This is a cute little venue, nestled in a corridor area of a hotel. Definitely has a nice five with an extensive drink menu and limited food items that look delicious. I have visited this location three times. The only thing that they can get right are the drinks other than that the food has been horrible. Unfortunately, due to either confusion or a language barrier has made it difficult to getting my orders correct. I definitely wish that I could have gotten this place right as it's convenient to the location that I frequently stay when traveling to Denver. I provide feedback and there's never a resolution with very simple fix of menu items. The gentleman who serves as the bartender as well as the server is not easy to work with. You would think that tacos would not be so complicated, but this restaurant has failed me as well as the patrons that I came to visit with. This venue does have a nice happy hour that they offer Monday through Friday. Seating, indoor and outdoor. Just can't get the food right sadly. There are a few other restaurants surrounding the venue but if you really want good Mexican, you're gonna have to go outside of this corridor area. I have officially given up. It will not be returning.

My friends and I went to Bodega Taco & Margarita Bar after a long day of networking across organizations in Denver, Colorado, for a school-led networking trek. The bar/restaurant was walking distance right across from the hotel we were staying in, so it was very convenient to get to since we were just looking for a nearby, fun environment to grab a little food on our last night in Denver. It was a very fun environment with good music, and they made a table large enough for our group, which was very nice for all be able to sit together in the back of the restaurant. However, the first thing we noticed was that we were the only people in there on a Friday night, when I would assume it would usually be fairly busy. We all shared chips and salsa as well as chips and queso. The queso was very good, and the salsa plate came with four different kinds of salsa (yet my tolerance could only take the classic red salsa). We each also ordered a small dish, and I chose to try the Street Corn, which was $8, so decently priced, I'd say. However, I did expect it to come with chips of its own, but it sadly did not. The corn dish was pretty good, but I barely finished half because it was drenched in different sauces. The service was decent, but definitely not great. As we were the only guests in the establishment, I thought the service would be much better, though we were waiting for at least 20 minutes for the check. Our server was very nice, yet the service provided could have been improved. Overall, it was a fun environment, and they had quite a large drink menu. If I ever find myself in Denver again, I don't think I will go back, but it is a decent place for a fun environment with friends.

Ok chips and salsa was nice with the variety of salsa's but the food needed some flavor to it I understand the culinary path you were trying to take but add some flavor Ok if your looking for something quick and hanging out on the patio chilling

I had a great time here and got some awesome margaritas and tacos. The margarita flight was great, having three different ones and I enjoyed them all. I think I liked the hibiscus one the most. The first one with the pepper in it had a little spice to it, which was interesting , and the watermelon one went down smoothly. I tried the chorizo taco (I recommend), the Chile relleno taco (also recommend), and the al pastor taco (it was also good, but I liked the other two better). I'd have gotten another drink if I could have stayed longer. The seating was nice and comfortable and the bar area also looked fun. The food and drinks came out quickly and the server was patient with the piecemeal ordering I did. I'll stop in here again for sure to try more.

Overall I think the experience was fine however I felt the price of the tacos were a bit excessive especially for what you got. The shrimp tacos I got had only two small pieces of shrimp and cost around $6 which is quite steep if you ask me. Perhaps it's the area this restaurant is at but I just don't think I could justify coming here again when I know there are places that are cheaper and tastes so much better. I also got their margarita which was good and prices were standard for that. Chips and salsa weren't complimentary so it just feels like they're just trying to squeeze every dollar they can onto the customers.

It's absolutely authentic, but with an elevated menu that really delivers. We got the chip trio, but you almost wouldn't need it since they have a full salsa bar, including endless pico de gallo and sour cream. But the chips are thick and crunchy and delicious. I tried the taco de birria de chivo (goat) and was truly blown away. The meat is so tender and seasoned so well, you can taste the allspice in it, which is perfect for goat, and so unique to Mexican food. I also tried the al Pastor and the Carne Asada, both were also to die for. I love how they make the taco have a little bottom and give it three sides, to help us fit all the generous portion that they give. They also have several different Agua Fresca's, that you serve yourself and get unlimited refills, including Horchata. It's amazing. I've already come back another time since.

For two people, ordered a set of 3 tacos (2x barbacoa and carnitas) and then another 3 tacos (asada, carnitas, and pastor), birria egg rolls, and a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. Not a big deal but they put all the tacos in one box and I was able to differentiate which 3 tacos that I ordered. This place is super stingy with salsa. They gave me 2 tiny containers for salsa and then when I asked for a couple more, the lady said she could only give me two more. :( Excited to try the food and started off great with a simple bean, cheese, and rice burrito but outside of that everything else was very meh. Not sure how but all the meats were so dry, I ordered braised/slow cooked meats (barbacoa and carnitas). Asada and pastor were okay as well. Everything lacked seasoning and the salsa didn't add much to the tacos either. Birria tacos were also dry and consommé needed salt to be added. Value was not bad at $37.64. Tacos were about $3-3.20 per

This long skinny establishment - not necessarily super spacious - can offer you a decent food that you can count on. You don't need anybody to go with - you can be a solo diner because this place is not intimidating in any way. It's that casual. I think this establishment was born in the old Stoney's Cantina space. Whether the place was huge enough to create two businesses (and thus La Loteria occupied half of it), I sort of saw some "remnant" of Stoney's was the impression that I got. Whatever I am correct on this or not, this casual Mex place is all about vivid pastel colored interior where red is mostly dominant. Intriguing murals on walls 360 degrees are quite impressive. Once you are inside, a huge arrow to direct the people to order to their left at the ordering counter. That ordering counter extends all the way where you'll see some bar seatings. The right side of it mostly has tables for small to large groups of people. Like I said, this place is not huge but at the same time, people don't stay long to dine; the turnover is quite quick in a way. The restaurant also gets many walk-in to-go order placers as well. I got me the Aztec Bowl for to-go. This dish is only $11 (as of early May of 2025) and is a vegetarian item. I consume a lot of vegetarian diet and yet my instinct loudly spoke to me to add some protein to it. Whether or not you can keep it non-meat to stay in the vegetarian zone, adding some protein to this dish is a must as if it was by itself, it would be a bit boring because it only has some greens and some slices of avocado. As the add-on, I got me the carne asada ($5.00) that comes with rice. Not bad.. I didn't eat it right after I got home; I meant to get it to eat it the next day which I did (this AM.) It was still fresh where nothing tasted stale. The carne asada was well-cooked with seasonings. In other words, it wasn't salty at all but held good flavors. Now on the receipt, I saw a charge of what's called "takeout service fee" which is 18%. I kind of assumed that this was mostly the mandatory gratuity. At the end of the card transaction, I remember that the different gratuity percentages were listed on the machine and they were quite small because of this fee. It'll be up to you to add more if you wish. Some people might complaint about this mandated system and yet I kind of understand that businesses nowadays must survive by navigating through the rising cost of living. As we have seen our favorite businesses disappear in the recent years, I am here to support them by whatever I could within my power. Whereas the parking on Broadway is a pain in the neck at any time of the day, if I think of a casual Mexican dining in the Baker neighborhood next time, I may stop by here. It's a good establishment to know.

It's also very unassuming. It looks like a very small restaurant on the outside but once you are inside, you'll be shocked to see its good size dining area. This place is all about happiness. I mean seriously!! They care about their customers that get satisfied with their service and meals. And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. Yelping is so much fun. That is why I cannot quit my foodie-ness! What a nice discovery!

I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.
