I let her know about my shoulder and neck being knotted from working at a desk and also doing a lot of weightlifting. She really got in there and helped ease all of my shoulder tension and was great at communicating and making sure it wasn't too much pressure. I also let my masseuse know that I had an arm tattoo that is still healing (at 4 weeks post-tat, I still didn't want any oil or rubbing on it) and she was super accommodating to this request! Super clean and relaxing energy. Everyone was very kind. As someone who is both regularly active and sits at a desk for work, I will be coming back here probably once a month for my health. Thank you so much for having us!

On my last visit a year ago I went in 45 mins after opening for a 30-minute Swedish massage and was…read moreassigned to Adrina (not sure of the spelling), and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I've had. She appeared young and didn't seem to know what she was doing at all. I mentioned that my problem areas were my shoulders and legs, but she informed me she could only focus on my upper back unless I paid for an hour. This was surprising, as I've had full-body Swedish massages in 30 minutes before without an issue. Throughout the massage, her attitude seemed off, and she was rough with her technique. Her arms were felt scratchy against my skin, and she kept using her elbows, which hurt. Even after I told her it was uncomfortable, she didn't adjust. Swedish massages are supposed to be soft and relaxing, but this was anything but. She finished early, leaving the room at 11:21, so I didn't even get the full 30 mins I paid for. I got dressed and when she never returned so I went to the front desk at 11:27, only to see her kneeling on the floor casually chatting with the receptionist. I've always booked online and had decent experiences here, but this walk-in appointment was a complete disappointment. There was zero relaxation; I left feeling more tense and irritated than when I arrived. It's definitely not worth the $50 (with tip), and I won't be coming back.

Not only am I moving better today and feeling less pain, but the massage also helped me release months of grief that I have not been able to process since my dad's passing. I couldn't recommend Heather and Core Motus more. I will definitely be making this my regular place for massages from now on. Thank you Heather!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed these guys yet! I found this spot last year when I was training…read morefor my first marathon and was dealing with a lot of pain and soreness all over my legs. I knew I needed something more than just PT or even a spa massage. I needed help sorting out the root of the issues and treating the whole body. Don't get it twisted. This is not a relaxing spa type of massage. This is what I like to call the torture but feels good afterwards therapy. I won't stay on a spot when I'm foam rolling if it's too painful, but here, I have to let go of that control and let them work through all the issues. They work the entire chain (it's all connected so if you're feeling pain in your back it could be from you neck and shoulders or even your glutes & hamstrings). Sports massage is not just for athletes, this will help anyone dealing with nagging issues or even to help prevent issues down the road. Though if you are wanting to perform better or feel better as you train, this is an absolute necessity and important self-care. I have worked with several of the therapists here, and they are all phenomenal in their own technique and style, so you can't go wrong with any of them. I especially love how they all consult with you first before going into the therapy so they can hear what's going on and treat you accordingly. There's no way I would have crossed that finish line last December or bounced back as well if not for the incredible team here. A special thank you to Clayton and Jennifer who are no longer at this location but were pivotal in my healing. Thank you to Mitchell who has been especially helpful the last two times working out issues with my back and hips, and thank you to Azeontoinette and Zan for helping me out in between my regular sessions! The team is all friendly and helpful (whether on the phone or in person), the facility is clean, the beds are comfy, and the CBD massage lotion they sell is magic! Thank you for the dedicated sadistic work you all do to heal our bodies!! #ThankYouThursday
