Cherie truly goes above and beyond -- she takes the time to get to know not only my skin, but me as a person. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed, cared for, and completely pampered. I've been a loyal client of this spa for years and have always adored the providers and front desk staff--truly some of the kindest, most professional women in the business. They deserve 5 stars and then some. Unfortunately, since the new owner took over, the spa has completely deteriorated. The facility is filthy, basic maintenance is clearly being ignored, and the overall environment now feels neglected and unwelcoming. I took my best friend and I to get our first facials we have ever had for her birthday. I didn't think there was any hope for my face. It is extremely dry and red I suffer from rosacea. Well that definitely changed once I met Cherie!! She is so sweet gentle amazing and explains everything step by step. She also answers any questions I have and starts and the very bottom to get my skin to where it needs to be. I've gone to Peaches and Cream Day Spa twice, once for a Swedish massage and a second time for a deep tissue massage. Both were great, though I especially enjoyed the deep tissue much more. My masseuse Megan was fantastic, she asked me a bunch a questions to see where my problem areas were and customized my massage from there. The spa itself is nice. You can tell it's been around for a while, though you can tell there have been updates here and there. They have a small locker room where you can change into a robe with provided slippers. In the locker room, there is a sauna as well (I haven't taken advantage of this amenity yet, so can't say much about it). In addition to the sauna, there's an outdoor patio where you can sit and relax, though I also haven't used this amenity since it's been so hot the times I've gone. Overall, I recommend this spot for massages. They offer a variety of other services as well (e.g. facials). read more

Always super relaxing and great treatment! Since the Med Spa side has left it does feel a bit empty, but hasn't seemed to affect the quality of my facial or massage. After posting my review in July, I was contacted by Natalie (office manager I believe?) who was very kind and apologized for the "shortened" service I received. She offered to have me come back for a complimentary facial but since I was just visiting, I could not come back right away... one of the things that stood out to me is when she said "come back whenever you are back in town and we will take care of you". So over 5 months later, I nervously made another appointment. I say "nervously" because I worry sometimes going back after a not so pleasant review, wondering how you would be treated... Making the appointment was a breeze. Natalie DID note my account so whomever I spoke with knew she was booking me a complimentary/replacement facial. Just like my first visit, my facial was one of the best I've ever had! So I really appreciate the CONSISTENCY. My skin felt fresh and rejuvenated. Customer service was great, I received my full 75-minute service this time and could not have asked for a better experience. It was actually SO pleasant that I went back the following day for a B12 shot appointment and also bought my mom a gift card for their services. It says A LOT for a business to take the time to call you to address your concerns; especially for a well-established business already! So I am glad Natalie called, I am glad I put my hesitation aside and came back... because now I have a regular spot to go to whenever I visit family in the area! Super Honest First time review: This place is a scam, they use very cheap products on you and will have your skin breaking out. My skin is not sensitive either. A regular facial that you can get for $35-$45 at a very good spa is $100 here but the aestheticians are really nice! But besides that, the worse part is the management :/ Beyond disprganized, and this girl named Hailey when I went was really rude and its so obvious she just wants to get her shift over with. All the front desk people do, but we pay so much. I heard things about her before from people who tried the place but thought id give it a chance. Shouldnt have. I have been a client to Peaches and Cream Spa for over 20 years my last visit was sadly my last I will not be returning due to change in ownership! I had gift cards and was told they could only take a portion of the gift cards since they no longer accepted them since they changed owners (mind you when I made the appointment over the phone for a facial and massage I told the receptionist I had gift cards she never told me about the change beforehand) I spoke to the manager and she was not accommodating and would not accommodate all of my gift cards and told me I had to use them at another spa under the previous owner) very disappointing in the lack of customer service! I purchased a $200 gift card which for her. I found out later that one of her client had already purchase this in a different facility, so I attempted to return. A nice quaint spa nestled in between businesses on Glendora Ave. Parking can be a nightmare at different times of the day so you can park behind the business off of Vista Bonita or Meda and just walk to the spa. Estheticians are friendly here, even though they all have different personalities. Some being more rigid and strict on certain things and in personality than others. I have been seen by a few that are very nice and helpful. Pricing seems reasonable. My scoring is not based on the Estheticians that I have seen. I want to love this place especially since I have been coming here for over 10yrs. However, there are some areas that would be nice to Improve on if possible. *Have a link or website available to customers for Covid Questioneer, health check, or any other paperwork that might need to be done before receiving treatment and coming in. Saves on time and other businesses have that in place already. *Please get samples of the products you use and/or sell in your spa. This has been an ongoing thing. Especially if you are out of a product at the time the customer wants to buy. I prefer to test a product out to see how my skin will react to it before purchasing. Maybe if you do not have sample to give out when requested offer to place some of the product in a container for your customer to try. I am happy that at least you offer returns on product with exceptions but it is just a nuisance to have to go through that if it does not work out. *Please be prepared ahead of time and have change ($1,$5,$10) available to the customers who prefer to pay in cash. Unless you only accept card payments and if that is the case let your customers know in advance and have signage up in regards to that. I did not see anything in spa saying you did not accept cash. I will try to make this clear and succinct. This is regarding peaches and cream, where I go for my weekly massage or whenever I have it. About five months ago, they screwed up on the time of my massage. They totally dropped the ball and I missed my massage for that week. When I came in the following week, the receptionist said that she would be happy to give me a small discount off. I gave her a look that was communicating, "are you fucking serious? Do you want to only give me --%? I can write a negative review." So, I came out of my massage and the manager was there and offered me a discount i was expecting from for the mistake. Fast forward four months now. I was having a massage and it was super loud out there, and I had to ask SAGE, the woman that gives me the massage, to go ask them to be quiet. They were. When I came out, no one said anything to me. No apologies. No recognition that they screwed up. Nothing. Even when I was paying, nothing. I actually had to reach out to Peaches & Cream to get the manager's email so I could email the manager. She responded and they said they refunded your money. OK great but that's not the end of it. It is not just about the money. You go to a place like that to enjoy the ambience in the atmosphere there. Their actions show complete disregard for the clientele. No sense of respect for the customers. So, I told her that. Fast forward a month later which was just yesterday. I'm getting my massage and they're loud. Can you believe that? Can you really believe that? So I asked SAGE to tell them to be quiet. And then they kept talking on and off! No fucking joke! Once again, nothing. Not a peep. Just crickets so, they have screwed up three times. The manager is not doing a good job at managing and I think she is actually part of the problem but I don't know because I don't go out there during my massage. So, three times they have royally screwed up. Once on the time of my massage, which was reconciled, and that was cool. Once for being loud. I had to reach out. I had to voice a complaint before there was any action taken on their part. And then, they repeated it!!! I see it as a lack of respect. I see it as them not caring about their clientele and their customers. I do not know if this is happened to others. But it is happened to me three times. The manager was there yesterday because I saw her. I do not know if the manager was there the first time. Are you ready for this? In fact, I saw the manager, and she said to me, "we will try not to be too loud this time." It was like a joke. UPDATE: I spoke with the manager and everything is cleared up! I'd recently come back to the SGV & hadn't had a chance to check out Peaches and Cream since 2010, and I felt just as pampered as I did when I was here for my first spa experience My esthetician, Skye, was warm and friendly and was able to do exactly what I needed for my brow maintenance I was able to book a massage with Sage, who was incredible! I felt so comforted during my appointment, and she was able to take the time afterward and show me stretches to help relieve the tension in my neck at home. I appreciate it that she went above and beyond showing me how to take care of my muscles & relieve pain! I love the kind of customer service you can get from a small/local business. After my massage+wax, Natalie was able to patiently take all of my questions & helped me out by running two different gift cards for me. What I didn't realized that one of the gift cards was so old that she had to pull out a binder to check the amount she reassured that it was no inconvenience & kindly let me know what coffee shops were within walking distance of the spa. I am not one to usually write bad reviews but this is just very bad service. I tried to book 2 couple facials online, i filled out the form with all my information to try to get it done for this past Sunday 4/24. I get a call from Peaches and Cream saying they could only do one facial and one massage, i agreed as i just wanted a relaxing day since i have a newborn. We need to book a babysitter for the baby, which is 15 miles away from us to trek back to Glendora for peaches and cream. Show up and tell the two young girls in the front we had an appointment. They cannot find the appointment but instead of being helpful they continue saying that i probably booked the wrong place. I'm looking through my phone to see if it was my error and i tell them a phone number to which they say they HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS NUMBER. Odd, so these two receptionist are going through now saying i am wrong( that they don't even book online ) I call the number and guess which phone rings? YUP, Peaches and cream. Seems they were incorrect, but even worse they were just coming up with 1000 excuses on how it's my fault. Left my number so a manager can call me back, so i can talk about their employees bad customer service. It's now 2 full days later, no call from anyone. .my review is a bit outdated as I've not been to P&C since the pandemic quarantine. i know much has changed though I've kept up from afar and I still hear great things about it. I used to get a theraputic massage weekky and a facial too when I had the time. through the years I think I enjoyed most of the treatments. I started going to P&C in 1979 when I first moved to San Dimas, then Glendora, now in LaVerne for 20 years. My young daughters and I had caught chicken pox around 1995.Since then we have all suffered from immune deficiencies. I had Epstein Barr virus syndrome and could barely get out of bed for three months. one has to boost one's own immune system to combat Epstein Barr so with my physician's guidance I developed a supplemental regime of vitamins, minerals , herbs & a high protein vegan diet with the help of a brilliant homeopath who owned a health food store in south Pasadena. I was able to suppress the symptoms in 3 months & lost 30 lbs as well. P&C massages & detox wraps helped my body heal through improved circulation and rebalancing my musculo-skeletal system as I couldn't exercise for a long time. I've heard good massages are like passive exercise. Well it all helped me as did the various other treatments, facials and body wraps. My amazing massage therapist Shannon had a specialized degree in kinesiology or something and was a genius who could read my body like a book. She improved my physical and mental health year after year. My daughters also enjoyed services there too, esp. massages and facials to keep their adolescent skin issues under control. My good health was augmented for years with massage and various detox treatments. I miss it all so much. just before the quarantine I suffered a devastating lower spine "re" injury. I had been badly damaged in a car accident years earlier and had always worked since to keep my back in good health. sadly after the "re" injury in May 2019 my back literally collapsed. (spondylolisthesis). I worked with orthopedic physicians in Pasadena trying to avoid surgery.b Because of the lower spine injury---literally "collapse"---I found a personal trainer and we developed an in home physical therapy program. Unfortunately I couldn't bting peaches and cream into my home. I lost the ability to walk without. assistance and I needed more aggressive physical therapy than I could get during the pandemic. An unfortunate hip biopsy that became deeply invasive tore up my gluteal muscles and ligaments and compounded the problem, so now I have a. very long hill to climb until I'm back soon at peaches and cream for as many healing and therapeutic treatments as possible along with my physicians nutrition & weight loss programs and physical therapy, I intend to get back to Labrador and grandson wrangling though it may take a while. I'll be 75 soon and except for those few impediments, I've the health stats of a healthy 55 year old...according to my Dr., I look forward to enjoying the various peaches and cream products, education, treatments , staff, and " healers"again soon.
