Terrible. Worker is terrible, claimed to "own the town of Ossining and can get away with whatever he wants" He will run this business to the ground. The worker boasts and takes advantage of the work the owner put in. The owner does not seem to mind this behavior. Dishonest and will do anything for a buck. A vehicle (not mine) was towed over a sign that has not been removed - so the vehicle was parked correctly. The owner of the spot calls bobs, bc though they failed to have a sign, it is their "spot" and marking their words, "have gone through this over 15 times". Instead of fixing their issue they have guests towed by this one company. After being confronted with evidence they got defensive, started cursing and got unprofessional bc they clearly do not want this business to end with this spot. They charge a minimum Of $150 per tow plus $75 per day so $2250 minimum on this spot alone. All shady business.. Undeserving of your business. More honest, good companies out there to give business too. read more

Was referred to these guys by the first tow service I called which was too busy to help on a Saturday afternoon. The responding driver from Bob's was professional and quick and pulled my vehicle out of a mud pit it had sunk into. Charge was $150. Seems a little high for a 10 minute job but all in all I think it was fair. read more

My father who's a senior had a car accident and this crock decided to rip him off by charging him $150 to take his car to his establishment and not asking him where he want it delivered, on top of that he charge my father $75 to bring his car back to his home. Used Yelp and randomly came across Bobs towing. I called him around 5pm and he picked up, scheduled a tow for a half and hr later, took payment with a cc on his cell at location, sent an emailed receipt, and delivered the car to my requested location. Everything was smooth and easy. Will use again. read more

I am a CSR for a large dispatch roadside service. It was after 10pm, I was supposed to be off work, and I could not find a tow truck driver in this area the customers were in. I had just exhausted almost all of my regular service providers when I called Bob, and he jumped on the tow immediately with a 20 min ETA. The gentlemen that had been waiting over 2 hours were relieved and happy to know bob was coming to the rescue. I always have a "hero of the day" on my shifts, and BOB, you are the HERO of the day for taking a late service call and helping us out. Thank you sir! You were amazing! read more

So the guy (and his assistant) show up to tow my Mercedes that's been sitting in my driveway because the steering column locked. He can't get the tow truck to hook up because the car is sitting low. Instead of jacking it up, he simply drives off. No courtesy, zero effort. I would never recommend him...as a local business owner it pains me to write this. read more

My insurance company's roadside assistance service sent Bob's Towing to pick up my daughter and my car. It took the driver 2 1/2 hours to arrive. He was pleasant enough and drove the car to the dealer, who was closed, and then to my local garage. The driver then spoke to Bob who refused to release my car, as the insurance company hadn't called him back and "he'd never heard of the insurance company" - odd, as they referred them to us. I spoke to him on the phone, and he was extremely rude. I finally gave the driver $150.00 in cash to get my car and asked for a receipt. I was assured that Bob would be sending one electronically. It never came. My daughter called him the following day for a receipt, he again assured her it would come shortly; it never did. Since then the insurance company has called him 3x for a receipt - none has arrived. The guy's a jerk. Use someone else if humanly possible. read more
