This was the former location of Scraps 4 Pets. I was saddened and worried a bit when I found out about a change in ownership. I was loyal, I felt comfortable with those who ran Scraps. Rest assured that those who did go to Scraps will be happy with the boutique that has replaced it. Much has changed, but I feel these have been good changes. The shop has moved a few suites down to make room for a self wash, bakery goods and the usual foods, treats and accessories. I didn't get pictures for the profile, but will on my next stop. It's triple the size of the old one. Obviously other than the food, I was drawn in as a customer to Scraps for the friendly and approachable staff. The new staff is just as nice and talkative so I feel good about coming to this place. One of the girls has the most mellow and sweetest frenchie/boston as the stores new resident doggy that rounds out the welcoming feel of the store. The prices are about the same and reasonable (not huge markups on foods- shipping some "cheaper" items online will still cost me more in total than driving down here) and selection is good. Hopefully with this change, the selection might even get better. I took a trip to their SW location and there's a lot more variety than Scraps had and more than this location currently stocks. Variety is a plus to me since I like to rotate foods and treats to keep the animals interests up (and keep food allergies from happening). The only new "must have" treat I have to go to the SW location folr are Merricks hooves since these little pugs need big dog sized challenging chews. All of the basic foods and treats for the dogs and cat I can find here. The bakery goods are a welcomed addition. The dogs love the parmesan bacon muffins (75 cents each) the best but enjoyed all the cookies we have brought home and the cat ended up liking the cheese cookies (75 cents each) the best crumbled up into bite size pieces. The dog wash in the back seems stocked well and kept clean. I saw a sign that it is $9 for any sized dog which is cheaper than a lot of places I've seen. I nearly pulled my back trying to wash my dogs in my little ass stand up shower so it's something to consider. The business/staff are associated with a rescue; the owners also run Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary and many of the staff are volunteers and fosters. That makes me happy since it's basically full circle of helping out animals: they help them find homes, aid with population issues by offering low cost spaying&neuter clinics, help with feral cat populations, then providing a place for those owners to get good foods and services to keep animals happy in their new homes. Another plus is that they're open 7 days a week. Weekends are our only time to be able to shop for the animals together and sometimes it was difficult to come on Saturdays and Sundays were closed. I'm a big fan of local business in general but I'm very enthusiastic about this place since it enables me to be the kind of pet parent I want to be. Good selection, prices, nice staff and business owners with a heart for helping- what's not to like? read more

One of the only pet stores around where you can get raw dog food. For anyone who has a dog with bad allergies, especially a pit bull, raw food is the way to go. We came pretty out of our way to come here and find raw food and it did not disappoint. All the way in the back left, they offer raw food that is frozen. A large thing of ground whole turkey is $12 which gets us through the week. They also had another recommended brand which was a little more expensive. The store has nice options other than raw food including dried skins, toys and nice treat options. We waited a bit at the register when the associate was on the phone for awhile for a personal call. She wasn't too friendly but who knows maybe she had something going on in her life. Very good store, you will be able to find anything you need here. read more

I stop by every other week or so just to buy my doggies some treats. Great, helpful, and nice staff. They have treats, baked goods, and dog food. There's also kitty food too. They have grooming stations and the groomer was up front chillin'. They do have grooming services if you ever want to take your pet. A self serving grooming service station is there as well. I haven't taken my pets in here yet but I'm sure they'd go bananas if they stepped foot in here. read more

we've been having our dogs groomed here (Centennial) since we moved back to LV last summer. Previous groomer did great job, but Christine did last 2 groomings. We have 2 special needs dogs who must have been intimidating because both dogs were returned looking like they'd barely been groomed. Christine is very nice but we weren't happy with groom so have changed to a different facility. read more

This is an awesome place for grooming! Our dog is a rescue and really fearful of new people. The staff at Bogart's is so patient and took time to snuggle her a little extra before she got groomed so that she wouldn't be as nervous. After getting groomed our dog looks wonderful and isn't scratching like she normally does when we bathe her at home (they offered us the hypoallergenic shampoo for her sensitive skin). Such a cute little place! My super picky dog liked the bones they sell by one and their fresh cookies. Took him again for a haircut and he was done in an hour and a half, looked really clean, and his hair is softer than a marshmallow! The groomer, Melissa, asked me exactly what I was looking for in his haircut, and when we were done she told me that he was a very good boy. I know she must have been very sweet and gentle to my dog if he behaved well, because he gets anxious around people that are rough with him. All the other employees were also very helpful and professional. My dog and I will be back for sure. read more

I have been taking my dogs to the Summerlin location for grooming for the past two or three years. The groomers have always been extremely pleasant and courteous, but that all changed today. A groomer I had not seen before came out when I arrived five minutes early for the appointment and she was not the least bit courteous or polite, in fact she was rude to the point that I had to ask her if they no longer valued my business, because that's how I was made to feel. She began without introducing herself or welcoming me and my dogs. Instead she began by bluntly informing me that my dog's breed is not typically groomed how they've been doing it for several years there, and which other groomers have been doing for seven years prior to them. Next she seemed to be accusing me of not bringing my dogs in for grooming as frequently as she would expect (I visit twice yearly for grooming). I eventually asked that she simply groom the way it's been done there previously. Next she told me there would be a twenty dollar surcharge for matted hair on the back legs. I told her that this is the same condition that my dog has always been in yet this is the first time I've been told there will be a surcharge. There were eventually too many blunt, direct negatives coming from this woman so I took both dogs and left. This woman needs to work on her communication skills because she was condescending, belittling and rude. There are far too many pet groomers competing for business for me to have to tolerate her attitude. Unfortunately, it's an extremely poor reflection on this establishment, therefore I will not be returning to do any business with this establishment in the future. read more

This particular location lacks professionalism. The past couple of times I've given this place a chance for grooming my dog. They make the appointment but never call you to confirm or remind and by not having this service it makes for many mistakes on appointments and thus many disgruntled per parents. Pearl and I just had our first visit with Bogart's and Jesus. I was nervous to take our adopted baby to the groomer because she's so sensitive. Jesus and the lady from the front both got down on their knees and greeted Pearl and took the time that was needed with her. I was so impressed with the staff and the handling and care that went into today. Jesus and the staff were amazing with my 6 month old baby who is difficult because of past trauma. If I could give 0 stars, I would based on the return policy. I am currently visiting my parents for Thanksgiving, and realized I left my dogs food at home. He eats raw Stella and Chewys. I found they sell it at Bogarts so I was excited to get him some food this morning. I went to the freezer case and the various flavors were marked from $33-$41 a bag. I picked a flavor, plus got some freeze dried and some treats as I like to support small businesses. The total came to over $100. The Stellas was $54.99. As I almost out of the store, but had not left the building I went back to look at the price because $54 was not something I saw. I love my dog, but $54 for a week of dog food is not in the plan. I double checked and it was not priced. I thought it had possibly been missed priced based on all the other flavors. Not so. I decided to swap out the flavor for one that was $37.99. The nice young lady working there needed to call the owner to get permission to give the refund. I wanted credit on my card, but they don't do that. I only given the option of a gift card or store credit. Seeing that I live in California, neither are great and I already bought my dog extra treats. The owner REFUSED to give me the refund despite the fact that I had not even left the store and the price was NOT displayed. I own a small business so I would never leave a negative review unless I thought truly warranted. I believe this policy and owners lack of willingness to adjust based on the facts stated above. Horrible service and statements made by groomers that the grooming was only for the people not the pet. Anal glands were not done even though requested and vet appointment made immediately after. Ask for managers number and was not given any assistance. Ask for my dogs' paperwork and was not given. Was told owner would call me since they would not give out number. No call. Horrible place with no one with professional experience consulted or acting in charge. No care about customer concerns. Would recommend a more professional grooming shop. I took my dog there for grooming for the first time. He has been shaking, miserable and crying since I brought him home. He doesn't know where to put himself, he is extremely uncomfortable. Love, love, love this place! I often stop in after getting groceries at Vons. I got a gift card from a friend and that is what got me through the front door. I'm so glad i did! While they offer a range of services like grooming, training, and so on I only get goodies from the bakery. They have a great selection! All healthy and made from scratch. They do have a self wash station where you can bring in your pet and wash them yourself. The price starts at $9.99. It can easily accommodate large breeds too. I never saw such a thing before! We went to this store because it was close to our house and they sell natural balance. I will never be going back there again! The owner/manager was rude, snippy, cut us off and talked really fast. She seemed offended by our questions and was practically rushing us out the door. When I brought up the natural balance venison recalls she looked at me like I had two heads. This place is as good as it gets. I have a 9 month old Maltese that I take in every Saturday, and she always enjoys her visit. I can always count on excellent service and prices from Deanna and Blake. I completely trust them with my pup and I recommend them to all of my friends and family. The store also has fresh baked doggy biscuits and an incredible stock of food, treats and clothes for all dogs, but what I appreciate most is the fact that everyone there seems to really love dogs. read more

I just picked up my dogs that had an appointment @ 12:00 for a groom and wash. I was never called to say they were ready. When I called the shop, I was told I could pick them up. I asked Jayden, the cashier, why they were caged for 5 hours, he shrugged. Then I asked if she was the only groomer working today as I noticed the sign for "Groomers Wanted". He flippantly said "Well, everybody needs a day off". Then he neglected to ring me up for the 40 peanut butter bones that I repeatedly asked for, I get them every month. He was disrespectful to say the least and not someone I would have working at my front desk. I've been bringing my dog there for 2 about years and just started taking the other one for a bath. I've always been appreciative of the patience the groomer had with our rescue and it's reflected in the tip. After making the appointment for August 1st for the grooming for both dogs, I reconsidered and let him know his customer service skills are lacking. I don't ever want see that kid again and will not be back. The person behind the register represents your brand, the job requires more skills than ringing up a sale. Perhaps you should be more selective, just saying. read more

Bogart's is just ALWAYS reliable. They carry all types of food, including my much needed Natural Balance that PetSmart doesn't carry. Their prices on food are very competitive, and they participate in the buy 10, get 1 free programs for many brands. The staff is also really knowledgeable about dog food. When my dog was going through a "vomiting and pooping every type of food imaginable phase", they made really good suggestions about which foods would be too rich for her system, which ones are reliable, and which ones are overrated. Hence my discovery of Natural Balance. Bogart's has a self wash area that they only charge $10 to use. They also have a stamp card for buy 10 washes, get one free. Always a good go-to in between grooming sessions for my lab. They also have a groomer on site, but I have never used their groomer. I'm just too attached to my other groomer! The doggie bakery is really fun. They have cookies, will make dog birthday cakes, and even pizza slices for dogs! read more
