Bogart's did not disappoint. We ate lunch there while visiting Red Lodge. The sangria was filled with fruit, and tasted homemade. The grilled chicken fajita salad was fresh, crunchy, the chicken moist and yummy. The queso was some of the best I have ever had! My friend, Beckie, had the sour cream enchiladas. I really hate it when I decide on something, change my mind at the last minute, and then the food sucks a**. Why??? why???? I chose the Chili Verde Burrito - big mistake. It showed up swimming in a limpid, green-tinted pool of tasteless water horribly impersonating as salsa verde. The main problem was that there was 2 minuscule chunks of salsa the size of a micro SD chip and they were almost yellow. Floating next to the naked burrito was overcooked, little white oblong starchy things that resembled rice but had absolutely no flavor or texture. Alongside these two pathetic offerings were strands of unadorned lettuce. No guacamole or sour cream in sight. It would've been nice it the server had asked I wanted hot sauce or anything else, but she didn't. The plate was set down and she left, never to return. I was hungry and decided to eat this abomination and was greeted to an oozing mess of refried beans. Wait, I thought there was supposed to be pork in here? At least my refreshing glass of water arrived 10 minutes after my food to help wash this crap down, thank you Mr Bartender. Ahhh, there it is - a 1/4 teaspoonful of stringy pork which thankfully graced the a** end of the burrito, rounding out the amazing experience. Well, at least the chips and salsa were very good. We always hit up Bogart's when we're in town. We love the Mango/coconut margaritas and sour cream enchiladas, but this time I was a little disappointed. The chicken in the enchiladas was tender but had no flavor, the sour cream topping was good. The Margarita are usually outstanding, they come in a beautiful glass and have substance, the 4 we had that night spilled all over the table when the waitress delivered them, they did sit on the bar a bit before we got them, possibly melted? Bogart's is usually a 4.5-5 star, so I hate giving it a 3. We had a party of 9 and the waitstaff was great. read more

I've been going to Bogart's for years when I visit Redlodge. Food is always amazing and drinks are excellent. My server was very sweet but made me and my family feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe when she sat down in our booth to take the order. At the end of the service we piled our dirty plates at the edge of the table where she brought dirty plates from another table and placed them on top of our while she checked us out. Before Covid I wouldn't have bat an eye. As someone who works in the food industry I couldn't believe that would be tolerated now. Again food and drinks were great like always but probably wouldn't go back anytime soon on the fact that service staff wasn't taking correct precautions. read more

Heard great things about this establishment, and was deeply disappointed as much as the depth of the crackens of hell. First of all, our server was very short with us. He was very aggressive during all of our encounters with him. When trying to explain that we needed a to-go item immediately, a member of our party was interrupted by his ridiculous interjections, multiple times. The food took longer then Jesus to rise from the ashes and i'm not even religious. When the food was brought he dropped the guacamole on a cell phone and did not help to clean it up or offer to bring us a new serving. Not to mention the chips tasted as though they had been left out in the grody kitchen for longer then it takes to complete a cross country road trip. In addition, this place seemed to have been the previous stage for A Bug's Life as several flies were conversing amongst us and there was a beetle crawling on top of my sloppy refried beans. I was surprised to find great Mexican food in Montana, but they have it at Bogart's (among other good choices)! Had two chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and it was as good as anything I am served in southern California. Our waiter was attentive, easy-going, and friendly. They are generous with the chips and salsa. Thumbs up. And I also liked the background music (80s alternative--the Cure, Smiths, INXS, U2, etc). Five stars. read more

Visited from WA. I ordered the fajitas, probably liked mine the best but it was wayyyy too salty. My brother got the Pirate of the Cuban, he had two bites and had to stop eating it. The fried pickles in it were way too fried and slimy. My mom got a kids burrito and liked it but how can you mess up a burrito? My grandpa got the Chile verde and it was dripping in grease and he got heart burn. There's several places on the strip that would be a better choice to eat at. read more

Horrible experience! I took a birthday trip to Yellowstone and happened to spend my big day in this town after Beartooth Highway. I ordered takeout from here with my friends for my birthday dinner. WORST birthday dinner ever. The waitress let me wait like 10 mins to grab my order, but she still messed up... when we got back to hotel and opened the bag, no utensils, no napkins, missing some food that we ordered like chips and salsa like seriously? Are we supposed to eat with my bare hands on my birthday? So disappointed! I don't deserve service like this even under covid. read more

Stopped here for dinner, on our way to Yellowstone Park, I ordered the Chimichanga, it was delicious! Awesome ambiant, decor, the servers were very accomodating and nice. Had a great meal this week. Fast service and very attentive and friendly server. Been going to Bogarts for many years, but they've really stepped up their game! Our group had appetizers (yummy cheesy queso is the best!) and pizza, salads and Mexican items. We also celebrated a birthday and the entire service team sang a rousing birthday song. Wish there was a negative star rating. We used to go to BOGARTS a couple of times a month because we CRAVED their tummy food and perfect margaritas. Yesterday was the first time we have been there in a few years and I hate to say it but we drove an hour and a half to be fed the most disgusting food I have ever been served. It was heartbreaking! I ordered my favorite chicken sour cream enchiladas, hubby had cheese enchiladas and son has traditional with chicken. First, the chicken was brown and completely dried out. I actually had a piece that I couldn't chew through. There was just chicken rolled in a tortilla with sour cream and green sauce on top. No sauce or cheese in the enchilada, just chicken leather. It tasted horrible, the chicken was gross and then I could tell that they had put the cheese on the enchilada then the rice and beans, then they put the whole plate under a broiler to melt the cheese. My beans and rice were broiled too. All crunchy and again, disgusting!! I did show them the chicken, and the waitress did kind of freak out and applogize. They took it off my check. Later that night and the next day, hubby and son experienced Montezumas Revenge. On top of it all, the place is filthy!! I STRONGLY reccomend you avoid this place. So sad!!! My group ordered the grilled fish tacos, breaded fish tacos, chili verde burrito, an chicken fajita burrito. The food was so bad that I am not even going to waste my time and yours with a review. However, just to give you a flavor of what we tasted, there was way too much cumin and salt in these dishes. We didn't even finish our dinner. Perhaps Mexican food isn't the best thing to have in the mountains of Montana...just sayin. read more

A very classy dinning experience. I am a huge fan of Humphrey Bogart's films, therefore I couldn't help but try dinner at this place! The interior is dimly lighted, with brick walls. It is decorated with Bogart memorabilia and posters of his greatest films. They play classic rock music in the background. They start you off with chips and salsa, even though Mexican food is not their specialty. I have heard good things about their pizzas and burgers, so I tried a jalapeno burger and it was outstanding. It was perfectly spicy and flavorful. My only complaint was that the portions were relatively small for the price you pay. Nevertheless, I would eat here again and get another burger or give the pizza a try! read more
