can have a good discussion. The service was very good, as usual. Considering there were nearly 25 in our group, that is commendable. The draft list is extensive with many local brews in the offering. I was very happy to have a Wormtown Blizzard of '78- one of my favorite winter brews. This time I had the Cuban Panini which was very good. The accompany fries were very good, as well. Tonight my fiancé and I sat at the bar for a couple of drinks and appetizers. While we've enjoyed dining here in the past, this visit was a miss. One of the bartenders came across as snippy toward her own team and noticeably condescending when guests asked simple menu questions -specifically requesting a new clean menu. The service felt forced and insincere, which took away from what should have been a relaxed experience at the bar. For a chilly fall Friday night, the restaurant had a good crowd. Luckily I had a reservation as it started to pick up once I arrived. The lighting and set up flowed well. They seem to have a few different dining areas. We sat in the main dining area. In hour in, they had live music, which was a nice touch. Our server, Dan was excellent, I highly recommend you ask for his section, very attentive, great service. The food overall was good. Let's start with the steak bomb spring rolls, get them, and ask for extra dipping sauce, thank me later! My friend had the steak frites and said her steak was cooked perfectly but the fries were soggy. My scallop entree was good but my risotto was over cooked. The scallops were cooked to perfection as well as the broccolini. For dessert, I ordered the special orange semolina cake with honey pistachio syrup. It was a large piece of cake served warm with vanilla ice cream but the flavor combos didn't mesh well and the syrup and nuts had a burnt flavor and bad aftertaste, I would not order this again. We went to Nashua since my MIL lives there for mother's day. they have a nice selection for brunch. I had the croissant french toast which I had not seen elsewhere. It was tasty and a nice size portion! My son had pancakes which he liked, but they were strangely thick! I also treated myself to a mimosa which was different (had pineapple and grenadine too). Been here 3 or 4 times and enjoyed my experiences. Today was not good. Arrived at 2:40p, with maybe 10-12 other patrons. We bellied up to the bar & none of the TVs were on/working...should've known that was a bad omen. Bartender was nice enough, kind of taking her time though. Drinks tasted alright. Started with the Steak "bomb" egg rolls (bf's choice for highlight of the meal), they were ok, I felt that they were a in the fryer a bit too long. He got the chicken & sweet cornbread Benedict. Looked awesome on the plate, but one of the eggs was over-poached so the yolk was hard. Runny yolks are key to a good benny! He said the home fries were so cold it was like they "were taken out of the fridge and walked through a warm room". I ordered the seafood paella. Piping hot, but the shrimp was visibly burned on one side & not cooked at all on the other. The charred taste was off-putting. The clams and mussels were both over cooked and dry. We have both been in the biz, so we're not people who send plates back. It was $107 so we did take the leftovers so we could chef 'em up properly at home. To top off the abysmal meal, on my way out I slipped on ice right outside the door, whaled my knee & ripped my favorite jeans :( My bf went back in to tell the "manager". She came outside and fervently scattered salt all over the sidewalk with a half-assed "Sorry about that" over her shoulder. She didn't even ask if I was ok! My boyfriend is ready to call a lawyer. We have tried Bistro 603 a few times. Each time I hope will be better than the last. Sadly this hasn't happened. It was very quiet when we went in. There were 2 other people at the bar. The bartender could not have been less attentive! It was painful to get her attention. So to say the service was awful is understated. Now, let's discuss the prices. Their prices were high from the start but now they are outrageous! 17.00 for a cheeseburger? I spent the rest of the day sick after eating 1/2 of it. Nice weather is here and the patio is open! We came for Saturday brunch and let me tell you how perfect it was! We were the only ones on the patio, our waiter was so nice, not overly attentive but always there when we needed him - and when we told him to surprise us with the drinks, he did a great job choosing our mimosas. Food was very yummy, service was quick (but with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the outdoors!) and I thought the prices were decent. 5 stars, we'll be back! read more

The menu is very gluten-free friendly! My group was impressed with the appetizing choices marked clearly as "AGF," available gluten free. For clarity, this is our third or fourth time dinning here as my daughter and son in law live 1 minute away. We have always enjoyed our experience here but last night was not one of them. The service was excellent. Attentive and on point. The food however was not what we have come to expect I had the paella and it was not great. The shrimp were rubbery and I counted 2 small pieces of chorizo. Shrimp and chorizo are the reason I went with this dish. Our drinks were excellent, I went with the two for one which is a Mezcal and Tequila combo. My wife went the steak frites and it was overcooked to her request. I really don't know what has happened to this place over the last few months. It was always our go to place for a good, fresh and authentic meal. Lately, the staff at the front has been rude and insensitive to issues pertaining to reservations being missed on their end, food issues, etc. Tonight was the final straw. My birthday celebration and I sent my appetizer and meal back. Lovely experience. Ordered a special which was Ruben egg rolls and they were mushy. When we told the server she said it was probably because she let them sit in the kitchen "a while" while she waited for the other appetizers. As a result she told us they would give us two free deserts if we kept them or one if we sent them back?!??! This became Let's Make a Deal; apparently. One of the employees literally was arguing with my daughter on what she could and could not eat. My daughter explained the reason she couldn't eat a meal they messed up. Scallops were over salted and peppered. Dish was send back and nobody said anything to fix the matter. The check was presented to us and the free dessert which we would not have taken anyway was no longer offered. One of the front desk ladies was sitting at a table with patrons instead of trying to save a former regular customer from walking out and never coming back. This place is terrible lately in so many facets and is over priced for the quality or service and the I don't give a darn attitude from the top down. I don't need here for a burger which is the only food worth considering at this point. However, my money doesn't go to a business that doesn't care about their customers but instead cops an attitude when THEY are wrong. Again, bummer of a decline. read more

Got there and they had very loud live music. Sounded great, but would have preferred to have sat outside in the quieter section. They offered us a 30 minute wait to sit outside-naw! So it was our choice to scream through dinner. We had the BEST server, Tyler. He kept checking in on us, could hear us when we spoke, and was super friendly and engaged. He was super attentive and kept us up to date on our order. We ordered the short rib Mac n cheese to start with since my son wanted to try it. It was amazing! Great flavor, great way to start our meal!! The short rib meat was non Existent. Almost licked the plate clean!! We ordered the shrimp and grits (it was outstanding), the short rib tacos (flavorful and delicious), and I ordered the street corn with the steak-medium rare. The steak was cooked perfectly, loved it. The avocado was creamy but the corn was TERRIBLE, I mean Terrible! I usually ask for salt but this didn't need it, it was over salted. I also don't usually say anything, but it was so over salted I had to speak up. Tyler offered to bring me an additional side of corn, which I was excited about but it came out over salted again. Maybe too much tajin?? I was super disappointed because this dish has potential!! Tyler offered to take it off the bill, but I felt bad. He tried so hard, but it was a swing and a miss.
