I've been here a few times now and have had some good and some not so good experiences here. Today, I got a massage from Minja and was VERY disappointed. I asked her to focus on my lower back and neck since both are very tight and she didn't spend much time on my neck and didn't touch my lower back at all. While massaging my neck, we could both feel the knots but she avoided the knots altogether vs trying to massage them out. I left feeling as much tightness and pain as when I walked in. At the end, she asked me how I was feeling and I vocalized to her that I didn't feel much of a difference and my neck still hurt a lot. She asked me to sit up and made a comment about how tight my lower back is. I informed her that I asked her to focus on my neck and lower back when we first started but she avoided my lower back altogether. She avoided my comment and said "thank you" then left the room. Don't recommend Minja to anyone looking for a deep massage. Felt like she was just stretching me and rubbing me down the whole time as oppose to massaging me. Waste of an hour and money. read more

I've come here a handful of times now and each time has been wonderful. The rooms are nice and clean, the people are always nice, and the prices are great. I absolutely enjoy coming here to get my prenatal massages from Dee Dee. She respects a mommy-to-be's needs to be soothed and healed in areas that ache most and encourages proper breathing to maximize relaxation. As a first time mom she has given me advice on how to best appreciate my pregnancy and encourages me to connect with my baby while we are in session. UPDATE: from my last post (this had occurred a few days after my visit) Upon my last review I was very shocked that when Dee Dee gets upset and doesn't like your review she will call you on your personal cell phone and start harassing you, not to even fix the issue. To start with an example she said "you think you're entitled just because you are the client." No I do not, not at all. I'm actually just trying to get my money back that's it. Anyways while I was in the hospital she called me and I informed her I could not speak with her. She then texted me and kept texting me after I asked her kindly please do not contact me I do not feel comfortable and I just want my money back please. I'm not trying to argue and cause even more stress than the situation already is. Point being is I find it EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL to contact your client and come at them in a very confrontational and not a very nice way at that on their personal phone after the situation is what I thought was finished. The business owner calling me or emailing letting me know I'm getting my refund would have been fine but not the people that work for you whether they are independent contractors or not. A simple 'sorry you weren't satisfied with your service we will be giving you your money back' would have sufficed. Still haven't received my refund even though DeeDee said " was going to give you your refund before you rudely hung up on me‍" Yes, I want my refund especially after this. There's just way better ways to handle this situation. DeeDee you need to have some training on customer service skills because you definitely lack them. I came free for a Back Facial and European Facial 2 days before my wedding. It was amazing! This was my first Back Facial so I don't have much to compare it to, but I loved it! Been searching for over a year now for a spa where I can get a massage and walk away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I've tried various other spa's and thanks to their painful technique they the left me feeling like a truck ran me over and then reversed and ran me over again. However at the Body Center your whole experience is simply wonderful. They have fabulous masseuses who understand the anatomy of the human body. Their technique is to massage out your achy muscles while still giving you a relaxing massage. You walk out of there feeling limp and utterly relaxed. Only con- since they charge a decent amount, I wish they would do a better job of keeping track of the amount of time you pay for. I combined a 30minute foot massage with a 60 minute full body massage and ended up getting only an hour 15 minutes on the table. I kinda wanted my full hour 30 that I paid for. I've been coming here on and off for the last few years. It's a clean, peaceful facility and I always feel comfortable and welcome when coming here. I usually get late evening appointments and the little parking area feels safe and secure and is well lit too. When I do manage to make time for an appointment, I make sure it's with Kim. She's excellent at listening to your needs and talking to you throughout the massage to ensure those needs are being met. I've had just about everything done from shoulders and neck to glutes and legs and have walked out every time feeling a million times better then I did walking in. I also prefer deep pressure work and not many people can do that successfully, but she can. If you want to chat about life in general while getting your massage, Kim is happy to have a chat with you. If you prefer to lay there in silence, she's good with that too. She also gives solid advice on how to continue to maintain your body afterwards and going forward which has been a lifesaver for someone like me who procrastinates about taking proper care of ones self. I booked a couples massage for my husband and I, and we both agreed that it was one of the worst massages we've ever received. To begin, the ladies used coconut oil for the massage which left us extremely oily throughout the entire day. The lights were on the entire massage, and the ladies kept talking so loudly throughout the massage. My masseuse kept stopping in the middle of our 90 minute massage to drink water. They started 5 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place if you don't already know a good masseuse who works there. My husband and I scheduled a same day massage for each of us on Easter. We were called by the receptionist after booking online and she was helpful and friendly. We arrived to immaculately clean facilities and a warm greeting by our masseuse, Gina. My husband's deep tissue, 1.5 hour, with hot stones massage was amazing (he said). Gina listened to his requests and read his pre-service form. My appointment followed and Gina had the room refreshed and ready for me. I felt extremely comfortable with her. She did an amazing job. The hot stones were comfortably hot, as were the towels. Billing after was simple and straightforward. We had an incredible experience for a very reasonable rate. The massage and service itself was fine. Our therapists were mostly professional, but some things were lacking here that probably happened due to the fact that they are all independent contractors, so I find it hard to fault the business as a whole. However, I do think they bear some of the responsibility in ensuring they are hiring and training their therapists properly as to not affect their brand. One of our therapists accidentally? charged me extra tip. Lol. I wish she had fixed it but she kind of just glazed over that fact and went with it. I understand it's only a couple cents but the principle of taking that extra cents rather than fixing it on the card reader was just odd to me. I would've really appreciated her fixing it on her own volition, or she could've at least asked us if it was okay, because I know she had noticed her error from the way she hesitated after making the mistake on the card reader. She thought about it for a couple seconds then clicked okay. I don't really know why. I had a feeling that she was still in-training or semi-new. I felt so awkward about the whole situation I just signed the receipt and left afterwards. It was very uncomfortable. And it's not like we tipped low or anything either. I tipped over 20% of the bill. We were also disappointed that we never received the chocolates that were promised along with the couples massage treatment and that there was no explanation for it. I did feel bad that we arrived late which might've thrown my therapists off a little, so that's why I'm giving this rating a 3/5 instead of a 1/5. We paid for the full 90 minutes but only received 55 minutes for our massage. (Again, this is mostly understandable as we were 15minutes late and there was an additional like 10 minutes of signing paperwork + getting prepped for the massage room.) I was debating writing this review, but I feel like I need to at least say something about my experience. Especially as this was my first time getting a couple's massage and because it was also my boyfriend's birthday, I would've really appreciated that extra effort into making sure our experiences were amazing, but it is what it is. I know how difficult this job can be with COVID and everything too and I suppose we all just tried our best, but I was a bit too disappointed with the overall experience. read more

I called to make an appointment for a couples massage and a facial for myself. Went in the next day, filled out some papers, and then I went in first for the facial. I guess it was like a basic facial cause they didn't specify what kind it was. 30 min later I went in another room with my husband who was waiting in the lobby, and we got the massage for 60 min. My massage was amazing. I'm not sure if the lady's name was meriam or Mariana but she was the same lady that did my facial. She was very nice and polite and professional. She was firm yet gentle at the same time which is what I prefer. I didn't really have to give her any feed back because she was doing a great job. My husband's masseuse was also attentive to his needs like how he wanted to the pressure and what areas to focus her time on. We had a good time. The place has a very nice ambiance and is clean, no weird smells. The masseuses aren't waiting by the door waiting for their tip like some other places. The only thing I personally would have liked is to be informed what was being put on my face and what it was for during the facial. It was my first time getting one so I didn't know what to expect. There were different creams being put on my face that had different sensations that I wasn't ready for. There was a moment were she was squeezing out my pours and it hurt. But I took it like a champ. I didn't have any adverse reactions and my skin did look a lot cleaner after. So yeah over all it was a great experience, but it was pricey, at least for me. Got a recommendation to try this place from a friend. I booked whoever was available for a deep pressure back, neck and shoulder massage. Ms. Minja was fantastic and worked on all my knots and the stretching was really good. Mind you, i don't know if her technique will be for everyone- my husband for instance would probably prefer much lighter pressure.
