I brought my car in for a winter tire change, and the manager refused to swap the tires because of an alternate tire size that is 0.61 inches taller. If you use a different tire size for lift or lowering, do not go to this place. I won't bring any of the three vehicles I have to them again. read more

I don't often leave reviews but I would not recommend this place to anyone! The service is horribl. I spent 1300 on new tires and have been back four times with several issues and little resolve. Simple things like not checking for an air pressure leak when the tire is visibly low... they continue to blame the TPS. I will never return nor will friends and family. read more

There was a mix up at the Salem NH store, my tires were supposed to be delivered by 11 from this Nashua store. After waiting 2 hours in Salem, the sales guy finally told me they didn't have the tires. I asked him to contact Nashua and I would go there instead. Mitchel and the guys in Nashua found time to fit me in to get 4 tires, TPMS sensors and an Alignment. Yet I just had inspection done by my mechanic and I asked them if I needed new tires and my mechanic said no. I trust my mechanic that my family has been using for over 20 years over the staff here. Worst place you will ever experience. We had an appointment for a tire rotation in the morning, we had to wait till 8pm for it to be worked on and finished. We found out a couple of weeks later when getting the brakes done they were in such a rush they crossed threaded a couple of our studs. Now we have to get a plug done and was told they cant patch for another 2 days. This store is a complete joke, I would stay far away from it. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I made an appointment to have two new tires installed in my 2021 Honda Civic. it needed four tires but I could only afford two at the time. I asked them to put the two new tires on the front of the car since it's front wheel drive, and they refused. They installed one on the front and one on the back on the passenger side, ( which is unheard of ) and was still going to try and charge me for a front alignment with one bald tire. I had to go home and change the tires myself to put both on the front. The technician I dealt with was Jeff and he was very rude. He refused to do what I asked him to do. I would have cancelled the order but they charged me before they even started. I'm still waiting for my card to be refunded my alignment $$ it's a shame cause I have multiple cars and my kids do also and we will Never go there again read more

I have been buying tires from Town Fair for 15+ years now. Probably a new set every 2 years. To put it plainly, they are the best. My most recent purchase, Jonas took excellent care to get the tires I wanted ordered and communicate a good day to schedule for install. Don't be lured in by offer of free tire rotations for the life of the tire unless you have 2 hours available each appt to wait around. I called and made an appt for a specific time and was told to plan for 90 minutes. I did that but arrival to the DW Highway location was told to plan on 2 "up to" 2 hours. What good is an appt if you're then expected to wait around while everyone else in their waiting area is dealt with first? This place is a joke and the few dollars you may save on initial tire purchase is NOT worth the wait the dealer expects you to take every tire rotation. ie; 50K mile tire = 2 hours times 10 rotations. I made a 9am appointment for a new set of tires and arrived just after 8:50 am. The person at the counter indicated it would likely take between an hour and 1.5 hours. I left and returned an hour and 20 minutes later to find that they had not even moved my car from the parking spot to begin the work. It was after 11:20 before they were done, and they were not the least bit apologetic that my 9am appointment had turned into a 2.5 hour ordeal. What is the point of an appointment system if by 9am they are already 1.5 hours behind but apparently don't know it (or at least didn't feel the need to tell me). They get a second star because they eventually installed the tires I ordered at the price I expected but I wouldn't come back. read more

My previous review was right after I left the store ...and I was fuming. The store made the situation right and called me 30-60 minutes after I left the store. They offered to replace all 4 tires for the price of two (my orig purchase). After coming into the store everyone was friendly and knew me (kind of bugged me out but ok). The store employee even took the time to provide me a rebate form and show me my rim was cracked. Totally different attitude from my prior visit. I felt the store employees went out of their way to give me proper attention. Since I had a cracked rim I had to come back another time with a good rim (which I had in my other home). Due to Friday + Columbus Day traffic I couldn't make it into the store and they squeezed me in on a Saturday (even though there are no available appointments). Oddly enough everyone behind the desk knew me and my car ....still trying to figure out how. I'm glad to give 5 stars and still amazed how things turned around. Never pressurized my tires, and other issues. I chose to try this Town Fair Tire location based on its high reviews, but unfortunately my experience here was awful and I don't think I'll ever be back again. I took in my car to get a full set of four new tires and a complete alignment done. My first problem was when they called me within only half an hour of dropping the car off to let me know everything was finished. But when I went to pick the car up the old tires were still on it. The gentleman at the desk apologized, said they were very busy, and that someone had done the alignment and then marked the car as finished incorrectly. This was a little frustrating, given I had to arrange for a ride while my car was being seen, but mistakes happen and I let it go with a shrug. When my car was finished the second time, the new tires were on, thankfully, but I immediately noticed a strange shuddering feeling in the way the car handled. The alignment was also pulling badly to the right. I called about the issue the next day and they said they would fix the alignment and check the tires. When I picked up the car, the gentleman at the counter said they had checked my tires but nothing was wrong with them. The car still had the shudder when I drove it home. Because my car was older, Town Fair Tire required that I bring it back in for a lugnut check at 25 and 500 miles after the new tires were put on. So within two days I had to go a third time for the 25 mile check. Before going in I called to talk to someone about the shudder and got Joe, the manager. He expressed concern over the shudder and said to let the person know at the desk and they would check the tires. The person I got, however, said this sounded like a mechanical problem. They did the lugnut check, and he said they had looked over the car and found nothing. He suggested it was my hubcap being slightly loose that could have made the noise I heard. I reiterated that it was a physical change in the handling of the car. He said my car was old and it was probably my brakes or shocks, and that I should talk to a mechanic. I tried once more to have someone check the tires when I went in for my 500 mile lugnut check. I told them about the shudder and that my gas mileage had noticeably gone down. They insisted the tires were fine. So I took the car to a mechanic. I asked him to check the brakes, shocks--anything he could think of that could be causing the issue. His discovery? My brand new tires were all extremely under filled at only 20 psi by Town Fair Tire, even though the recommended pressure is 32 psi. I was driving on the highway like this, commuting to work, all on hazardously low-pressure tires, even though I had multiple people at Town Fair tell me they had checked "everything" and that nothing was wrong with the tires. I'm furious at this kind of negligence, and even more so that not a single person other than Joe took my concerns seriously. This is a serious safety issue that shouldn't have been overlooked on multiple occasions by tire specialists, and I definitely don't feel I could trust this location again myself or recommend it to anyone else. read more

These guys are the best. I had a tire repaired elsewhere for a slow leak (they found a nail and put in a plug), but the leakage in the tire continued. I couldn't get another repair appointment in less than a week down here in Boston, and with 35,000m miles on the original set of tires, I decided to just get a new set of all-seasons. I went to Town Fair Nashua the next day for a new set and they were in stock. The advisor instead took off the tire that still had the slow leak, found a second nail in it, had it repaired, told me I had plenty of tread left on the original tires, and sent me on my way. BEWARE OF "PRICE MATCH" BEWARE OF "COMPARABLE TIRE DEAL" BEWARE OF THE ADVERTISED "FREE FRONT-END ALIGNMENT" I started researching for tires on-line and found a Goodyear tire that had great reviews and reasonably priced at $115 each.... Total $460 (free shipping). I went to TownfairTire.com to see if they had it, and they do, so got my keys and off to TownFair tire in Nashua. Curt let me know the tire I wanted wasn't in stock, but he had a "comparable tire" - the "Mastercraft Stratus A/S". He showed me the tire and explained how the side channels on the tread helped to divert the water away from the tread ... made sense- but I questioned how these side channels were not even 25% into the tread ... I asked how he felt it would perform once the tread was worn down through the 25%...and those side channels were worn off ....his response was "well thats how all tires are made".... Right then I knew I was dealing with someone that knew nothing of the "technicals"... just a sales person. It did seem like a decent tire.... Good tread ... All Season Tire... but how much ? Curt said they were $130 each ... I said "no thanks as I would rather get the Goodyear quality I was familiar with, and at a better price" ... he was quick to say he would match the price of the Goodyear tire that I was originally looking at - I am always enticed by a deal, so again I accepted his offer to reduce the price. We also talked about the 4 wheel alignment, but I know my car well ... and also could see my rear wheels wore very uniformly, so I waived the "4 wheel alignment at $55.00", and wanted just the included free front wheel alignment done. Curt was quick to let me know that doing just the front could be mis-aligned with the rear wheels ... he mentioned the tires would be "Dog Tracking"....I do a lot of work on cars and had never heard of such BS. He also gave me that coined phrase "The manufacturer recommends 4 wheel alignment, and without it it would void the warranty on your tires" ... a typical passive aggressive sales pitch.... I was fine with only the front-end be aligned. He again pushed letting me know that the front-end alignment uses only the steering wheel as a reference, and still could be mis-aligned with the rear wheels... (sorry -not falling for that BS) The installation was quick, but not without an issue. My car has a pressure sensor in each wheel, (as most cars do these days) so TownFair tire doesn't provide the advertised "free Valve Stems", but they do replace the internals of the valve ... ( a $3.79 part for 4 at Walmart) ... but they broke the sensor when removing one, and replaced it with a bare Valve Stem (no sensor). Now my display panel would be warning me of "Low Tire Pressure", until it would be replaced. Curt said my car only used Chrysler specific sensors, and TownFair doesn't carry them for my car ... they only carry the "generic sensors", if I wanted them to get one from the dealer they would order it for me. I asked how much it would be, and Curt let me know it would probably be around $120 -if I bought it , they would put it in for free. (gee thanks) I said I would buy it on my own, and would have them put it in when I got it. I got out my credit card to pay, and Curt handed me the invoice that showed charges for "Computer Balancing", and "Valve Stems" .... and extra $91.60 ... because he saved me $60.00 by "price matching" .... READ THIS AGAIN ... it cost me $91.60 to save $60.00 !!! ... but it gets worse !!! I purchased the OEM sensor for my tire at AMAZON for $37.00 ( not sure where Curt got that $120 estimate from)- I brought my car back to have the sensor put back in. They couldn't find the work done on my Pacifica ... but on a "Town and Country"- it looks like the original order wasn't entered correctly ... now I am wondering if the correct tires were put on my car... luckily Nick was able to confirm that the tires would be fine on my car (still not sure if these are the tires for my car). Nick was great to get the sensor replaced fairly quickly. He provided an invoice showing the work and no charge. I then asked if I could get the print-out for the front-end alignment as it wasn't included the day it was done, and I like my records to be complete..... I was now told that when the "price match" was used ... the "free" services are no longer provided - WHAT !!! So - because I purchased a lesser, since it was in stock- and for reducing the price by $60 on the 4 tires ("price match") -the free services were no longer provided ... including the free front-end alignment !!! So now an added cost of $91.60(balancing and valve stems) -and "front-end alignment" -wasn't even done ! -deceitful ! Worth repeating !!! By reducing the price of the 4 tires by $60 total, I now had to pay for the normally "Free Services") ... and additional $91.60) (AND GOT LESS ... NO FRONT_END ALIGNMENT)... what a scam !!! ....I still had to also purchase a pressure sensor that THEY broke !! read more

I researched tires on line and picked out a long lasting Continental all-season. My wife called around to find the best price and ultimately went to Town Fair. The salesman told her that she really didn't want the Continentals because the tread was too "aggressive" Aggressive??? - on an all season tire? He convinced her to buy some store brand made by Cooper. Cheapy cheapy tires that he charged almost as much for as the Continentals. Yeah, I'm mad at my wife for being such a sucker but I absolutely hate the crook at Town Fair that pulled the bait and switch on her. Absolute crooks! read more

Careful!! This place will not honor *their own invoices* from only 14 days prior, *even if you were told explicitly they would*, AND even though the invoice I had was the original *and verifiable in their computer system*. Let me explain briefly: I went to town fair tire Manchester location two weeks prior to this visit to the Nashua location. The Manchester location gave me a 105$ tire for 83.50$ installed. I was told I would need a second tire, at which point I told them I would get the second tire at the Nashua branch in two weeks - I was told by both locations to simply bring the invoice and the price would be matched. Fast forward to two weeks later; Manchester location tells me they are out of stock of the particular tire, but Nashua has it and would match the invoice. I brought the invoice to Nashua's location and they flat refused to match their own invoice - period. The rep, Llyod, told me that I would need to tell him how I got that price. I couldn't remember, and handed him the invoice (again, from TFT Manchester). He called them to verify, which they did. He refused to match their own invoice. He charged me 20$ extra, and was incredibly rude in explaining (very annoyingly telling me, more than explaining, really). The other reps around him told him ways he could go about doing the match, but he didn't budge. I paid the extra 20$ as I needed the tire done and do not have time because of work during M-F and this industry's limited hours. I also needed a tire patched, which to Lloyd's credit, he added to the service job for free, likely to soften the blow of the extra charge. Truth be told, it wasn't the price that upsets me; although it was 10-15$ more than most competitors nearby, what really gets me is the failure to keep their word, match their own invoice from 2 weeks back, and the extreme "I could care less if we get your business or not" attitude. There was zero customer service from this rep (the others seemed better). The work itself was done quickly but I can't speak to the quality yet as it was just done. I would not return to the Nashua location and would advice anyone to pick another TFT in a neighboring town/city; I was stuck with this one due to limitations on time and convenience. Again, the price wasn't really the issue to me, keeping their own guarantees is. AVOID!! read more

Went here recently to purchase 4 tires and have them installed. I understand it's a discount tire shop and I didn't expect it to be like a dealership, but they need to step their game up. The main counter has no organization. People are taking phone calls as they're trying to process your order. While the staff was polite, they don't seem to have the ability to multitask. Secondly, I noticed a light scuff on one of my rims that wasn't there before. What a hack job they did. I was in and out in an hour, which was fine, but these people need to step it up. read more

Ok ordered.tires to replace old.tires that were recalled from Hancook. Only had 25k miles.on.them and hardly any tread left. Anyway i showed up for.my appt which was at 10am. To only wait over an.hour for the service advisor to enter the info .on the computer and amswer phones. So by the time my car was brought back.for tires it was 11.45 when you are having paperwork done the service advisor should.not be answering.phones and leaving.me.stranded for.an.hour read more
