    Al Pastor burrito

I ordered from this place many times and gave it a five star review. My wife and I went for the last time after my doctors appointment and we ordered two burritos./El Pastor, and the meat was so dry, the meat was literally black in color. There was no cheese basically, and mind you, four days prior to that the meat was so fresh that when you picked up the burrito my hand was greasy AF. I will never, ever buy from this place again! I mean the meat was that dry to wear. It turns black I've never had any meat like that. I couldn't even eat the burrito. I just opened it and found out why it wasn't greasy like the other times. Like I said, we had just come out from my doctors appointment and we were really hungry. Seems to me that the meat that they gave me came from the day before, and it couldn't sell, so they chose us to make their money of $12.50 each burrito mind you. I don't mind paying if the food is good, but the food was not good being that it was burnt and dry.

Fast service! My burrito was great! Huge, hot, cheesy! They take touchless payment!!! So conveniently, I really loved my experience and everyone was nice and ready to help. Parking is curbside.

Got Boca for all my co-workers and they all LOVED it. So that speaks volumes! They have never tried it and gave it 5 stars all around.

All meat burritos is huge, savory and really delicious

It is a little hole in the wall. I have been coming to this place for more than 10 years but this is the first time to write a review. It is located where Starbucks is, but it is located mainly on Arrow highway. You can park at the back of Boca Del Rio, or on the street. Their tacos are very humongous, specially if you order taco special with all toppings. It is really huge and it is for $3 .75 for th soft taco. Their burritos is so savory and tasty. You can eat it on two times, unless you have a good appetite. The service is fast. The owner is very friendly and attentive. For this time I ordered: Boca del Rio: I ordered taco special with all the toppings on -2 alpastor $7.50 -1 asada. $3.75 -2 pollo.  $7.50 -1 all meat burritos special $12 The price is very reasonable compared to the size and the quality. They accept credit and cash , whatever your preferred. I like this place because of the freshness of the food, the good taste, the toppings and the price. It is one of my favorite taco places.

Liars- tacos don't come with cabbage cheese n onion or cilantro. Waste of money.

Wack. Don't order from Uber eats for this place. They literally don't include any Of the listed toppings. Paid so much for these empty tacos. No cabbage no cilantro no onion no cheese. sad tacos. Waste of money.

Carne asada burrito I always ask for green and red salsa! Nice spiciness which always hits the spot!

COVID-19 operations: customers must wear masks, social distancing signs, takeout orders only, seating area taped off. CC & Cash payments accepted. Extra charge for beef and pork due to meat shortage add $1.50 per burrito. Forgot what the surcharge was for tacos. There's a man that works there by the name of Chano, a master of his craft, truly one of a kind. This man knows how to stuff and roll a burrito like no other. We get everything to include green and red Chile. The only differences are I order carné asada and my wife has carnitas. My girls always split a quesadilla. Then when all evidence of food is gone, we wash it all down with horchata for me, jamaica for my wife. We have had Carne asada nachos and fries before which hit the spot, not a plate for solo eaters though and more than enough to share. Tacos are loaded to the point where they are more than a handful. I challenge you to eat more than two! Parking is tight, better to park on street if no availability. Until our next LA County visit, we will miss the food here.

My husband ordered the Asada meat only burrito with the guacamole, cabbage, onion and cheeses, about 1lb.. Not only a great burrito but great customer service.

The staff are very welcoming and genuinely warm. The restaurant has cozy and inviting ambience. Outdoor and indoor seating are available. I placed an online order for pickup. It served with sauteed bell peppers tomatoes and onions, rice, guacamole, beans and pico de gallo. Just over priced wanna be mexican food. The place wasn't packed, but there were a few booths open and tables. I requested a booth, but those were reserved. Hmm, why?? Anyways, my guy and I waited to order a beer, nothing exciting but the waitress finally came. She took our drink order, sometime passed when she returned to tell us the bar was backed up. Really? One bartender on a Friday night? She finally brought the beers but no chips and salsa. Like I said wasn't busy. Then she took our food order.. Here is how it went. I ordered the (4) taquitos ala cart. My guy ordered the combo hard taco with enchilada. The chips came but they were stale, salsa was good, but I was hungry so I sacrificed. My taquitos came out with a small spoonful of guac and strands of lettuce on the side, so they were dry. I bit into one and that had no fresh crunch, like they were already made and just reheated. My guys combo.. The enchilada was drenched in red sauce, no flavor he said and the taco was hard and stale too. He ordered just beans because the rice look like red sauce on rice, uggh! Needless to say, we won't be going back. Over rated for a so called "Mexican Cuisine" restaurant.. Oh, the waitress had a few tables, but didn't come to check in us, I had to ask for water, what a shame!! Did NOT order another drink, check please!!

Did we expect the tacos to be better than the ones at Disney's DCA at a 10 rating? Especially since these were soft not fried like DCA's. No, but tell you what, these were an 8 since we are comparing. NOW, the next day, I heated up the leftover 2 tacos in my air fryer at 425 for 6 min. Guess what? They are a 10 out of 10, just like DCA's!!!! Fuego can you fry these up? I My husband and I shared the surf and turf burrito. It was large enough to share! Heavy, packed with moist rice, melted cheese, birria and shrimp. Only modification we ask for was no pico and no chipotle crema. The shrimp was freshly cooked on the plancha and to perfection (had a snap). I was worried at first, no one wants rubbery shrimp. This was by far our most favorite item, and probably the best burrito i've ever had!!!! My husband said he'll buy me my own next time. Sorry, I don't have a photo. We gobbled that up so quick. So now I'm thinking we should order burritos to eat now and order the tacos to take home for next day air fryer meals. Now we can skip on them at DCA and enjoy other things we love to eat at Disney .

We got served some good old fashioned chips and salsa, always a favorite. I think I saw a piece of mango floating in it but I could be wrong, as it did not taste sweet. Tasted quite peppery so maybe it was a bell pepper. I have no idea. Salsa did have a different taste than the usual onion, garlic, tomato, cilantro so I'm unsure what they do here. Chips were fine, not hot and fresh but had a nice crunch to them. Most Mexican restaurants I've been to have this similar combination option and I saw their menu had a combo with three items: one enchilada, one chile relleno and one crunchy taco. I thought, awesome, I get to try one of each and see how I like 'em. I normally get a taquito with my meal so I asked the waiter if it was ok to order this combo with a taquito or flauta in place of the crunchy taco. He said no. Not, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we don't allow substitutions, thank you for understanding, etc." Just, no. Ok...? Never been to a place that cared much about me subbing a taco for a taquito, unless the plates are preassembled with a crunchy taco, which doesn't make any sense. Thought that was a little off-putting but onward... We ordered the potato taquito appetizer that was listed on their menu. Plate arrives and it's huge - which made sense since it cost $18 - but they were all visibly beef taquitos. I happened to be dining with my vegetarian friend, hence the ordering of potato taquitos, so we kindly informed the waiter that we ordered potato and these were all beef taquitos. Waiter confusingly indicated that these were potato taquitos and we kind of glanced at each other like... uhhh, there's clearly shredded beef in there sticking out, so we pointed it out. Waiter looks again, points to one specific taquito on the plate and says, "Well, that one is potato." The waiter eventually clarified that the taquitos were actually beef with potato. I politely informed him that since my friend is vegetarian and the menu didn't specify beef in the taquitos, we couldn't accept or eat the dish. The waiter was pushy about it and suggested we just take them home and eat the leftovers. Dude no. I ordered potato taquitos and we're only two people, and this was a massive plate of around 15 taquitos. I don't have an air fryer or oven at home, either, so I really have no proper way of reheating and I'm just one person. Either way, none of this was something I felt was worth arguing over. Just take the friggin taquitos back. We sat there uncomfortably for a bit and waited for our main meals to arrive. Got my combo, and it was honestly pretty good. Flavors were fresh and vibrant, even the taco was good although I was bitter it was a half-moon fried piece of tortilla with beef instead of a rolled fried piece of tortilla with beef. :( It's a joke, chill. We finished and the waiter brought out the bill. We quickly left our cards for payment and in clear view for the waiter to pick up so we could leave and digest by walking at the mall or something, but he never came. He walked by a few times, cards were sticking out... still nothing. After 30 minutes, my friend says she thinks we have to pay at the front. Would've been nice to know about 30 minutes ago. Paid at the front, left, and I won't be coming back. Food was actually pretty good but it unfortunately did not outweigh the lack of service and overall experience of eating here. Parking was good, at least.

Jorge came outside multiple times, clearly saw how many people were waiting, and even recorded the crowd on his phone three different times for social media. Knowing the capacity of the restaurant, he could have easily informed everyone that the remaining people in line would likely not get in. Instead, we waited over three hours with no communication. While we were waiting, I repeatedly watched people call Jorge. He would come outside, greet them, and bring them straight inside. I personally saw this happen at least six different times. When it was finally our turn to speak with the host, we were told there were no seats left, that we would have to stand, and that we wouldn't even be able to order food. I confronted Jorge about letting those other groups in ahead of everyone else. His response was that he knew them personally and that they were friends of the restaurant owners. That explanation only made the situation worse. My wife had just finished a 14-hour hospital shift, and we came here hoping to enjoy the game together. Instead, we spent three hours waiting only to be treated as though our time didn't matter. What was most shocking was Jorge's attitude. He literally told me, "They won't do anything to me if you post this. I'm friends with the owner." If that's the mindset of management, it's no surprise customers are treated this way. It truly felt like only friends and family received special treatment while everyone else was left waiting without honesty or respect. I have no issue waiting when things are busy, but I do expect transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those qualities.
