Swedish massages are supposed to be soft and relaxing, but this was anything but. She finished early, leaving the room at 11:21, so I didn't even get the full 30 mins I paid for. I got dressed and when she never returned so I went to the front desk at 11:27, only to see her kneeling on the floor casually chatting with the receptionist. This is not a relaxing spa type of massage. This is what I like to call the torture but feels good afterwards therapy. I won't stay on a spot when I'm foam rolling if it's too painful, but here, I have to let go of that control and let them work through all the issues. They work the entire chain (it's all connected so if you're feeling pain in your back it could be from you neck and shoulders or even your glutes & hamstrings). Sports massage is not just for athletes, this will help anyone dealing with nagging issues or even to help prevent issues down the road. Though if you are wanting to perform better or feel better as you train, this is an absolute necessity and important self-care. I have worked with several of the therapists here, and they are all phenomenal in their own technique and style, so you can't go wrong with any of them.
