Highway robbery is probably the best description of this location. Don't be fooled by a nice waiting room and old reviews. I believe they find one legitimate issue with the car and add on others. Came here for a state inspection and left with a bill for a recommended repair of 3200 or 2500 at minimum for the car to pass. Failed the car for a rear brake light (perfectly functional), front lower ball joint movement (no movement found by two other shops), and rear brakes that did need replacement. Additionally they recommended replacing the struts, engine belt, and transmission service (had that done 3 months prior). Quoted me 2x the cost of parts and labor and wouldn't give me a bill for parts and labor. Took the car out of state for rear brakes, rotors, and calipers. Got my state inspection at another shop and again they did not find any issue with the brake light or ball joints. read more

Our family has had the best experiences at Matrix Autoworks. This includes visits from me, my husband, and son. Always pleasant, clear and accommodating. We've went to them for tires, state inspections and diagnostics to figure out the problem. We feel they are friendly, fair, and our first 'go to' autoworks if we need help. read more

My car broke down over a weekend, and I wasn't sure where to bring it for service in Nashua. I found Matrix Autoworks online, and was able to make an appointment directly on their website for Monday morning. Their site indicates that you can drop your car off 24 hours before the appointment, so I had my car towed to their lot on Sunday. I received call from Matrix first thing on Monday morning (I believe from Thomas). He said that they already had the opportunity to take a look at the car. They discovered that the issue was with a snapped axle (it wasn't the transmission, which I was concerned about). I authorized them to complete the repair. At 10:27am, they called me back to let me know that the repair was completed, and I could come pick it up. I found the price to be incredibly reasonable. When I arrived to pick up my car, I was greeted by name by two different employees by name. They were very friendly, I paid for the service and went on my way. Considering my car troubles happened over the weekend, I was so impressed that I was able to easily make an appointment online for Monday, I was able to drop my car off the day before, and the car was fully serviced and ready to pick up Monday morning, at a price that I found very reasonable. Having my car repaired so quickly was a huge relief, and the car is running perfectly. I had not used Matrix Autoworks before this issue, but I will certainly use them moving forward after my positive experience. read more

Edit: 8/19/2022 If you receive a flyer in the mail from Matrix Autoworks, and for some strange reason it has someone else's name on it, that's because this "local" shop is buying mailing lists. This is a practice that is usually indicative of a company or business that DOES NOT have the best interest of their customers in mind. It is quite obvious that this company is just looking for quantity, over providing quality. BEWARE OF BUSINESSES BUYING MAILING LISTS. STAY AWAY! It's hard enough to find a mechanic that you can trust will not rip you off. It's another thing to have to worry about your car being used to run errands (by the owner), and left unattended as if it were his own. Complete disregard for MY property. I am still trying to figure out if anything is missing. It is very unfortunate when you try to give a locally owned shop your business, only to find out that the owner Arthur Manzira (seen in photo) is completely unethical, and unprofessional. This "man" was observed not only running errands with my car but left it sitting unattended in a Walgreen's parking lot, with the windows down for at least 20 minutes (that I personally witnessed). When I confronted Arthur Manzira (inside of the Walgreens), he not only played stupid (Which car?), he tried to give me numerous excuses as to why he thought this to be an acceptable practice. As a small business owner, myself, I am positive that this is not the behavior becoming of a business, and especially not a business owner. The sad part is that I was genuinely looking for a good local shop that treated my car as their own...just not to that extent. I was driving to work- engine light came on. I was near Matrix Autoworks and pulled in for a test. They scanned the codes for NO charge~ and then corrected the problem with a few quarts of tranny fluid. which Saved my van, I'm sure! I am so THankful! These guys were super-nice and sooo helpful. This place is amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, patient and HONEST. From start to finish. Christina when I showed up greeted me with a smile and explained everything in detail and got my truck right up on the lift (even though I was a bit early) They got me in same day and fixed everything I asked them to. I seriously don't normally write reviews but watching the conversation that I am currently watching I pulled my phone out and started writing. I am listening to Arther explain what is wrong with this guys vehicle VERY clearly and patiently. (Even though he's not listening) The guy can't seem understand what is wrong and is clearly trying to blame them for the issue. I don't have a dog in the fight but I do understand exactly what is wrong with the guys vehicle. Arther is not lying to him if the guy listened it would be fixed and he would have his sticker. From the sounds of it this is not the first time he has been into try to get his sticker and if he would have listened the first time it it would have saved him ALOT of money. What I am witnessing is AMAZING Costomer service and way above and beyond what he needs to do. You can tell he is genuinely TRYING to help the guy and SAVE him money but the guy is not hearing it he is trying to blame them and recoup money from the mistakes he made trying to do it himself. If you are looking for a shop give these guys a try. Brought my car to have 4 tires mounted and to have an alignment done. Rick Muchata worked on it, damaged all 4 wheels and managed to dent the rocker panel. I tried to make contact with no response, I'd never have them work on another one of my vehicles again. read more

Earlier this week I called late in the morning to see if I could schedule a state inspection for my Ford truck before the end of the week. I was told that they do the inspection that same afternoon and could pretty much pick my time. I arrived at 4:30 PM for my appointment and the vehicle was taken in within just a few minutes. Shortly thereafter they came and told me that my front brakes would not pass inspection and gave (not a surprise based on the mileage and trailer that I tow). I assumed I would need to schedule the followup service but Arthur, the owner, said he could have rotors and pads on site with a quick call if I wanted to wait. The parts were delivered in about 10 minutes and I was driving out with my new brakes and state inspection completed in under an hour from when he said I needed the repair. I am thrilled with the service provided. While the work was being done, there were a couple others waiting for their repairs as well. I made a comment about the quality of their services and the other 2 chimed in immediately saying that they too were thrilled to have found Matrix. One of the others waiting was a mechanic himself at a local dealership. He said he could do the work himself on his car but that the people at Matrix were so fast, efficient and reasonably priced that he typically brings his car to Matrix for the work! That is quite a testimonial in itself! Today, I got a follow up text message from Arthur asking me if everything was done to my satisfaction and to ensure everything was OK. This was not a typical automated survey but a personal message reaching out to confirm everything was OK. This is where I will be taking my vehicles for all their service needs. read more

I went in for an inspection sticker this past week. Last year I went for a a sticker, I got one without a problem. This year , I went in and was told I needed a cabin filter. They charge me 90.00 for the cabin filter with labor. On top of that, they said I needed a pair of rotors for my rear brakes. First off , the car received new rotors less than 18 months ago. I was told it would be 300.00 installed. I was hesitant, because I knew that my rotors came with a two year warranty. So I went back to Auto Zone to confirm when I purchased them, January 2020 just as I recalled. The guy from Auto Zone looked at the rotors , felt them and said they still had 80% life on them. I then went to two other mechanics who said the the same thing and that the rotors were fine. Stay away from them. They were attempting to price gouge me TWICE. Highly dishonest business practice. I highly Recommend you DO NOT go to Matrix Autoworks on Main St in Nashua, NH. If I could have given half a star I would have done so fort. read more
