If I could give this place Zero stars I would. My truck was broken into while on the lot and they claimed that someone jumped a barbed wire fence to steal the items. Seems a bit fishy, but ok that's what I was told. Just know that if you're in an accident don't use this tow yard at all. read more

My car got towed for my tags being expired and it landed in a three day weekend. The police dropped their fee's but I still couldn't afford to take my car out of the tow yard , they would not work with me at all. I am a disabled women that lives alone with nobody to rely on for help and highly depend on my car to get to doctors appointments and grocery shopping, etc. I just had a rebuilt transmission put in my car and it was gone just like that. I feel if the police were willing to work with me bobs towing could have worked with me as I had most of the money . Very sad outcome. read more

I was involved in a accident one night after my shift so CHP called a tow truck for me. I wanna say it was a quick 15-20min wait which was quicker than my insurance would've came they gave me a estimate of a hour to a hour and a half. Well when the driver got their he immediately loaded up my vehicle and even picked up all the car parts all over the road and even threw some oil absorbent and was quick. Overall I am pleased with the service. read more

Was stuck on the Charter Way offramp following an accident and thought that CHP could get someone there quicker than we could. Apparently they called Bob. They showed up quicker than expected and were efficient about the process but nothing prepared us for a $279 charge for a simple ten-mile tow. There are definitely better options out there. read more

Don't use them very rude and OVER charge, they mainly do stockton PD calls because they can rip people off and over charge insurance Company's. my sister was in a wreck on pacific ave and ben holt we asked if they could drop it at our house instead of the yard cause our house was 2 blocks away ben holt and Eldorado, then the guy wanted to charge $300 to drop it off there, then thought it was funny, again they are a rip off company only looking for the quick buck, read more

First off my car wouldn't start due to alternator being out or battery my insurance sent Bob's Towing to me and eta of 60mins. I waited and it passed an hour so my insurance made a call and he let them know he's in traffic so 10more mins no big deal. He showed up and handle the car well done at first I was scare of reading the bad reviews but he was nothing like that at all. He was very nice and didn't want me to ride in his truck because of no A.c. I wasn't alone my husband was with me so we headed home together . When he got to my place he settle the car carefully and I did the paperwork as quickly as I can because of the 100 plus degrees weather. Service was excellent read more

Hi I am 64 yes of age and also an throat Cancer patient. Well thanks to reasons beyond my control. My means of transportation to my Dr.was stolen I thought but 1 week later I found it had been taken by the police. Without any type of consideration my auto was towed now mind you my Tags were expired but Dont they give tickets for that if your car is parked FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. well my point is when I found my car here it was at Bob's I am on a fixed income and he or his secretary BOLDLY tells me it will be over 3000 dollars to have my means of transportation to not Dr. Appointments they would not let me pay installments nor would they come down on the price bmBUT what they did do was sneered towards me and wish me an MERRY CHRISTMAS I dont know what to do. Great service. I was iffy on the looks of the reviews but I can say I was happy with the service.

1st of all Juan your not about helping people clearly,(Yelp bio says thats why he started this company ) your reviews also reflect my same feeling towards this dump of a tow company. They have a contract with SPD thats how bad it they are. I had my car stolen a week before Xmas and not only was the receptionist (Sandra) rude but lack basic knowledge of how the process worked and had to ask around the whole office for all her answers........none the less they refused to wave any fees were really rude about it and said they had spoke to Juan himself and he said that all fees had to be paid! The worst experience we just encountered with Bob's Towing. If you care about your car and time DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE. The story is unbelievable of how they took 3hrs to get to us and then send someone who has mediocre knowledge of towing. Then to top it off you dam near shove the car off as it is almost half way on because I called you out on what you were doing. Clearly it was wrong and you left "because you had another call" You are lucky to have 2 Stars on Yelp. I will never call this place again and won't allow my family and friends to use this company. Clearly took advantage of my son . All he saw was $$$ sign on my sons forehead. Towed his car to our home which is probably 10 miles away and charged him $230. I hope you are proud of what you do and how you put food on the table to feed your family with. You don't realize that the money my son paid you, he worked 3 long night rain or shine just to earn that. He is a full time college student and works part time for his allowance. I made arrangements with Bob's Towing to transport a large boat and trailer from dry dock storage to a mechanic in Stockton. I knew this was not going to be an easy job, and other towing companies said it was beyond their capabilities. Juan the driver for Bob's Towing showed up as promised and expertly handled the situation, going well beyond what would normally be expected. Juan is a real pro and dealt with the job professionally and with great success, the price we were charged was very fair. Bob's Towing and especially Juan get a big thumbs up from me and my family! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only give it one star because I HAVE to. My insurance company set this  place up to come pick up my car after I had been in a collision. When the driver showed up to my house he was rude, nasty, and he caused more damage to my car then what had already happened during my collision. He then proceeded to cuss at my 14 year old sister for asking him question about ripping parts off of my undercarriage. I was floored, to say the least. Very disgusted by this behavior but not surprised, it is, Stockton. Horrible customer service and they will be hearing from my insurance company if not my lawyer. read more

Called this company for a tow to Big Valley Ford from I-5 and March Ln. Asked how much for the toward was given a reasonable price. When the driver got there the price jumped up $50!!! Whatever you do, don't ever accept a tow from these idiots if you want your car back in one piece and working order!!! I'd just purchased a gently used Lexus, hadn't finalized the paperwork with DMV. It wouldn't start, so I called my Road Service, and they sent these morons. Told them exactly where I was, read the name of the business and their address right off of there sign. The driver didn't know the slightest thing about Lodi (didn't even know what Taurus was, or where it was located!), but he took the call anyway. There was evidently mis-communication too between the dispatch and the driver. But he got very agree because the address dispatch gave him took him out in the country a mile or two west of town. So the driver became extremely agree at me, and took it out on my car! He hooked his cable to just the driver's side of the axil, where the hub assembly and brakes are located! And he drug the big heavy Lexus up the flat bed tow truck from just that one side and very wrong OK cation! I tried to stop him, buy he rudely told me to shut up, mind my own business, he knew what he was, and let him do his job! I told him it my car, I paid for it, so it is my business! I showed him where his incorrectly hooked up cable was almost to pop the front driver wheel clean off of the car, so that the wheel was protruding waaaay out further than the fender! He said that was nothing and refused to let my car down and leave as I requested he do.H e also didn't use any soft goes on the wheels/tires as all other tow truck drivers do. Then he used a heavy duty chain on that area too, and watched it S tight as he could, until the wheel early popped off! He towed my car like that all the way from North Lodi to south Stockton. When I started to drive away from the shop, the the wheel was enabling, paying badly, and making a terrible grinding sound whether I'm accelerating, at a constant speed, coasting, or braking. Evidently he screwed up the bearings, the hub assembly, who knows what else, and may have messed up the frame or sub-frame too!!!! Now I have been getting the run around for over a week now., and it appears I'll have to open a claim, and this wonderful, comfortable, previously great running, gently used car may get totalled before I can even get the Title and tags from DMV, .... thanks to the temperamental tow truck driver from hell at Bob"s Towing!!! No wonder they have a rating of only two stars! But if I could give them negative two stars I'd do so in a heart beat!!! I may have to go out any buy a similar Lexis, which would cost about $40,000! Don't ever accept a tow from this company, if you care about your car, truck, SUV. etc.!!! read more

this company has not communication skills, they left my daughter stranded telling her to call her insurance company, instead of explaining to her that since the service she requested failed attempting to tow her now required a new service call, instead he told her to call her insurance co and took off, as well as the stupid woman on the dispatch line all she had to say was "sorry that wasn't clear enough for her" what horrible customer service and I hope no else decides to use your services if you cant provide better service than that read more
