Horrible! The hostess with the least - TINA - is EXTREMELY rude and lacks social service skills. I visited the establishment some months back, and TINA was EXTREMELY rude to my friend and me. For some insane reason, she feels as if she can speak to customers "any kind of way." She doesn't know that good customer service is essential to maintaining a successful and consistent business. She takes for granted that people will continue to patronize the business despite her bad attitude and rudeness. I will NEVER visit that place again and encourage all others to follow suit! Went in and ordered 2 salads and plain wings to go ($56) but when I got home I discovered hot wings. I called the restaurant and they put the person that helped me on the phone but I couldn't hear her so they hung up. I called back and the waitress on the phone said that I ordered hot wings which I didn't, after going back and forth she told me to bring them back and they will make some more. I asked her to make them beforehand since I have to drive all the way back there and preferred not to wait but she said that she couldn't put in the order until I arrived. I have been wanting to try this place for years. Just never have gotten around to it. Today, I finally took the time to sit down and enjoy a lunch. This place is super clean! The workers are taking great measures during this time to protect themselves and their customers. Other businesses in this neighborhood could take some notes from this place. Ordered the Cajun salmon Caesar salad because I was definitely intrigued and am only here to say that it is not worth the price. $21 for a salad LET ALONE a very small salad is crazy. My first time here. Food was okay Service however was HORRIBLE!!! Waited 1hr before someone took our order. Waited another 45 minutes before receiving food. No one returned to check on us. I did not like the drink I ordered so tried ordering another one but was unsuccessful. Unfortunately I made the mistake of coming to a restaurant hungry so was extra frustrated. Still the worst part of the evening was the female owner had an altercation with someone in our party who was upset about the poor service and so they requested a manager. Our party was very large, (A middle aged crowd of ppl all of whom were employed and was a diverse group celebrating a coworkers new job) we were seated between several tables so we were not aware at the time until everyone at the table stood up abruptly. We were told we had to leave because another party was coming, and regardless of the fact that ppl had not finished eating or drinking due to service being so slow, and worse was they called the police to remove us, just in case. So we each requested to close out our checks which were not discounted or adjusted for the inconvenience , and when the waitress finally showed to bring our portion of the check, a gratuity was already added. It truly was a horrible experience and we never received an apology. I won't be returning but wish I had read the reviews first, I would have never taken that long drive. read more

The bar food is good, but not spectacular, but what would you expect it's a bar not a five star restaurant. It does taste like it was thawed out and warmed up, but then again that's not a surprise. The furniture and decor are outdated. There's never really anyone new coming in this place, so unless you are looking for a familiar face this isn't the spot for you. It's a dive bar in a town where there's absolutely nothing to do, so on a good night it might be packed with people chatting, dancing, or watching the game. I guess the fact that Matteson is in the middle of no where explains why they attempt to charge a cover on occasion. On an average night, it's as dead as an abandon saloon like something on the set of an old black and white western. I'd also pass on the patrons. The women are unbelievably full of gossip and negative comments about each other. Typically, in a 30-somethings bar you'd expect women to carry themselves in a much classier way. On occasion they have DJ's, which are a special treat and so that places Boccee's above what you'd expect of a sports bar in the middle of a ghost town. read more

We got there about 8 pm on this past Saturday to celebrate our sister's birthday, found out we should have made reservations because most of the tables were already reserved. To make a long story short, the night went extremely well, the manager was very nice to accommodating us with a couple of tables until the guest who made reservations arrived at around 10 pm. Our servers were nice and the customer service was awesome, the food was good as well and we did not have to wait long. So looking at the past reviews, I would have to say we went on a good night. Total Rip Off! Oct 30, 2022 they Stole $20 from me and Charged me 15% service charge for a carryout order. I ordered one Buffalo wing $13.95 and one sweet carrot n Broccoli $5.25. The total amount they charged me was $24.05. I gave the Bartender $24.05 and she took my money and did not ring it up, she just set the money on the side. I was requested to leave out, because they wasn't open yet. it was about 11:45 when I walked in. Why have the door open if you are not open. So I said I will be back. When I came back, the Bartender said, I only gave her $4.05 and she said I owe her $20 and my order was ready but she refused to give it to me unless I paid her $20. I said, I know I gave you $24.05 and I counted it twice before I put it on the tray. I requested that they pull the Camera. They had me wait so long that, I said, I'll pay the $20, and come back for my Refund. As soon as I pull off, the Female Manager (i think her name was Tina) Called my phone, and said, I just looked at the camera and seen you only put $3 on the tray. I said, thats a lie, the Bartender showed me $4.05 on the tray. She said whatever, you are not getting your money back and she was yelling at me very Rude!!! She is always known to be Rude to Female Customers. Also, they Charged me a 15 Service charge for a Carryout order. Please note, that most Restaurants, that 15% service charge go to the Restaurant and not the Server. I collected my Carryout order from the inside at the bar counter. This Sports Bar has been know for years from the employees stealing form the owner. And I guess he don't care because half of the thieves are in his own family. The manager TINA who refused to identify herself today. Felt the need to scold my friends and I after we received several badly made drinks. We were polite, and cordial with her. We have been loyal patrons of Bocce's for several years, and were treated like trash by TINA. TINA was very unprofessional. She was rude, uncouth, and tacky. We did not fall to her level. We still spent well over $100.00 as a group. Thanked our server BRITTANY who was kind, cordial and helpful. When we tried to express to TINA that we have been patrons for several years, and had only great experiences with Boccee's she said she did not care, she did not even try to correct the issue, and she spoke condescendingly to us regarding our concerns. TINA needs a business management course. Starting with customer service 101. I am sure her father LOU would not be proud of what his lil girl is doing with the place. I went here for the first time for my friend's B-day. There was plenty of parking even though the place was packed. There was a 10 dollar cover at the door, which is expensive to me for the location and the type of bar. We sat a table where we had the worst waitever. She seemed to have an attitude every time someone said a word to her. I ordered a vodka and lemonade, and after waiting 30 minutes, she brought me a Long Island. I had to wait even longer for my drink. She kept bringing drinks to our table that we didn't order, but when we were ready to order she was no where to be found. Afterwards I paid for my drinks in cash and she never brought back my money. I had to hunt her down and after arguing with her, she brought me back the change. There were other people complaining about extra charges on the bill and the waitress not bring back money. There may be an issue of theft by way of employees. Despite not having the greatest experience, the crowd and the Dj were amazing, which salvaged this experience for me. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. I came here for my cousin's 40th birthday party, we had an amazing time, great food, drinks and service. The music was great, as well. I had a jack and coke and a lemon drop martini, both were nice and strong. I will never patronize this establishment again after the rudeness and disrespect received from Tina who is the owner's daughter. On another occasion she asked two ladies I know to leave because she said there Is a two drink minimum on show night. I stopped by Bocces with my husband for a drink and dinner after a long day working. We were deciding between Bocces and another place and settled on Bocces. We ordered 2 margaritas and then ordered a chicken quesadilla and fried chicken dinner. We had just placed the order and took a sip of the drink and it was terrible. The drink was watered down, and we decided to catch the waitress and cancel our food and just go to the other place. My husband went to the waitress right away and instead of going to the kitchen she went to the manager and after talking with her and then us for SEVERAL minutes they came and said the food was done and we have to pay for it to go. I offered to pay for the terrible drinks since they came to my table and i took a sip of it but I told him that we should not have to pay for the food and I didn't want my food to go. They discussed some more while I waited patiently and eventually we started to leave. At that point the security guard chased us down like we were running out on the tab and I did not give him a hard time because he was just doing his job. So now my husband and the manager are arguing about this at the front door while other patrons are coming in and he threatened to call the police if we didn't pay. I told him to call the police if he thinks he's right. We waited for the police and told them our side of the story which 1 officer agreed this was ridiculous but they were just doing their job also. I was then told by another officer that we have to pay for the food and I asked him what happens if we dont and was told I would be arrested for theft of services. At this point I decided to just pay but this is far from over. The manager lied and told the police we waited to cancel until the food was done...NO he waited to tell the cook to stop preparing the meal until it was done. We informed the waitress within minutes to cancel the food and we will pay for the drinks. Why was I ordered to pay for food I no longer wanted and forced to take the food to go. By the way we did not take the food when we paid on principle even though it was bagged up at the desk. This was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and I do not recommend anyone ever attend this place. Do not patronize this place. I met a friend after work for bar food and a couple of drinks to have a chill Friday evening. Unfortunately, the owner Tina ruined the evening. The drinks were good the food was mediocre, but that's to be expected since it's bar food. Our bill was approximately $111. We split the check 50/50 two credit cards. I saw our waitress flustered at the register. She called a fraile blonde woman over to assist her, which I later learned to be Tina. The waitress returned to our table to explain their card reader was not working and both of our cards declined in addition to a 3rd patron's card. The waitress said she would send the owner over to explain the situation. While we were waiting, I heard a different waitress tell the booth behind us that there was a problem with the card machine. When the owner finally approached our table she was vile, belligerent, and disrespectful. She said her card worked, I just tried it. Your card was declined and I'm not accepting your credit card. You have to pay cash. I called Capital One who stated on speaker phone they did not have a declined charge from this business. Also, if you were not having issues with your merchant equipment then why would you TEST your own credit card? Lastly, why would you have other waitresses telling patrons the card machine is down. I've never been so disrespected in my life. This owners actions were totally irrational, and she has no regard!!!! Race was definitely a factor in how she spoke to us and her resolution for solving a problem that wasn't ours to solve. I'm tired of patronizing businesses that mistreat and disrespect their customers of color. The owner wanted us to use a sketchy ATM at the front of her business. We refused. By this time there are several waitresses around our table the one says the machine is working now. We can only use our cards if we show ID. Fine, we show ID which is weird but okay. We get our coats and walk to the register where the waitress was copying our driver license info on the register receipt. You don't need that information. There is definitely something sketchy about this place and how they conduct business. I should have known this place was going to be TRASH when they brought my dine-in food out in styrofoam carry-outs. Where are the dishes!!!!! Tina, the owner, is definitely classless!!! Should have known she has bad judgment, who wears a gray Gucci scarf with a Louis Vuitton Neverfull. Residents of Matteson and surrounding suburbs please don't patronize this place. Don't go here on weekends!!! I went here last night for a friend's birthday party. They made us wait 45 minutes in line. They let my friend in once he recognized a security guard, but they wouldn't let me in. I had to wait another 10 mins for my friend to come get me in. This place is a joke! I arrived earlier that my friends so I had an opportunity to review/read the menu and learn that a 15 percent grautity was automatic no matter the size of the party. I was appalled when the waitress encouraged us to use our charge...and pointed out the percent options beginning with [an additional] 18 percent! They actually calculate the additional tip using the total cost of the food and drink order, the tax, and the automatic 15 percent gratuity! What nerve! Well, the food is not great. If I could give this place a negative star I would I went with my friends last night and all the drinks we ordered were really bad we ordered apple martinis of which we were told were made with Sprite it was the worst I've ever had in my life. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!! My wife asked for a beer list ( bec she wasn't sure what she wanted) and the response was "name a beer you like and we have it." Food was decent. Sat for 30 minutes after our server went to get the check before I had to track her down to give her my card. We had a party of 5 (2 kids), and they added gratuity (most likely because nobody would give a tip for the service we got). By the way, this gratuity was NOT on the initial bill, but shows up in the receipt to sign (says "gratuity included" below the amount). Server was rude on several occasions, she forgot about a side order, and I made eye contact with her 5 times (each time she would walk away) while waiting to give her my card to pay to we could get the heck out of there. I echo the sentiments of other reviewers. This establishment does not care about their patrons. I was in Bocce's and experienced the worst customer service EVER. There was hardly anyone at the table's in the place and the service was so slow. I also had questionable things on my bill. After asking for a manager, I proceeded to get two people who claimed to be managers, who began to yell and defend themselves before they even heard the whole story. I'm actually laughing because looking at the other reviews it is the same experience. The bald guy states call the police and in my calm voice I say please do. Who are you calling for....yourself.
