Ordered here multiple times. Every single time there is something wrong. First time was a panini and they forgot the dip. Next it was delivery and they didn't bring the soda. Now I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Guess what was missing, THE BACON. I will say this though, whenever I had an issue and I brought it up they promptly fixed it. I am actually tired of having issues though. I get my food I go home and there's always something wrong. I don't want to keep having to go back to the same place just for them to fix something they should've gotten right the first time. I mean really, how fricken hard is it to get an order right. The employees who work the counter are useless. My last order went through twice. I called to ask if they can refund the order or give me credit for a meal that was the same price for later on. The employee didn't even know how to refund an order. Sadly once I get the refund I won't be doing any business with the corner deli. It has only brought me trouble. Edit: never got my refund. Shot me right back to my child hood hoagie spot (that is still in business and makes great hoagies)! Great great basics. Just ordered from here for the first time. Not very impressed. The bacon on my burger was raw and my husbands burger was barely cooked. We did order for two other people and their food was fine. All that being said...I would would give it another shot and try something else. The food was not bad just undercooked so if that really bothers you...make sure you let them know. read more

I ordered from Bob's Deli for the first & last time. I ordered on the phone. They said pick up in 30 more minutes. I get there & it's a little hole in the wall place. Nothing fancy! Literally a corner store. It' has retail section for food & a deli in the corner. I walk in, go to the deli where there is a lady & man working the deli. I stood at the deli & no one acknowledged my presence, not a "Hello!" or "Can I help you?". The man had finished packing a sandwich put it on the counter & yelled out someone's name. Then he turned around as if I didn't exist. I finally said " pick up for _____". The lady behind the counter then begins looking around & there is a bag of food on the counter & she picks it up & slams it in the counter & says "Have a nice Day"! I then say "No Hello or welcome to Bob's Deli.". Then she says something & I respond in a nasty way. She says something about being my last time ordering from there. I respond you best believe it is my first & last time.". I'm big on customer service. They definitely lack customer service. Why would I patronize an establishment that doesn't make their customers feel welcoming? I work to hard for my money to give it a place like Bob's. Started going to this place about 20 years ago after a friend from Florence told me about it. The food has always been great, but yesterday was different. I ordered a 10" American Hoagie with Mayo and oregano. I was told I would have to wait about 30 minutes for my food, so I decided to wait. I got my food and went home to Mount Holly to eat my lunch. I open the hoagie up to find no mayo and it was soaked with oil and vinegar. While the sandwich was okay, it wasn't what I ordered. I would Love to update this review with a 5 star review, but Bob's is going to have to step up their game. As Jersey delis go, Bob's Corner is a stud muffin! It sits on the point (corner) of Delaware Avenue just west of Rt. 130, the first floor of a converted early 20th Century home. Simple sign across the front steps, and small parking lot in back. There is barely room to turn around inside, but it is so well organized that it probably has everything you want for a solid take away breakfast and lunch. The folks there are friendly and willing to chat while they do your bidding or take your cash. I stopped in for a quick caffeine jolt. I wasn't hungry, but the aroma from the grill, and the sweet temptations from the muffin/donut display sure had my attention. Immediate mental note to come back with some room in the belly. The java was tasty and fresh, and the small cup a buck and a quarter. Hard to beat. Roebling itself is a cool former company steel town that has had its own boom and bust cycle. Now, it is a charming Delaware River burg that you have to have a reason to know about. Mine? Mid morning cruise back to the office from Mt. Holly on an uber hot Friday in late July. Florence/Roebling staple for many years. Changed hands a few times but still great food. Cheese steaks and wings are tasty.

Overpriced, substandard food! Major problems with keeping the order straight. Some of the workers are incapable of reading scale when slicing lunch meat. Bobs deli used to be a decent place a few years back but consistently continues to get worse. I won't ever be ordering from Bob's Deli again. read more

Got there at 6:10 and the 3 staff members seemed very disorganized and slowly gathering food for people's orders. Finally got my food at 6:30 and when I asked what took so long, I was told that a pre-order online did not guarantee my food would be ready at that time. Just a few days ago I received a new menu for Bobs in the mail, with new coupons that are valid until December 31st 2021. When I called to place an order they said "we're not accepting coupons anymore". So I then told the person on the phone about how I just got the menu in the mail a few days ago, and the coupons hadn't expired yet, but the person on the phone wouldn't budge. This is my favourite sub place in Florence. They aren't superfast with the orders, you usually have to wait a few minutes for your order, but they make up for it with quality and portion size. The Bob's South Philly is a quality sandwich and my go to order. If you are in the mood for something a little different, try their wings. read more

It's your average deli, they have the basic things most do. The food is good, they are slow even if you call your order in you will still have to stand there and wait and a lot of the time the staff is rude. If you're hungry and in florence there are not many food options so worth a try. read more

We have been going here for years. Unfortunately, it is under new management, and the sandwiches and service are not what it used to be. They were short on the phone, and the sandwiches are literally half of what they used to be. I ordered a pork roll, egg and cheese, plenty of eggs but one measly slice of pork roll. I couldn't even taste the pork roll. Everyone's sandwich, except for my husband's scrapple, egg and cheese, were nowhere near the quality and quantity always expected from Bob's. I've been going there for a number of years and let me tell you that you won't be disappointed. The staff is friendly, the deli sandwiches are great and packed full of meat. They will accommodate your take out requests like putting things on the side without any issue. I have even had them make a sandwich that was not on the menu, just ask. The steak sandwiches are fantastic and the rolls are the best. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food given. You can even pick up a Lottery ticket while waiting. It's not an eat in facility - it's just a well run local deli with great food, coffee, etc. No sense packing lunch when you can buy it at these prices.
