My prior experience with Bob was fine. However, I left my vehicle this morning knowing it probably wouldn't be tended to today and I was correct. I elected not to have Bob service my vehicle and proceeded to pick it up close to closing hours. To my unfortunate surprise, within an hour of driving my vehicle begins to turn on warning signs that I've never ever seen before (my car is older than my 11 year-old). I proceeded to cautiously drive home despite the warning signs only to break down completely on the freeway unable to turn on my hazard lights. Thankful I have supportive family that came to my rescue as my roadside assistance took over an hour to arrive. Writing this post to be transparent and provide a cautionary warning to others. As stated before my prior experience here was fine but I can't help but feel like my car was sabotaged. Was there a degree of uncertainty caused by the warning signs I failed to ignore--probably as my car was making an abnormal noise since last week (I assumed my catalytic converter was stolen while at work). This is a great shop that you can trust. Bob is an honest mechanic who knows how to take care of your car. Took in my 66 mustang for a V8 swap with some special modifications. We had a few part setbacks due to putting in modern parts but Bob always made it work. He won't rest until the project is done and I'm grateful and happy with the end result. Bob is an amazing and honest mechanic. Last year, he changed my alternator and explained what's the options patiently. I didn't have to come back until this year. I had a flat tire. He directed me to Foster Tires, which is also a good shop. However, the mechanic from there said I would also need wheel alignment but my control arms need to be replaced. I went back to Bob's and I told him that I also needed an oil change and a smog check. After 2 days, he was able to do everything I needed to do for my car. I didn't even have to drive to another shop to do the smog check or come back to the previous shop for the wheel alignment. He is awesome! read more

Great service. Had a leaking solenoid gasket, after calling around and being quoted 400 to 500 for a new solenoid, Bobs reccomendation was the gasket, 200 later, problem solved. Honest people, even asked me to come back in a week so he could take a look at the work(i never did, but i appreciate the thought and keept a close eye on it myself). If my work hours didnt match theirs so exactly, this would be my go to shop. read more

He kept me up to date on the status of my car which i appreciate. I was not left in the dark about anything. worst experience ever i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone (don't come to this place)...i brung my car here due to a check engine light on i thought the shop (hector and bob) would fix my car i was wrong i got my car back in a worst condition not fixed at all check engine light still on i basically paid to get my car back in a worst condition (sad)...as i was driving my car home my car started smoking from underneath the car. all my transmission fluid leaked out come to find out a worker at the shop put zip ties from my transmission lines to the radiator... i'd advise you or anyone to stay far away from this place save yourself some time matter of fact don't waste your time avoid the headache .. there rude and unprofessional..poor customer service read more

I've recently been facing a problem with my Hyundai Elantra stalling intermittently while I'm idling at red lights. The dealership has not been able to find the problem, so I decided to try Bob's Auto Repair. Bob was very easy to schedule with and worked hard to try to locate the issue with my car. He even made some calls to his friends and searched the internet to see if anyone else with Hyundai's was facing the same problem. Unfortunately, we have not been able to determine cause since the issue is intermittent and doesn't seem to occur when it's in for inspection and is not leaving an error code. But I was very appreciative of Bob's inspection and the fact that he didn't even charge me. I was very surprised and grateful for that since I'll still need to keep taking it to the dealerships. I'll be sure to bring my car back here for routine maintenance as the service is excellent. read more

Went because I had a nail in my tire... instead of tryin to sell me a new tire he checked to see if it even punctured the inside and turned out my tire was fine and needed no fixing at all... didn't charge me and just removed the nail!
