Service was amazing. Thank you Kayoko! I read some negatives and wasn't expecting to stop by- but that combo plate was calling my name!! Place was packed - customer was eating alone- asked if I wanted to share a table- sure I will and I'm buying!! Great conversation and Norco folks are just friendly!! The combo plate and strawberry shake was delicious- wanted the hot fudge cake - but a guy needs to know his limitations!!

Nostalgic settings at Nob's Big Boy. They have a large dining room with large booths and a few tables available in the front. I was promptly greeted by Michelle who seem to be running a one man show as the hostess, server and cashier with a genuinely cheerful smile. The southern omelette was very fluffy but a little scarce on the sausage and hash brown filling but was fresh and still tasty. It's a bit pricey but I would gladly pay extra because of the great service from Michelle. She is definitely the 5 star at Bobs Big Boy.

It's been awhile since I've been here. Decided to meet a business associate here for breakfast. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ended up ordering breakfast omelets with a side of baskets gravy and hash browns.

I hadn't been to Bobs big boy in a long time. The menus changed the food was great and the customer service was excellent. We ordered the Bob's big boy cheeseburger with bacon combo and chicken fried steak that came with hashbrowns, eggs, and biscuit with gravy. which was all to our liking. The interior is big with plenty of tables and booths to enjoy your mail. They also have outdoor dining. I won't staying away for so long. We'll be back soon.

This is not the big boy that I remember the hamburger was just OK but the side salad was good. The service was excellent. The decor was excellent the prices I felt we're high for what you got. This owner has a lot of big boy statues, including one on top of the building. I like the western look to big boy and inside this place they do have ice cream shakes and pies if you want a big boy shirt they have a good selection and as I said before service was excellent.

Great nostalgic visit. Clean restaurant with great food selection. Staff is very warm and friendly. Blueberry pancakes were delicious. Can't wait to come back for patty melt, which is an all time favorite of mine. Located in beautiful Norco with plenty of parking and easy roadside access.

We treat ourselves to the Classic restaurant I remember as a child growing up. Now we bring our grandchild. We always get the classic Big Boy Combo, so delicious as I remember as a kid. The Hot Fudge cake brings back memories too. My Grandson got the Banana split & my husband got a chocolate shake. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waiter was amazing too, so nice a courteous I wish I remembered his name, but he gave us privacy, but always made sure we didn't need anything

I can't give an unbiased review. I've loved Bob's Big Boy for 50 years and nothing has made me lose that obsession. Brought my Mom here (after 10 years) to visit the Norco location. It's the typical Bob's site with several Bob's statues and diner vibe inside. Luckily we had Michelle as our server who was a hilarious delight. Had the classic Bob's Big Boy Combo with salad. Salad with bleu cheese obviously. Salad was crispy fresh, with an abundance of cheese, croutons, tomatoes and chunks of cucumbers. It was a tad overdressed but their bleu cheese dressing is worth it. The burger came out fresh, hot and oozing with the best relish I've ever had. The bun was soft, burger patties were cooked to perfection, cheese was slightly melted, lettuce was abundant. Every bite is what I want my heaven to be. The fries were golden brown with deep fried outsides and soft middles, just like a good fry should be. Best part was dipping them in more decadent bleu cheese dressing!!!! As a surprise, we got a birthday hot fudge cake for my mom's birthday. This was soft and spongy, slathered in deep, rich hot fudge. The vanilla scoop wasn't the square pre-formed ice cream I remember, but was a nice complement and balanced the richness of the fudge. A perfect experience from start to finish, great seating, service, food and price!!!!

It's been years since I've been to Bob's. I used to go a few times a year at the Covina and Burbank locations. The quality of the foods has gone done. The burgers were dry crisp and crisp. The French Toast and club sandwiches were burnt. The chili soup was ok, but if Denny can make it better, that said a lot about this. I'm not too impressed. No wonder they are closing locations. The service was good at least. That was what prevented the one star. read more

We've had so many wonderful experiences here lately. You get to sit inside in the cool restaurant which is the best. The service is always amazing! The food is delicious. I highly recommend giving them a try. There isn't many of these left around but they certainly deserve more credit! read more

Maybe some of the worst customer service I have ever had. We had to send back our kids food cause it was made wrong. 20 mins later we walked up to check on it and they had never turned in the order to remake it. Oh and this is after waiting 30mins to get our food too. read more

The food is usually OK I ordered strawberry waffles one day and was shocked because my waffles were all in quarters which I like a waffle on my plate whole. Not that good actually. Service was good. This was during the pandemic so maybe that's why it wasn't that great they didn't have their breakfast bar or anything. But it's convenient. read more

I'm so confused by this place. They were illegally open during the pandemic I know cause I went frequently but now that everything is legally opened again I called to see about their breakfast buffet if it was finally open and they said that they have not been told if they could legally open it yet...... Ummm since when do the laws matter to you??? BTW Golden corral and other buffets are open so I'm not sure what your hold out is?? Shame cause I love coming here oh well off to spend my money where I can read more

Was actually on the way to Farmer Boys and saw Bob's Big Boy from the fwy and just couldn't resist. Stopped in and loved the decor. It reminded me of the good old Bob's Big Boy from childhood but just modernized. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I literally devoured my hot fuge chocolate cake. This location is an hour from where I live and I would do the drive again for some yummy Bob's. The waitress was a sweetheart. Nice and attentive. I was completely stuffed and satisfied, you could roll me out of that joint. read more

Wow. Ordered two of the "planets best burger" first off I never leave reviews good or bad but holy wow... terrible. If I went to the lowest end McDonald's and ordered a quarter pounder and then measured and put 4 times the sauce on it you wouldn't be able to tell McDonald's from this. Buns soggy, fries soggy, burger more pink than I've ever seen on any burger... online menu priced burger at 8$.. I paid about 25$ for two of these meals.. with everything else and my 8$ tip it came out to a little over 50$.. so terrible.. if my daughter wasn't enjoying the chicken tenders I'd already be back there being a huge Karen asking for a refund.. stay away from this menu item and ask for easy/no sauce so you can apply it as you see fit read more

First time there 09/30/21, found a bug on my plate order the lemon pepper filet. Everything was pleasant until I moved the Kale for some reason and i saw a BUG was under it and I see a semi dead bug. Called the sever she's like I'll remove it from your check. (Right thing to do ) But Owner comes and says you were almost done with your plate. I was, the bug was under the kale which I ALWAYS it eat last. So she told me she was going to get only 10% off the check , Which was $5. I didn't think this was fair! It was a disgusting seeing the bug on my plate. I was thankful at the time I didn't get a hamburger.! Can you imagine I would have ate it with out noticing. read more

Having recently moved to Chino, I discovered the Norco Bob's Big Boy was only 6 miles away. How I missed these restaurants that have been slowly disappearing from California! The food was great and portions were surprisingly bigger than I remembered. My favorite Big Boy Combo did not disappoint! Too bad I had no room for a hot fudge cake. Maybe on my next visit I will have a lighter meal, so I can enjoy one. read more

This place used to have exceptional burgers and customer service. Our most recent visit wasn't so welcoming. We got sat far in the back to where the server seemed to have forgotten about us. The server claimed that they didn't have cherry Pepsi when we could clearly see it on the fountains. She came back minutes later realizing that they did have cherry Pepsi. It took forever to receive our food and it tasted less than mediocre. This place used to be a favorite burger joint to go to, but it seemed to have lost its way. We hope they are able to turn their business around and provide an excellent experience like they used to. read more

Were so excited to try it as Bob's was a place we loved as kids. Trust me when I say, if you have fond memories of Bob's Big Boy, do NOT set foot in this place. It was filthy. The vinyl menus were ripped and smelled sour, along with the booths. The walls were dirty, the entire place badly needs painting & that isn't hard. We had really wanted to try it, and sat down and tried to stay, but were so put off by how dirty and run down everything was, & the food didn't look good either- we didn't feel comfortable eating the food. We left without ordering. What a huge bummer!! We were so disappointed. Please Bob's, clean this place up!! read more

It's a classic dinner, large portions. There pallet caters to the majority, which has its place. I would recommend the experience. Personally I'll go back for the milkshakes. Also has friendly staff which is a big plus. read more

Horrible food. The fries tasted horrible and the two people I was with also had nasty fries we all had to stop eating because the taste of the fries were so terrible. We paid $70 for two burgers and fish n chips and none of it was good. We all left feeling disgusting and now I have food poisoning. Never going back. It's been 3 days and my stomach is still messed up. read more

The food was nostalgic for me & totally reminded me of good memories eating at Bob's BB when I was a kid! We loved the barbecue bacon cheddar burger (added grilled mushrooms and garlic mayo) it was delicious! Of course I put the Bob's big boy special salt on the fries- Yum! The Pappy Parker chicken with the gravy and mashed potatoes can't be beat! My mother love the strawberry cheesecake shake and we got a pecan caramel cinnamon roll to take home for breakfast. Will totally eat here anytime we come through this way again. read more

BREAKFAST TIME AFTER A HIKE. We were supposed to go somewhere else but after seeing that Cowboy Bob I very quickly turned my car around. I ordered the Potato Pancake plate which was two eggs, bacon, sausage, and of course potato pancakes. Robin ordered a waffle and we just sorta split the plates together. The pancakes were crispy fried goodness. They did give us sour cream AND apple sauce. I ordered my eggs over easy and they did a wonderful job cooking them. Waffle was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The only bummer was the coffee that tasted like they brewed one bean for 100 gallons of water and our waitress never gave us our check. We're still sitting in the booth waiting for it. A good diner experience! read more

For the ultimate BBB experience..order the classics like the classic bboy burger combo, chili spaghetti, pappy parkers fried chicken, bleu cheese dressing on your salad, bowl of chili with the works and the hot fudge cake. Great service and the kitchen staff was on point. Food was well prepared, fresh and tasted great. I visit horse town usa from Newport beach to get my fix. Well done guys. read more

Bobs big boy is iconic, the food is great as well , the super big boy hamburger with extra red-relish is my go to. A malt shake is really taste be sure to get the shake with malt . The Bob's big boy in norco is the last in the California I'll be back for great food & lots of nostalgia. I highly recommend this place read more

Our food was so disgusting! We were all immediately sick after eating only a few bites....we only ate more than a bite cuz we were starving! We pretty much left our entire plates full and wasted $85 .....I would never eat here again or recommend this place at all! read more

Me & my family were just passing through. I don't normally leave negative reviews. But I was really frustrated with our experience. I got the double decker and my husband got a blue cheese burger. First of all it was somehow 37$ for two meals? The menu stated about 9$ each. We also got two lemonades that tasted like strait syrup.. I could also tell that the fries were not fresh and most definitely reheated. Reminded me of when you attempt to reheat McDonald's fries.. it was so not worth it for the quantity OR quality. Not to mention my burger was tiny and soggy drenched with sauce read more

We absolutely would have noticed if someone had walked off with our order--and so should the staff. It felt more like our order was forgotten or skipped altogether. After bringing it to their attention, they finally made and brought out our food. Unfortunately, the food wasn't worth the wait. The quality was noticeably below other Freddy's locations I've visited, and everything just felt underwhelming. Between the dry burger bowl, bad soda, long wait, and poor handling of our order, this visit missed the mark.

The best time to come is around 11 in the morning or around 2:30 to 3 o'clock otherwise the line could get seriously long if you're doing the drive-through and if you're going inside during prime hours, you might get a little bit stock because the drive-through will temporarily block you from getting out so it takes a few extra minutes to leave so I highly recommend doing the drive-through or having more than enough time to be able to eat inside. The staff are always friendly and you can see how they hustle so I never feel annoyed and they've only ever gotten my order wrong once unfortunately they never answered the phone and it was a drive-through order so there was that one downside but otherwise all of my orders have been super hot and fresh and correct.

Oh no! They have an impressive menu, very diverse. I like that you can order either large sushi rolls, or the smaller, Happy Hour, 5 pc. size so you can try more and not hate yourself as much when you waddle out the door. The rolls are beautifully made, made with very fresh ingredients, the ratio of rice to filling is perfect (i.e. not too much rice), and the rice is nicely flavored. Their tempura has great flavor, the poke salad is outstanding, the miso soup is rich, not watered down, but the biggest "prize" IMHO is the fish collar (kama), either salmon or hamachi. Here is where you separate the men from the boys. They do not sell old kama that has come from a food supplier's bag, frozen. They only use fresh, the same quality as their sushi, because it comes from the same whole fish they have selected to filet for sushi. Taste it and you know you have hit the jackpot. Before they broil it, they simply slather Japanese mayo on it and salt & pepper. There is something about the mayo that makes it sing a whole new tune. The kama is moist, tender, and comes with their tasty, house ponzu sauce. It's a real treat. Bonus points for being very reasonably priced relative to other sushi houses and they tend to be larger as well. To take advantage of the Happy Hour menu, it is available every day of the week. Monday through Thursday until 7pm, Friday through Sunday until 5 pm. It's an abbreviated menu but has great choices, fairly priced. Their service is tops, seating is limited (probably not more than 40), the interior is warm and quaint, and parking is no problem. And don't forget to respond to their friendly farewell with a duplicate, heartfelt "See you tomorrow" as you leave! Enjoy!

I've always loved Bob's ever since my parents took me here as a kid, and my recent visit was just as nostalgic as I remembered. We asked to substitute regular fries for sweet potato fries, which they did. However, when we got the bill there was a $2.69 charge! We were not advised of this extra charge and our fries were substituted not extra. If we have to pay full price for a side, we should receive the amount of fries that should have been included in the meal (Big Boy Comb).
