I've been going to Body Synergy Physical Therapy & Wellness off and on for different injuries for a while now. They recently added a Wellness Room to their many other wellness services. They offer three modalities: the Normatec compression boots, the Celluma red light therapy, and the Hypervolt percussion massage combined with assisted stretching. My favorite is the compression boots. After a long hike or run, the compression therapy makes my legs feel amazing! Decreased soreness and tightness. The room is clean, relaxing, and easy to book. What makes me keep coming back after all these years is how good I feel when I go there and the service and skill I receive from Veronica. I have been working with Body Synergy since 2019 through a number of chronic conditions. All of their providers are exceptional. From hip to shoulder to back to neck--Brianne, Veronica, Stefanie, and Leizl have helped me learn how to manage my conditions. Brianne and Stefanie keep me functional week to week and I do not know what I would do without them! From symptom relief to building muscle and coordination, they have helped me return to activities I enjoy and understand the interconnected nature of my body. Their therapists listen well, incorporate feedback, think holistically, problem solve creatively, and are kind and patient. I cannot recommend Body Synergy enough, especially for anyone with Ehlers Danlos! I am so thankful for them! Veronica was my PT when an old back injury got triggered again. She was awesome and really helped me get back to my regular self. I still go see her every few months for a tune up massage that loosens up the tight back muscles and shoulders. The best part of her massage is that she digs into the problem areas and is more of a medically trained massage than a relaxation massage you'd get at Burke Williams. Body Synergy is a really fabulous place. Due to a genetic condition, I've needed physical therapy throughout my life. So I have 40 years of experience dealing with the many different ways PT can be presented to a patient. At Body Synergy, the physical therapists are smart, dedicated, well versed in modalities, and thorough. They focus on their clients' needs and tailor the care very well. They are also kind, which makes such a difference to a person like me who has a very complex set of issues. Brianne taught me to use walking sticks instead of a cane, and was so thorough about explaining the whats and whys of how to do gait training. Stephanie has really helped me focus on how I walk. Both of them are so tuned in to the work, and what is needed to help each person develop the best skills for their own unique body. My husband now comes to see them too! I like the size of the facility, and the front desk person Morgan is so friendly and professional. I will stick with therapists Brianne and Stephanie at Body Synergy for as long as they are there. Hi, I have been going to Body Synergy for over 5 years. I started with Leisal and then Stephanie. Both were first rate. I have progressive MS and am now unable to drive, so Veronica comes to my home 5 mornings a week. If it weren't for Veronica I would be bed ridden. She improves my mental state and makes me do ALL of my excises. Veronica is a tonic who gets my day started in a positive mode. Both mentally and physically. Therapy dog Sheldon doubles the benefit! I NEVER write reviews but feel compelled to share how grateful I am to have found Stephanie, my physical therapist at Body Synergy. After a year of working with her on a chronic neck pain issue that can trigger migraines, my headaches have noticeably decreased. Stephanie is able to find just the right places to release so I always leave feeling better. I especially appreciate Body Synergy's hands-on approach, rather than just giving me a sheet of stretches to do on my own like I've experienced at other PT facilities. Body Synergy has changed my life and improved my health and mobility immeasurably. Coming from Kaiser PT, I didn't know how helpful PT could be. My primary Physical Therapist, Stephanie, is incredibly talented at both diagnostics and at interventions, mixing exercises, stretches, and body work to help me recover from a lifelong ankle injury and a difficult surgery. What truly makes her exceptionally effective is the addition of her excellent communication skills. Healing is so much easier when I understand how my body works, why a stretch or exercise is helpful, and how to work on it at home. She listens deeply, taking my input in and adjusting to make sure the treatment is effective. I leave every session feeling heard, feeling stronger and more ready for movement, and equipped to care for myself. 0 STAR RATING. This rating is based off one person STEPHANIE, not the entire business. If I can give zero stars I would. It's 4:45 am as I write this review, I woke up to extreme pain, icing my neck and shoulders and taking a painkiller. This was my second time being treated by a Stephaine... first time was okay also not the greatest but I felt maybe giving her a second chance which brought me back to my second appt. yesterday. Unfortunately she did not listen to my concerns from start to finish. She asked me how I felt after my first visit and I told her extremely sore for about 4 days (she worked on my mid-back, shoulders & neck), to the point I had to take pain medicine throughout those 4 days. Not once did she say anything like she's sorry or maybe let me manage her strength on me better. Zero accountability. Yesterday my main concern was my sciatica not so much my back or neck. Right off the start she went in so aggressively massaging my neck,shoulder, and back of my head to the point I was saying ouch OUCHHHH, I told her many times it hurts and can she please ease up on the pressure that she's using and it's hurting me. Stephaine said if I don't use this amount of pressure then she would just be moving my skin around and there would be no point. I should have listen to my gut and walked out the room when she gave me that reply. I then proceeded to tell her i understand she had a job to do but she also needs to consider my concerns about pain I'm experiencing from her strength and for her to meet in the middle so I can handle this so call treatment. Again her response was dry with a simple yeah. This went on for 30min and not once did she considered easing up or treated my sciatic which I originally had told her it was bothering me. When she was finally done basically torturing me she had be sit up from the treatment bed and ask how I felt... like seriously I was very vocal throughout the entire treatment that she was causing me pain... I said to her I'm in pain and I'm so tense after this so call treatment she preformed on me and I feel zero relief actually 100x worse. She then said to me let me know how you feel when you come back for my 3rd visit. Unbelievable! Not once was she apologetic and had any empathy towards how she caused so much pain and discomfort. When I got to my car I called my husband in tears explaining my experience and the already pain I was feeling from the aftermath of her horrible treatment. I am praying that I able to pick up my toddler today and work because as of now the amount of pain I'm feeling at 4am is unbearable and could have been avoided she just listen. Stephaine I hope you read this, make some changes to how you can listen better to your patients, maybe show some empathy when they tell you that you are hurting them instead of dismissing & undermining their concerns. read more

I came in for treatment for lower back pain and was assigned Stephanie with David assisting. Stephanie did a great job in identifying the root causes of my issues and working with me on exercises I could use in the future and at home - not just working on the immediate fix, but also setting me up to be able to maintain my improvements once I was on my own again. Stephanie has a great understanding of how all the different parts of the body interact and impact each other and is excellent at explaining it all in a way that's easy to understand. Recently started PT with Stephanie for a shoulder issue. In the meantime a more painful issue arose due to a thigh injury from playing tennis. I had been to two urgent care doctors for the pain. One mis-diagnosed as sciatica and gave me meds that did not help.. The other gave me a different medication that did not really help either . Stephanie worked on the thigh and gave me instructions to handle after I left which made a huge difference in one day saving me the cost and a trip to a specialist. read more

I have been going to Body Synergy for chronic headaches, neck and shoulder pain. Veronica and Brianne are amazing. I mostly work with Veronica who cares more about resolving my chronic pain than the several doctors I have seen. I once had a level 8 headache for 9 days straight that would just not break. Amazingly the next day after seeing Veronica my pain decreased. Don't get me wrong, she does not always "cure" my pain but has definitely brought relief. I've been receiving services at Body Synergy for more than 2 years for issues related to a bad back. I initially was referred to a physical therapist and currently take Pilates with a physical therapy assistant and a Pilates/Yoga consultant, I also see the massage therapist regularly. Each person I work with adds their wisdom and experience to my recovery. The services I receive at Body Synergy have allowed me to continue walking without having a very serious spinal operation. At my request, providers have discussed my care to better coordinate the services I receive. I am unaware of other places which offer this array of services and providers. I came here because of a hamstring injury that made it difficult for me to even walk longer distances. I chose Body Synergy because I wanted to support a small women-owned business, and to their credit, all the therapists and staff are very kind and friendly. However, their business practices were not acceptable and I even got a new injury and further harm here. Not only did I not receive the care I came for, they made it worse and this adversely impacted my physical and mental health. This is simply not okay. A few things to note if you're considering care here: - For 30 minute appts, they often started late and ended early. The time spent on me lasted around 20 minutes on average. - They did not help me warm up or cool down. Because of the short appts, we always went right into the exercises. - The therapist did not work on my muscles alongside the exercises to support the physical therapy. They sell very expensive Pilates classes and massages on the side, so they are not incentivized to do this. I ended up going to another clinic where the therapist always integrates massage to support my exercises and healing - it makes a huge difference. - Their treatment plan was criticized after I went back to my doctor for a check up. My injury was due to over-stretching and I needed to strengthen the muscles and work on tightening, and they did the opposite. - They don't explain well. I never felt like I understood my injury, why we were doing different exercises, and my prognosis. - They don't keep track of their patient care. I was repeatedly asked what at-home exercises I was doing and in the beginning, they kept asking me how I got my injury for the first few appts. - Scheduling was a recurring issue. There were cancellations I was not notified of until the last minute. - It is a small facility with limited equipment. You may not get as much variation with the exercises. I'm writing this review so future patients can make an informed decision and in hopes that Body Synergy will improve their practices. read more

I recently experienced a severe back problem caused by a sports injury and sought help from a physical therapist. I found Body Synergy through Yelp reviews and started working with Stefanie Lin. Stefanie was great in first getting rid of the pain through a series of easy to perform stretches which was important for a 66 year old man. Stefanie also guided me on a number of progressive core-building exercises that will help prevent the recurrence of the injury. After a few short weeks, I was back to playing sports again! Stefanie is great at showing how to do the exercises, determining what you are capable of, and explaining you why they will help in the short and long term for building strength and preventing injury. First of all I want to say this is the most compassionate health care practice I have ever been to in my life. I am 34 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing a lot of sciatic pain to the point where it's affected my life a lot in the last few weeks. I wasted a lot of time trying to find a chiropractor (no one certified to practice with pregnant women accepts United Healthcare within 30+ miles) and wish I had known Body Synergy accepted my health insurance and that PT was an option weeks ago; this place is beyond amazing. On Monday I called and scheduled a phone consultation for Wednesday. I got so lucky; Liezl had a cancellation and was able to see me that afternoon. I can't believe she got me in so quick and appreciate it so much. I've had shooting back pain that goes all the way down my left side for several months now and it got worse as I didn't get the appropriate help. Today was a game changer. I met with Liezl and she was able to relieve SO much pain that I have been feeling non stop before I came here. I can't believe how different my leg and back are feeling after one session. She was able to loosen up the sciatic nerve area using pressure and although it was uncomfortable it was so worth it to feel better after. She gave helpful advice about different exercises to use at home and really took the time to assess my condition and work with me. Beyond that Liezl was so kind (the entire practice was) about having my 3 year old present the entire time. I was offered an appointment here this morning (!!!!) for today and wasn't able to find last minute childcare. Everyone was understanding and incredibly kind to my daughter, even as she tore moss out of a plant and sprinkled it everywhere while I was paying my copay. This office is full of kind people who go out of their way to help people and Liezl was very skilled at PT. I am so thankful for this practice.. I am in my third trimester and have been feeling a lot of pain. This is the first time I've had any relief from the intense pain I've experienced this during this pregnancy. Really grateful for all of the upcoming sessions I have scheduled with Veronica and the receptionist who helped me make weekly appointments for the next 3 weeks. *Okay, I went back and worked with Veronica who is also incredibly skilled. Love this place and look forward to going weekly until my baby comes! If you are pregnant and suffering from sciatica go to this practice! They are experienced and will help out however they can. I've seen a lot of physical therapists over the last 40 years or so but no one has understood my situation or done as much for it as Brianne. I continue to see her for a long-standing issue affecting lower back and right hip and she's addressing it from a whole-body perspective and making headway I didn't think was possible. Just a great place with organized, knowledgeable therapists. I've had lower back issues for years and the pain tripled after having a baby a couple of years ago. I've been to Nina, Brianne, Veronica for therapy & Liz for massages over two separate phases. They've all been very detailed, organized and have good communication amongst each other (not to mention different "focuses"/specialities). Admittedly, I probably had to come back for a second round of therapy because I was having trouble being disciplined about the exercises, etc (no fault of theirs!). I did feel overwhelmed the first time with new exercises just about every time I went in, so relayed that to them the next time-- they were a lot more judicious about what they sent me home with. I'm not a fan of back pain, so this time around I will definitely do what I can to prevent another bout! I want to add the caveat that I've never experienced ANY OTHER PT, soooo...don't have any comparison. However, I was happy with the service and outcome. read more

I've been going to Body Synergy for 5 years now. I first went in for back spasms for physical therapy, I've since been back for more physical therapy, massages, and now weekly personal training which I've been doing for over a year and I've worked with multiple staff. They give very personalized care, and are friendly and organized. The physical therapy was tailored exactly to my needs, they worked to get me an appointment that fit into my schedule and helped me return to being pain-free. When I have a tight spot in my neck, I get a massage, which really helps the spasm calm down, and they have given me great advice to help continue nurturing the tight muscle. In the past year of doing personal training I've become strong enough that I don't have back spasms anymore. Every time I come in, I talk about how my body is feeling that day and the workout is modified accordingly. They really care about the people they work with. I can't say enough good things about them, I've stayed with them so long for good reason! read more
