I loved Big Boys over the years esp for Sunday brunch but this one is basically just OK... not much to call it 'great' I came in after the lunch rush (1:30-2pm'ish) and half the tables needed cleaning off and the ones that had been 'cleaned' were sticky like it had been wiped down with a dirty rag that was also used for washing dishes. Saw you off of the freeway and we had to stop. Excellent service from every single person we came in contact with. If another employee walked by and saw dirty plates on our table they removed them. That alone is an example of a great team oriented restaurant. We ordered multiple items and they were all great. Very clean restaurant. We will come back again, when we are in the area. read more

My daughter & I went there yesterday for breakfast. I only give this place 2 stars because the waitress was very nice... otherwise it's a 1. SO expensive!!! It was $80 for breakfast. Came here the other night to hang out with some friends and family. We asked the owner if we could use one of the closed tables so our group can sit closer together. He said yes and pulled the closed sign off the table. After we sat down this lady came out from nowhere and started to yell, talk down and be little the guy in front of our group and also told us we had to move. We told her that we asked permission to use the table and we where told yes. She said she did not care and we have to move. She keep saying the mandate and the cdc says we can't use the table. Mind you the Mandate also says the dining room / restaurant should be closed and it was not. Even after we moved to a table she allowed us to sit at. She kept coming around and bugging our group. Great food and service. I grew up on Bob's Big Boy burgers. There is another close to where I live but I like this one much better

I've been going to Bob's Big Boy for many years and this was our first time coming to this location in Norco. This Bob's Big Boy is located off the 15fwy and in my personal opinion, they have plenty of parking. Upon going in, we were welcomed and they allow indoor seating (Safety Covid-19 Guidelines) and took us to our seat. Our waitress, Karen was the waitress who waited on us. We ordered a regular Big Boy Combo and a Super Big Boy Combo. Just a heads up, for the combo, it does not come with a salad. If you want a salad, It's $1 extra. At the Burbank and Downey locations, they come with a salad on their combo. So we waited for a bit and our order arrived. I could smell that our order was freshly prepared. We both enjoyed our meal overall, but our waitress did not check on us if we wanted refills on our drinks; we had to ask for them. Lastly, Karen did not offer us if we wanted desert after our meal. Instead she placed the bill on the table. In my experience, whenever I go to a restaurant, the server out of curtesy would ask if I would like dessert. Then the customer can respectfully decline or if up to it would like a dessert. I suggested that we get the Hot Fudge Sundae Cake. That dessert is my favorite and I'm glad we got it. The fudge was delicious and the ice cream, was a perfect compliment. My overall experience was ok and the quality of our food was excellent. But, the customer service that we received not satisfactory. I did speak to the general manager and he did agree that it was not ok for our server to do that. I don't know if she was not having a good day, but we felt like our business was not appreciated. It's the little things that you do as a server, that makes a huge difference to the customer. I'm my personal opinion, I'm not sure I would come to this Bob's Big Boy location for dine in; maybe for Take Out. The food I don't have any problem at all, in fact it's one of my all time favorite places to eat. Just the customer service we received from our server was disappointing. read more

This place always reminds me of my childhood. Even though it's a newer location, it still has the same great burgers and onion rings I remember having as a kid with my family. I came by here the other day, craving the Bob's Classic Burger. My brother and I must think alike because we both ordered the same classic burger combos we enjoyed as kids. Although my burger needed a bit more of the special sauce, I still thought the burger was really good and will remember to ask for extra sauce on my next visit. My brother thoroughly enjoyed his burger as well. My son said his chicken tenders were great. He's a no nonsense kind of guy and thought his simple meal really hit the spot, but I think he may have been saving most of his appetite for that mouthwatering dessert at the end of our meal. My mom said her Fiesta Salad was delicious. Served with grilled chicken, olives, tomato, shredded cheddar cheese, onions, and lettuce in a crisp tortilla shell, this salad was a wonderful, healthy meal. I think the best part of the meal came at the end. My brother ordered a a vanilla milkshake and said it was really great. My son loved the sundae he ordered. I snuck a small bite and thought this dessert was delicious. The warm brownie had vanilla ice cream and was drizzled with tons of chocolate. It was soooo good! The service is always great here as well. Although this location is always busy and the food takes a bit longer to get to us, the entire staff seems friendly and helpful. The Chili Size with spaghetti noodles is my favorite and the garlic bread is good stuff. The menu changed recently and I like the old menu better. Ask for the Blue Cheese Burger "the old way" (3 cheeses, blue cheese dressing and mushrooms). The soup and salad bar is OK...I recommend the Wedding Soup and the Broccoli Cheese Soup. The hot fudge cake is still super. The service is OK but the big negative here is that they do not salt the fries or season the burgers which can leave the food unimpressive. I am a fried chicken lover but the Pappy Parker's Fried Chicken here is terrible. I still eat here at least once every 3 weeks and request seasoned burgers and salted fries. read more

First time coming to this restaurant. It was three kids ranging ages 6-16 and one adult. They did not offer outdoor seating during covid, we were seated indoors but they did o serve social distancing between tables well. We felt that are plates were all of a good size. I grew up by the Bob's in Cerritos. Now it's a Carrows, no comparison, Bobs is and was way better IMO. So many fond memories of this restaurant. I've been to this location a few times coming back from Vegas. Food hasn't changed. Chili spaghetti is my favorite. The staff here are all very friendly and the service is always good. Gotta get the hot fudge cake. So bomb . Just really really good comfort food. If you've never had It I recommend it for sure. I've been to this location several times and mostly the food and service was ok, not outstanding but ok. My order of lumberjack potato pancake with biscuit a gravy. I noticed this wasn't an actual potato pancake, but hash browns on top of the mixture of proteins. Failing the visual presentation, I tasted the mix. I debated whether consuming the mess would be worth the calories. I tasted the biscuit and found it to be stale and dry even with the pastie gravy. Looking around. I read a rather 11"x17" sign prominently displayed at the front door and elsewhere that only service dogs were allowed. The sign pointedly stated support or companion animals were NOT allowed. Shortly after I saw a couple enter the restaurant. The woman was carrying a scruffy little terrier on a dog bed. Choosing not to wait to be seated, the couple walked to a table and seated themselves. I watched as the server took their order, never saying a word about the offending animal. There are some times where pets are t welcome and this was none of them. read more
