We have been customers since around 1989. I can not recommend this place more. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Bob's son Barry always goes the extra mile to find what you need, suggest a cheaper alternative and explain why you might need this or that, to make your tires last longer. They call back and make space in the schedule on short notice. You will not get better service anywhere else in Nashua. We needed odd tires for boat trailers and Barry found what we needed and maximized our budget to get what we needed. I've also had to call them on the day before Thanksgiving and had Barry rummage around in his warehouse to find what I needed. Most other vendors I've dealt with wouldn't have even been open. Great service at a reasonable cost. Family owned. Experienced long time employees. Have gone to them several times and have always been well taken care of. My sister has as well. Just got an alignment and sticker yesterday. Joshua took the time needed to do it right, even when things didn't go easily. I purchased a new set of tires from Bob and his family in December of 2014. As my previous review indicates, it was nothing less than a very pleasant experience. In June of 2015 I was driving through a rather messy construction zone and tore the sidewall of my nice new right rear tire. I limped my way over to Bob's and he slapped on a new tire for me in no time. The extra road hazard insurance I bought in December was well worth it! Back in May I finally realized I was way overdue for a state inspection. I foolishly took my car to Midas only because I happened to have a coupon. They quoted me a ridiculous price for front brakes and lost my registration. I got myself a new registration and went back to Bob. His team installed a high quality set of ceramic front brake pads, replaced my windshield wipers, and gave me a new sticker for significantly less than what Midas quoted. Being a small business owner I was taught even before purchasing my business that you treat your friends and customers like family. Be honest and upfront with those people. And that is exactly what the crew at Bob's Tire does. My office is located directly across from Bob's and I had been driving by there for over 15 years without ever thinking of having my company vehicle serviced there. Until my brakes needed repair. The local Chevrolet dealer wanted over $1000! When I told a friend of mine who works in the office building with me about the ridiculous price Chevrolet wanted he recommended Bob's Tire. He told me that's the only service facility he brings all his vehicles to. So I decided to give them a try. WOW!! I couldn't believe it. For around $300 they replaced the brakes & rotors and that included the labor! Why did I wait so long to go there? They only replace what is needed and it is done right the first time. Now Bob's is the only place I bring my vehicle to for all its service needs. Honest, quality, friendly service. That's what makes Bob's Tire stand out from other repair facilities. I don't typically write reviews, but I have to publicly thank Barry and his team for their extraordinary efforts in helping me with my Subaru. I bring my car to Bob's because their prices are very fair and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I trust they will do a good job and give me an honest assessment of work. My most recent visit was the most challenging because my car presented a problem that was not easily solved. Barry and his team were so patient and went above and beyond to help find the cause and facilitate the repairs. I have never had any company do as much to help me to the level that Barry has and I am now the most loyal customer for life!!! I am so excited to have my car back and running better than ever!! I've gone to Bob's forever. You could see my entire automotive history just from their files. The only repairs I've ever had done somewhere else was when I lived in Indiana. (It was a bit far for AAA to tow me there). They have the perfect balance of service. If they say you need something, you really need it. But they don't just do a slap patch (just to have it be cheap but break again a week later) If you want a family owned business to look after your car, go here! read more

As it seems Bob's only receives 1 review on average a year, it's too bad we have to be the first to leave a negative one, but our experience was nothing short of horrendous in our opinions. We've purchased tires here twice now, most recently last May and had had a decent enough experience until now. While their prices are great and they boast about their old school balancing methods, we'll no longer give them our business or recommend them as we have in the past. As I mentioned, we purchased tires (2) back in May and purchased, as we have in the past, the additional warranty they push verbally when you check out. Less than a year later we noticed really bag shaking while driving and the dealership noticed something funky with our tires when we brought it in (we always have the dealership do our work aside from purchasing tires as we have a newer car). They ran some extensive diagnostics and found that both tires (one more than the other) were super egg shaped. We went back to Bob's with our super detailed, diagram and image filled paperwork in-hand (which they quickly told us they wouldn't even look at because it didn't come from them), proceeded to try for over an hour to balance our tires, then told us one tire was basically fine and the second was a bit odd shaped. They argued a bit about replacing both (we have awd, you can't just replace 1 tire EVER and both tires had a defect anyway) and then they finally agreed to get replacements for both and replace them within a couple days. Went in today (Friday) to get them replaced and suddenly were told there would be a $100 fee because "the tires were a bit worn". Well yes, they're nearly a year old and we do tend to actually drive our car, but they're still covered by your warranty/manufacturer's warranty, which never mentioned prorated fees for replacing them once you drove off the lot with them. Generally when you have tires put on your car you're going to drive on them and a manufacturer's defect has nothing to do with use. They then tried to argue we should have brought our car back right after they mounted them. We told them exactly what our dealership told us, that issues like this tend to present themselves over time. We brought our car into the dealership the moment we noticed the shaking, turns out it wasn't our alignment, it was egg shaped tires! My husband was there for a long time while they argued this, made a few phone calls and finally said they'd give us the tires since they WERE covered (finally!) but we'd have to pay for mounting and balance since Goodyear/Dunlop wouldn't cover this--apparently they don't stand behind their products enough to offer this service when there is a defect? My husband told them we'd take the tires and have our dealership do it, so now he's had to spend over an hour at Bob's, drive to the dealership (who graciously mounted and balanced them for us for free because they were super sympathetic that we ended up with defective tires and we're regulars), then drive BACK to Bob's to give them the defective tires next Monday when they're open next so they can get reimbursed... If I'd had my way they'd have to go pick them up from our dealership themselves on their dime to make up for some of this headache, wasted gas and wasted time away from work, but what can you do? Needless to say, this entire thing could have been avoided if they'd simply stood behind the products they used and replaced them without the arguments and general run-around. They also could have been upfront with us when we were there last time about the fact they'd charge us $100 for the replacement--which they NEVER mentioned. Yes, if you're looking for cheap tires they offer good prices--no denying that. And sadly before now, we found them a bit slow, but decent otherwise. However, we've always found having our dealership balance our tires resulted in a better ride than Bob's anyway and clearly they don't want to actually stand behind what they sell so ... why risk dealing with something like this? read more

I discovered Bob's when my company moved to that area of town a few years ago. Both my company and my family bring their vehicles to Bob's. It is a family-owned and operated business. I have found them to be extremely fair and honest with good prices, great hours and great service. They don't try to sell you what you don't need either.
