I was in Everett for work, so I popped in for a little lunch. The tap beer selection was mostly IPA, which was disappointing, instead I had merlot, which had a good flavor. The server didn't know off hand about the seasonal beer selection, which was odd. My lunch was a bacon burger and side salad. With a full selection of vinaigrettes I chose the champagne and was impressed with the flavor. Whatever they are doing to keep the lettuce fresh is working because the turgor pressure was great! Quick & easy after movie @ Regal. Service quick & not too noisy for the amount of people (packed!) here. I had the Squirrel Sandwich (1/2) & my son had the Turkey Melt (also 1/2). First time coming here...and the last. Burger had melted plastic on the bun and the burger was completely flavorless. Originally ordered Aloha Burger-came with previously frozen patty, canned pineapple, and the lettuce/tomato were on the bottom of the patty, making the lettuce wilted and the tomatoes hot. Tomatoes delivered to the store precut and served soggy. Asked the server to return the burger and ordered a mushroom burger instead. Still extremely disappointed. Mushrooms were also previously frozen and tasted as if they were dropped in the fryer to heat up to order. No salt or seasoning of any kind added to mushrooms, resulting in another bland burger. The fries were over cooked, unseasoned, and cold. Between my girlfriend and I we both had one bite of the fries and didn't touch them for the rest of the meal. My gf ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was also obviously previously frozen. Overall worst burger place I have ever been to. One more thing. The prices online are cheaper than the actual prices on the menu. I recommend fast food over Bob's Burgers any day and I don't even like fast food. read more

I definitely appreciate Carrie's attempt to explain the unfortunate situation. Unfortunately, it's likely that a majority of her patrons have zero clue about this policy. Instead, they are faced with the embarrassment of a bill they weren't expected to pay...or maybe even couldn't afford to pay otherwise. Providing an "fyi" or simply posting some signage would at least show a glimmer of ethical regard toward their customers. Regardless, this has not been our first time using a Visa gift card at a restaurant. Other restaurants would simply allow me to pay the overage with a separate payment method. So disappointed with the dinner and horrible customer service here. My husband and I have gone here many times, and have always been pretty happy with everything. We went last night and ordered 2 of the prime coulotte 9oz steaks ($25 each) and added 3 prawns for each of us. The steaks were ordered medium rare came out well done, and the last shrimp I ate had a really off texture. The shrimp turned in my stomach all night, I ended up being sick 6 hours later. The quality of food aside, If you look at the menu and compare a couple prices - the 12oz New York is $26, and the 12oz New York with 3 prawns is $29. So three prawns added should be an extra 3 dollars. So our Coulotte steaks with prawns added should have been $28 each. When our bill came, the two steaks together were $58 AND they added a $6 "open food" charge. What they did was charge us for the New York and prawns, AND charged us again for the added prawns! We asked for the manager, (I'm not sure how many they have, this one was a younger Indian girl), who proceeded to come to our table to explain the charge. When my husband tried to point out these incorrect charges, and how we were double charged, she wouldn't let him talk, interrupted constantly, and started raising her voice. After her nearly yelling, and being incredibly disrespectful, what it came down to was we told her she could remove the $8 we were overcharged, or that would be the tip. Her response was "well I guess you won't be tipping then, that's your choice" we were appalled, said we would never be back and left. Horrible way to handle it, they lost repeat customers (and our bill was $100) all over $8 that was THEIR mistake. read more

The menu here is super small. No vegetarian salads, and very few options in general. I had the garden burger and my boyfriend had a Cuban sandwich. Mine was mediocre, not a garden burger fan but I don't do meat. Cuban was basically lunchmeat, pickles, and mustard. Soooo much mustard. Like, half the thing was mustard. Service was sub par but I've never had good service here. Regardless off the employees response.. we counted the menu we were served. The menu offered 33 options, mostly burgers (21 burgers) all served with "Savory sauce". This is not variety. Also, the Cuban sandwich did have two meats.. which were basically lunch meat and again... a ton I mustard. The entire sandwich tasted like mustard. Horrendous. Actually, the worst restaurant I've ate at in a very, very long time. I ordered the Southwest Chicken wrap. The tortilla was really old. Im bummed I actually ate some because we all know how tortillas are supposed to FEEL. Soft, foldable, rollable. This tortilla was rock hard all around and about an inch into the tortilla. Peeling off those bits, OK whatever. Eat more. Now im finding that im spitting bits of something out. Its like some of the beans were old and hard and not that chewable. I really wanted to give this place 4 stars, but they just were not worthy. To start off my experience, it was hot and I wanted a to go order. I called 5 times before I received an answer. When The phone call was finally answered, the woman who answered told me that she would "have to get someone to take my order." Why can't everyone take orders??? Especially if you're answering the phone which is the main way people place to-go orders???!! Then I was put on hold for about 4 minutes. The woman who hopped on the phone was super friendly and make sure everything was correct. I asked her if they were busy and she said not at all, so why did nobody answer the phone the first 5 times??? Now the food is pretty expensive. Not super expensive but more than Red Robin. So I was expecting a higher food quality. Well I got my food. I paid $1.50 for a side of bleu cheese dip, so I expected there to be a good amount of it, nope!!! Probably the same amount as if you squeezed out a ketchup packet. I got the bacon burger and my friend got the ranch burger. I asked for bbq sauce, avocado, bleu cheese and cheddar instead of American. Well there was no bbq sauce. There was a weird orange sauce and it was on one side, so the burger was so dry I couldn't even finish it and I threw it away, $20 down the garbage right there. Then my avocado was not ripe, I didn't mind that part though. My fries were awesome !!! Definitely wished I had gotten more bleu cheese dip to enjoy them with. My bacon was also great. Then my patty was also pretty good. Kinda chewy but not too much where I didn't like it. So I was pretty bummed that I couldn't finish it due to it being so dry. Horrible service. I ordered chicken fried steak with no egg. The waitress came back to ask how I liked my eggs, I repeated no eggs, my girl reminded her of the Chicken Fried Steak. My food comes, no damn chicken fried, then she brings it, with no gravy! It wasn't like she left it in the kitchen, she entered the wrong order after 3 discussions what I wanted. She had to be asked for jam for our toast. I ended up eating some sausage, a few bites of greasy hashbrowns. I waited patiently for my chicken fried steak to come, and the no gravy was just crap to say the least. I ended up grabbing a quick burger at Jack in the Box. My first visit to this new location was very impressive. Joined my brother for lunch and he told me he had been a few times already and had the same top notch experience every time. The menu: Great selection of burgers and sandwiches, along with a few entrees and salads. Had a very hard time deciding from all of the delicious looking options. The service: Our waitress was excellent! Very friendly, always one step ahead of our needs, and was very competent when it came to answering questions and taking our orders. The atmosphere: Obviously looks new. This is a brand new building and it would appear that no expense was spared to give a quality experience in a fun and comfortable atmosphere. I've only tried the Sunday Breakfast brunch buffet, and for $11.99 (adult price), it was a good deal if you can eat a lot of food. The made to order omelets was good, and I liked that I could personalize it (mushrooms, green pepper, etc). I thought the country gravy was fantastic, especially over hash browns (did anyone ever think of that one?!). The decor was weird, I felt like it was a Best Western Inn inside but the service staff were very welcoming & attentive. My favorite though was the fresh made mini belgian waffles. Not only were they super cute, but delicious too! Because they were small, I felt obligated to eat more ;). The batter was a right consistency, and I loved the selections of toppings (strawberry, blueberry, blackberry) with whipped cream.There was a selection of ham, sausage, biscuits, fresh cut fruit, and desserts like lemon tart, mini cakes, eclairs, and cobbler. However, I think they missed the mark by not having bacon. Breakfast is bacon. But at least a pig was saved somewhere... read more

I've always had a great experience when enjoying a burger and a brew at Bob's Burgers and Brew. The burgers are huge, always made the way you like them. I always get the bacon cheddar burger with onion rings which is heaven on earth. The bacon is especially good, probably because they also serve breakfast. I'm picky about my clam chowder, but Bob's has a pretty good recipe. Definitely worth trying. Portions are large and the prices reasonable. Definitely a great place for a burger and fries, or in my case, a burger and onion rings. read more

I was hungry for some onion rings, and wanted to check the score on the NFL game, so I swung back into Bob's for a return visit , having been unimpressed on my first visit nearly a year before. Mind you, I drive by this place at least four times a day, five days a week , so stopping by once a year should be telling , along with the two stars. I felt like Bill Murray in the movie Groundhog's Day. Same stunningly beautiful bartender , with a small crowd of men, obviously regulars , seated at the bar, panting for her favors....same slow service, same super-bland burger, same delicious onion rings. Once again, service was slow as the staff chatted with their regulars and each other, it's almost like you have to EARN attentive service there by coming in daily and maybe tipping 50% , I dunno. Or perhaps the trick is to sit at the bar and flirt constantly , not sure. I obviously don't know the secret here, because I waited five minutes for a drink order and menu , ten minutes for a beer, then another five minutes for my food order to be taken. No biggie, but the place wasn't at all "slammed" on a weekday afternoon, in fact, it was kinda dead, especially in the bar. It wasn't BAD service, by any means....just a little slow, and not particularly friendly. Once again, the burger was big, bland, and unseasoned, with shredded bag lettuce......paired with a generous portion of delicious onion rings. Places like Bob's are CRACK for Baby-Boomers..... apparently, they just love huge, $12 burgers , served by cute, flirty girls half their age, so Bob's is often packed . Then again, so is Olive Garden....meaning you can't really chalk it up to good food ,can you ? More like poor taste, in my opinion. But whatever floats yer boat, right ? Bob has hit on some magic formula that really nails a certain demographic, for sure. I figured I'd try this place for lunch since I drive by it all the time and it's always a full parking lot. I expected it to be just like all the other generic chains like Red Robin, Applebee's, Fridays, etc., but it was nice to learn that it's a locally owned Washington restaurant chain. The service was excellent. I went there before the lunch crowd got too busy and the server was overly-attentive. The food was average. I ordered the Bob's "Mega-Monster" 2-patty burger (forget the real name of it). Maybe Bonanza Burger?? along with a side salad. The salad was a huge pile of lettuce and they give you a generous tablespoon of dressing to go with it. The burger was very bland with no flavor at all. It was basically a slab of ground beef smothered with mushrooms and mayonnaise and the bread quickly disintegrated, and I ended up eating the burger with a fork. $26 for a burger and 1 beer was a little pricey. This place would be out of business in a week in the South. People don't tolerate this kind of ripoff for food, but around here it seems acceptable. read more

I went here yesterday to meet with family for dinner. I have been here before, for brunch and for lunch and it was OKAY. Not that great of food. This experience, however, was below average. 1: I ordered a honey mustard chicken burger {per the waiter's recommondation} and it tasted nothing like honey OR mustard, and they were pretty stingy on the sauce. 2: Our waiter forgot to take my 4 year old son's order, so we all recieved our food and our son had to pick off our plates until his arrived. 3: The kid's menue clearly states that each meal comes with ice cream. We had two kids there and neither of them had ice cream brought out to them. 3: My son's and my plate was taken {without asking if we were finished} and they both were full of our fries! Didn't even ask to box them. 4: The waiter never came to check on us to see if we needed anything, or how we were doing. The restaurant wasn't very full, so this is baffling to me. So I wrote my last review here 4 years ago, so it's time to update. I've only eaten at this location once since then, but have come to a couple of conclusions. One is that if you don't like your food cooked over flame (I don't), then Bob's doesn't have much for you on the dinner menu. Basically, a giant baked potato or over-priced appetizers. HOWEVER, the lunch menu has a lot to choose from. I love the turkey dip, The french dip is pretty good too. If I could order off the lunch menu at dinner time I'd up the rating a star. We've always had good service, so no complaints there. We just usually want to eat out for dinner and Bob's doesn't have anything I like at that time so we go elsewhere. I have three children and always show up with their great free and parents and these outings are needy!! This waiter went above and beyond to help me not feel so crazy and that kids happen. What the hell, it's 12:45 on New Year's Eve day we stop for food and drinks...NO ONE IS EATING except for a two tables of two. Hostess tells us it will be 10-15 min wait! Went to Bob's Everett for an impromptu breakfast on Sunday, turns out they have a buffet. Sat in the bar. Nice buffet for 11.00, custom omellettes/eggs, waffles, eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, ham, sausage, and pastries. Pros: quick, easy, starts at 9(get there early) , sports bar, senior discount starts at 55! Decent blood mary. cons: No bacon, pre-made eggs benedict muffin was soggy, waffles were hard to come by(very popular only made 4 at a time), deep fried french toast. Although it is a spin off of the original location, the spirit of the original lives on in this establishment. It can be crowded and a little bit slow outside of rush hours sometimes but in my case this was good because it let me enjoy the meal and the company. The Bob's brew is really good (they are down to one beer at least in this location) and their on tap selection is good. My favorite is the mushroom burger with the jo-jo's and they never disappoint! The salads and wraps are very good too. If you can, try the kielbasa. So worth it! read more

Every time I order a drink seems she don't want to do it. And,I order mango Margarita. I didn't even taste any mango. Its all lemon. But the,nacho was good. No complain w the food at all. Bob's Burgers is just barely above average, hence three stars. I have trouble rating it. The service is friendly and nice, and some items of food are 5-stars (like the strawberry lemonade... It is SO good!). But the pairings and portions of food are often awkward, too. The seating is weirdly lacking in privacy anywhere you go. As an introvert, it just always feels like the way that sound carries, the height of the walls, and the overall layout makes you feel more exposed than is typical in any restaurant setting that isn't a fast food chain. It is a decent place to bring kids/babies. It is NOT romantic at all if you are going for that kind of ambiance; good place for friends or a casual chat. I have been eating here for years, and I have put off rating because parts of the experience are 5 stars to me, and others are just meh. I dislike giving a 3-star rating, but that's the average feeling I have about the place, so that's where I am settling. read more

We are so pleased with how wonderful our party was at the Everett Bob's Burgers and Brew. They have a nice big room with a southern exposure that holds 50 people. Beforehand, we were allowed to decorate the room with banners, balloons, and colorful birthday table cloths, which we brought with us. We were also allowed to bring in a birthday cake with candles and birthday napkins. It only took us 30 minutes to get everything arranged. The staff set the tables and provided a good size knife to cut the cake, along with plates and forks. They were so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Our party was held during Sunday brunch, which made it easy for everyone to choose what they wanted from the buffet, which has a wonderful selection of items, including a variety of potatoes, sausage, bacon, eggs Benedict, small round Belgium waffles (strawberry sauce and blueberries were available to put on top along with whipped topping), and more. They also make omelettes cooked to your precise order. Everything was fresh and attractively laid out. It was very easy for us to get to the buffet from our party room. Everything was clearly visible. Everyone could easily move around the party room and the restaurant. The servers placed filled water glasses on the tables right from the start. Then they checked individual beverage requests. They also cleared away the dishes as the guests finished their meals. It was a smooth and enjoyable process. We all had a great time. Being in the party room, everyone felt very comfortable to make presentations, take pictures, converse, and move around at will. Afterwards, paying the bill was smooth, and accurate with a 20% tip added in. It could not have gone any better. We were very pleased. read more
