Came here after deciding I wanted my daith pierced and my cousin also wanted to get her helix done. We were nearby and found Hone Piercing; the reviews across all social media were astounding so we felt very confident to go there for the first time. Upon arrival, the waiting area is so cute and decorated well with seating provided in the front. The jewelry is on display or in cases at the front which made us so excited for our appointment. The staff are all very kind and friendly, you'll lose any anxiety within the first ten seconds. Kasra pierced both my cousin and I, and I highly encourage everyone to book with them if possible! They really eased us into the sessions, explaining thoroughly what step they were doing and answered all our questions with confidence. We felt so much anxiety but their calm demeanor really helped us chill out. We also laughed and joked a ton which made the experience all the more special. While I knew my daith piercing was going to be rough, I never imagined it would almost be like giving birth from my ear. I, embarrassingly, screamed a ton as the needle went in but Kasra remained so calm and reassured me every few seconds -- an angel and professional piercer!! I got my rook pierced here about a week ago, and the experience was amazing! I've had absolutely no issues. No swelling, irritation, or discomfort, which is a huge difference compared to piercings I've gotten elsewhere. Evelyn was amazing! Super patient, kind, and incredibly warm and friendly towards my friend who came in for her doubles and me, who tagged along for moral support. She made my friend (who has a needle phobia lol) super comfortable. Evelyn went above and beyond with helping her perfectly place her piercing, as well as giving her advice for future piercings she was considering. I came to Hone Piercing to get my septum re-pierced, and honestly left feeling a bit disappointed. This was my second time getting it done, so I had a sense of what to expect and was really hoping for a better experience. Afterward, I noticed my piercing looked crooked. When I brought it up to my piercer, she mentioned that I have a deviated septum, which was something that wasn't brought up at all before the piercing. I wish that had been discussed ahead of time because it definitely affects how it looks and how I feel about it. The studio itself was nice and clean and everyone was polite, but I just wish there had been better communication and more attention to detail, especially for how much I paid. Hopefully this helps them be more transparent with clients in the future when it comes to anatomy and expectations. read more

WOW! What an amazing place! My nieces and I came in for the Black Friday sale and were not disappointed! Our Piercer, Sara, was amazing! I've been pierced several times before, but my nieces were first timers. Sara took the time to explain everything from how it will heal to aftercare and jewelry upgrade. We also met the owner, and she was just amazing. She was even selling my husband on what would look good on him. All in all we all felt really "taken care of" and we will be back! So I had to get my ears re-pierced as they closed up after not wearing earrings regularly since the pandemic. I had gotten my first piercing when I was a teen and it was goofy to begin with - kinda low and on one side a weird angle. Was a little nervous but I'm SO HAPPY I came to Hone Piercing. It's clean and welcoming. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Check in process was so easy. Once you're all checked in and you pick your earrings and I then got taken into a very clean and welcoming room. I did a simple earlobe piercing on both my ears and unfortunately I can't remember the gentleman who did my piercing other than he was gentle, thorough, patient, and explained everything. He explained the process - what he would be doing, what to expect, etc. It didn't hurt AT ALL. Just a little pressure and that was it! This is DEFINITELY the place to come and highly recommend to all. read more

I've seen some reviews about them being expensive, but these are handmade with premium materials and sourced from local jewelers, not mass produced. I went in a little nervous, but they walked me through the process and explained exactly why they chose the placement they did. This was the first time a piercer actually took the time to measure and ensure the placement was absolutely perfect, even making sure the jewelry balls weren't too large. The piercing itself hurt way less than I expected, especially compared to the first time I had it done. I'll definitely be coming back in the future for more piercings. However, after my first appointment was canceled, I came in for my rescheduled visit and left feeling pretty discouraged. The staff explained the risks thoroughly, but it came across less like informed consent and more like they simply didn't want to perform the piercing. I was told things like they had already turned down several people for this type of piercing, that I only had about a 30% chance of success, that it's very hard to be eligible, and that I could be left with a large mark on my abdomen. For a navel piercing--which is very common--that felt excessive and discouraging. What added to the confusion was being told that I had "the perfect anatomy" for it, yet all the guidance seemed aimed at convincing me not to go forward the more and more the conversation went the scarier it got. I was also asked to find jewelry elsewhere and come back because their gauges were too large if I still wanted the piercing done. In the end, I went to another shop and had the piercing done without issue. I can't fully recommend this place, but I also can't completely dismiss them--the experience just left a sour taste. Hopefully, fewer people walk away feeling turned down or discouraged at a shop that offers piercings..
