All the massages I've gotten here so far have been lovely! Great staff, quiet, and clean, just a bit pricey but I want to come back!

Did lashes removal service ..the lady had no idea what she doing I was stuck on the bed with like oil or whatever she used since my eyes was closed , the stuff got into my eyes and burning and they bring like 4 ppl to help ...on top of it she speak no English and there was no communication....charge super expensive ..made an appointment and when I went on time oh the lady on lunch you have to wait ...yea I'm Never going back there read more

I have gotten many facial services done at different spas and had way better experiences at other locations. I've been to Body Glow on 2 occasions and they are not relaxing at all. I don't think I would go back again unless the things I mention below are corrected and the staff is more professional and has better business etiquette. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on outside your room clearly. Let's not mention the rumbling of the train every so often. The estheticians don't ask you any questions about your skin care routine or sensitivity to products, they rush through the facial process and are aggressive on the face slapping their hands on your face abruptly and unexpectedly. During my last facial the esthetician sat next to me using her phone to watch videos with the volume on high while the steamer was on my face for about 10 minutes. They wash the dishes they use for the facials in between product applications while you're laying on the table. You are trying to relax and they're behind you slamming cabinet doors, throwing dishes around, and making a lot of noise while washing them. The esthetician ended with a 20 minute mask application and didn't give me a shoulder/neck massage while the mask sat on my face. She just applied it and walked out to talk to her coworkers. The extraction was horribly rough and painful...my facial skin and nose hurt for days afterwards. Prior to beginning my facial I was in the bathroom washing my hands, one of the estheticians used the bathroom and walked out without washing her hands and walked right back to her station...I was disgusted and shocked!!! Now that I think of it I don't remember my esthetician washing her hands before beginning my facial either! The place is beautiful, my skin was hydrated after the facial but the prices are high and the service, attention to detail and staff need to be upgraded and better trained. If not, then they really need to lower their prices. A spa is supposed be to deliver a clean, quiet, relaxing and delicate experience. Sadly, this spa doesn't do any of that. I'll be going elsewhere for my self care spa days. read more

I went for 2 separate services and both times I am very unsatisfied with this business. FIRST, went for post op massages and 1 massage lady did horrible. I requested to not work with her and they still put me with her which was so awkward. The vibe was so off and it ruined my whole experience after paying a lot of money for this service. SECONDLY, I went to the salon side giving them another chance to see if I could just find a salon nearby me and unfortunately they charged me $180 to dye my hair extensions black -.- like why so much? happy with the service but very disappointed in that price of simply just hair dye lol. Worst experiences ever, not returning ever here I don't recommend. Too pricey and some bad apples in there. read more

Service was horrible!!! Not sure how someone can run a business without being professional?? The spa is located within the busy neighborhood of Jamaica therefore parking is very hard to find. The spa is very small located in the back of the salon with 2 pedicure chairs and 1 manicure station. Front desk girl needs manners on how to be more attentive as opposed to rolling her eyes. She was not approachable at all as I tried asking her some questions few times with minimal responses from her. Gel manicure and gel pedicure both were horrible!!! I felt extremely rushed through the manicure as my hands were never washed, never got a hand massage, and even a wet warm towel wasn't used (no towel was used instead the girl used the same paper towel that was sitting under the block to clean my hands). I had to ask the girl many times to fix my nails because she didn't file them properly or what not. The disposable nail filer and buffer block that were used during my manicure were given to me in order to take it home. Are you kidding me?? Why do I want the used and dirty products? When I have clean ones at home!!! During my pedicure, my right foot was bleeding on the side due to over filing. The girl apologized and I said ok that's fine. Regardless of my experience since it was a holiday I did tip the girl who did my nails. Personally speaking I find it very disrespectful when employees talk excessively in their language and they give you the stare down with a laugh. I have noticed the girls acted far more friendlier with those who spoke Spanish as opposed to others. My native language is Punjabi but I never ever tend to make anyone feel uncomfortable especially in a professional setting. I have had better experiences!! Not worth the money at all. This is a review for their deep pore cleansing facial: Honestly this was one of the worst facials ive ever received, i was very excited to have a self care day since the last time i had a facial was almost 2 years ago. This place had good reviews on google and was close to where i live so i decided to give it a try. First the pro's of body glow spa is that it looks very nice super clean and the front desk girl was nice. I arrived about 10 min early to my 12pm appt and was seen pretty quickly. The cons.... I paid $80 for their deep pore cleansing facial that said would take 1.5 hours on their website. Once she started my facial everything felt VERY rushed, quickly throwing products on to my skin and it even felt rough while she put it on. She didnt even ask me about my skin type, what i wanted to fix or anything, just if i wanted to upgrade my facial to include more add ons. I just said ill start with the deep pore cleansing because i really needed to clear out my skin! After she cleansed my face and exfoliated she put the steamer on (ive never had someone place it so far away where it was barely steaming my face) & used regular tissue paper to put over my face while it steamed. Thats crazy, not even a damp towel to really let my pores open up in the steamer. Once that was done she took off the tissue paper and began extracting. This is when it got worse, the extraction only took about 5 minutes... AT MOST. The most important part to me! She used a tool to quickly scrape my forehead and then went in with her hands for my nose and cheeks. She spent most of the 5 minutes on my nose and ive never had someone be so rough and harsh, ive only ever gotten pore cleansing facials so im used to extractions, and then quickly scraped my chin and took a few off my cheek. That was it!! I couldnt believe but i was trying to be optimistic and thought maybe she was gunna do something else and then extract again. Nope. She went on to the next steps and ended with those popular gel peel off masks and gave me a little neck/should massage. Which was probably the only 2 minutes that felt good during this whole facial. This whole process took 30 minutes. During times when she was either letting the steamer go off or the mask dry, she was on her phone and i could hear the videos she was watching while i lay there. Once she finished i went straight to the bathroom to look at my face and i could still see so MANY areas she didnt extract around my cheeks, mouth, and chin. On top of that there were clumps of the gel mask that was still in my hair and a piece on my nose... This was such a waste of money for a day of treating myself. A 30 minute deep pore cleansing facial... with a 5 minute extraction. The funny thing is i was hoping to get more services after this one as i saw they have a laser hair removal special so i was going to buy the package to try it out, but i rather not spend more money there. I ended up paying and just leaving immediately because i was so upset at how bad the service was. Hopefully they really take this review into consideration because although it wasnt one of their most expensive services, $80 for other people could be a big splurge and to be let down like this sucks. Literally the terrible service. The people who worked there had no idea what they were doing. I went there for two services but neither of them worked for me. The person who did my eyebrows and the person who did my eyelashes had no idea what they were doing. And I would literally never recommend this place. The Hair Salon : every time I come here, I'm sitting here for hours. I sat in this chair after they took out the rollers from 3:40 or so maybe even 3:30 I wasn't paying attention to the time but what I didn't like is that a woman whos hair just got washed is now being blown out before me. The time now is 5:30 and I was supposed to go to a cookout. This is every time I come here. Maybe they don't want me coming here anymore. Then they should just say that. Please be aware of this place they are very unprofessional especially the owner I have been coming here for years and I recently had a plastic surgery done so I purchased a package for my post massages. On my first day I was in so much pain They gave me a slimming massage a week after my surgery I was so sick that night I didn't want to come back but decided to give them one more chance before I quit and my second message which was done by a different person was perfect, so I decided to inform the owner of the wrong doing and instead of apologizing she treaded me like garbage literally. Visited for the first time today 8/13/21 to have my eyebrows waxed and tinted. The experience was very bad. The front desk clerks seemed bothered by questions about the services and was only happy to collect payment before service was provided. The lady did a horrible job with my brows. The tinting had no shape and was left messy. Her excuse was she was "saving time." Also the clerks at front desk only answered with 2 word responses when I requested an appointment for a massage the following day or after. "No availability" Wow. Very poor service. I came all the way from CT to do the Ombré Brow procedure. I absolutely loved what Elvia has done to my friend's eye brow. I arrived late to my appointment due to issues with my gps but Elvia still made time for me. She was very kind and courteous. She made sure I was comfortable and took her time with me. Me personally I think they are to expensive my friend gave me a facial for my bday and it was for $80 and they basically force you to get the more expensive facial which was $150 because it supposed to depend on your skin type but I definitely DID NOT get my money's worth I mean she did do the facial and was nice but definitely not a $150 worth and on top of that there was no privacy people kept coming in and out the room and the receptionist was rushing my ethicist to hurry up she came in like 3 times the only thing she did well was clean my blackheads but that hurt like hell so I definitely will not go there again and definitely not recommend my friends to go there I've seen better places and cheaper read more

I would not recommended, first when I made the appointment they said that I would have my appointment with one person which was the owner then when you get there someone else takes you. Second, they burn my face after a deep pores facia, I called them and they said that it would go away but it didn't. Still have my face black spots. My face it's been worse donde that facial. Honestly I think that the owner is the one with the certification as cosmetology and the rest of personnel her alumni's. So don't put your face in their hands. read more

THIS SPA IS TERRIBLE...NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT LOOK DONT MAKE UP FOR THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNPROFESSIONALISM for lymphatic massages but I really have to let's this be know....I went to bodyglowspa in queens ny, the girls there was very unprofessional and rude...when I got into the room the lady told me she didn't have any of the paper panties that all clinics supposed to have....so she found one under neath the cabinet hurried away....she came in to my room unannounced and just stared the timer as I was undressing....she then told me that I wasn't able to be on my phone (I wonder why ‍) so I had no problem but then she started to have a whole conversation with the lady in the next booth ( loudly) over talking the music that was supposed to be soothing....she rubbed my back and my sides very hard...which I told her she was being rough and she replied "I know"....she then continues to tell me I have fibrosis (idk how when I'm a week post op and I'm very swollen...after the terrible rub she then tells me to turn on my ....now with me being one week post op I'm not suppose to be on my back with out the proper equipment (pillow...bed...etc...) she then calls for another young lady to step in to the room and I told her that she wants me to lay on my back and I'm only one week so she tells me I have to stand up...now I done got massages all week long in Miami and all I did was prop up on my knees while they massage me...while standing the lady is pushing into my skin very hard...which I think she was being spiteful...once all said and done I got dressed for them to over charge me...the original price was 75 dollars...the lady charged me 80 plus tax I asked her to show me where it's 80 on the price list and she couldn't....I'm very upset because this lady had lack of knowledge of what she was doing and it showed...I have to let ppl know about the lack of professionalism and knowledge of lymphatic massage...that should not be rough....don't want someone else going through it...IT WAS A WAIST OF TIME AND MONEY read more
