After having to clear our access road of three large windfalls in the past two rainy seasons, we decided to get proactive. After consulting with two other reputable tree removal services, we hired Bob (from Bob's Property Solutions) to remove twenty large, 70+ year old alder trees that were overhanging and endangering two homes, as well as to take down ten large, overhanging trees that were endangering the road access. From the time Bob stepped onto the property we knew we were in good hands. Access to the site is difficult; the road and hillsides are steep; and part of the site is within sensitive shoreline and stream areas. Bob was knowledgeable about both the technical aspects of tree removal as well as meeting county requirements in the buffer zones. His equipment was perfect for the job; his coworker was highly skilled; and his concern for safety was reassuring as we watched him deftly navigate the tight quarters around the homes. He worked amiably with the neighbors, who needed him to move equipment from time to time in order to get through. Once on the job, he worked straight through for days to finish up, was very responsive to minor course changes, and he left the site clean at the end of each day. All in all, it was a pleasure to work with Bob. He said what he'd do, and he did what he said. Very satisfying. Bob has been a great asset to building my new home. I'm TOTALY AMAZED with the speed in which he completes his work and his attention to detail!! The little house was gone in a day and a half. He told us that it would probably take 5 days to take the trees down at $3500 per day. He was done a day early. This guy is and expert tree climber as well as an operator. It is a mazing to watch him feed a large chipper with an excavator. He had a log truck come pick the logs and we keep all the money from the logs. He used an end dump to haul out the stumps and brush. He brought out a portable welder to weld a heavy swinging gate up to keep out trespassers. He dug our utility trenches, and then used a his bull dozer to build our driveway to the new house. Then Bob dug out our basement in one day with his 120 excavator. He has various packers for compaction. This guy has all the equipment to get the job done. I can honestly say, even though Bob charges more up front, I can see the savings in the end. The best part is I don't feel like I need to baby sit like I do with other contractors. We will continue to use Bob. read more

We had Bob out a year ago In which was prompt in coming out to give us a bid on a couple of trees. He was very thorough in explaining things. He came back a few days later and did a great job! He had to work around some pretty tight spaces to include downing half of a tree that was hanging over our fence, which was right next to a little playhouse. Not once did anything touch either of them. They cut up the wood from two trees and moved it all to one location for us. He ground up our stumps as we requested and left no mess. We would definitely have him back again. Just had him back again this year! Came out for a bid, came back two days later with his crew in the pouring down rain, removed two huge trees and trimmed two others, then ground a stump! Cut tree into logs and even stacked them! We decided to hire Bob based on his YELP reviews and never regretted it. We had two large (and very dead) trees that required the assistance of a crane because they were so difficult to get to. Bob did the job when he said he would and not only removed the two trees we paid for but took down another he felt needed removing. That last tree he did at no cost to us and removed it because he felt it could create a problem in the future. My experience with contractors has not always been the best. Bob gave me a bid and it was exactly what he bid with no forgotten extras. He showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule. Bob took down 3 fir trees that were close to my house and neighbors house. It was a difficult job since there was no room to drop the branches and the trees were about 120-150ft tall. I was amazed at his expertise lowering limbs and rounds one at a time to avoid any damage. The price was well worth the dangerous work and all the equipment he utilize. Called Bob due to all the good reviews I read while researching for someone to remove 4 unwanted trees. Within a couple hours of requesting a estimate Bob called me to schedule a time. He came out and talked to me about the job and asked when I wanted the tress removed. Within 24 hours he was back with his crew and they went to work. I decided to leave while they worked and when I returned a few hours later the job was done and the area was all raked up and clean. Very professional and willing to work with you in anyway possible. Bob was recommended to me by my neighbor. A big old dead maple of ours had fallen onto his property, damaged his fence, and made a mess. Bob came out the next day and gave us a reasonable estimate.
