We stopped here for a bite to eat before our flight. We were waited on within 5 minutes. I ordered the BLT with chips and my DH ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The BLT toast was room temp as was the bacon. My DH said the burger was good. They have a great selection of beer. The service was OK until we wanted our check. That took 20 minutes. There's not a lot to choose from at the airport if you are hungry so I'm not sure I would recommend this eatery or possibly try another. read more

Overpriced, and medium quality food. Just about everything you can expect in an airport. The grits were actually very good. The omelet was mediocre at best and the sausage, oh the sausage. It is what I always imagined dog food would taste like. If that's not enough, the coffee is a particular disappointment. It tastes like watered down water. This is an alright place of you're stuck in the Columbia airport, then again your choices are highly limited. The service is alright, usually prompt. But they are just as quick to steal away your glass if they think you're heading out. The wine selection is poor. Don't expect anything better than a low end trader joes wine. The beer selection is somewhat better. They have a local beer, Sam Adams seasonal, and the usual suspects on tap. The liquor selection is that of a drive bar, maybe slightly better. The food is... Well it's edible, better than McDonald's for the main courses, but you'll prefer the McDonald's fries. I had the black bean burger and onion rings once. I had the fries add a snack the other time. The burger was a special. In sum, I wouldn't look forward to eating here, but if you happen to be stuck at this airport, you won't go hungry though you may not be overwhelmed by the quality of the food or adult beverages. read more

Ordered the cheeseburger twice from here and it was pretty good each time. The patty is thin, bun was fresh but grilled both times. Not sure if there are any options for cheese selection, but pretty sure mine had American on it; also included pickles a few sliced red onions, fresh lettuce with mayo, mustard and ketchup on the side. For a quick airport meal, it's worth it. My burger, fries (no drink) and tip cost $14.11 total. Definitely reasonable and the portion was just right. One piece of advice from the server - the Nachos are not too good, but the wings were pretty tasty (didn't try myself). Next time, I think I'd try the beer on-tap and some wings. read more

The sweet tea (admittedly I am not that used to it) was TOO SWEET. I almost got a cavity just having it on my table. This airport does not have a lot of food selection which is ashame. They do have beers on tap and also wine and other drinks and are a few steps away from the airline gates for a quick bite to eat. They prepared the me in 10 minutes or less and gave me a takeaway box immediately when I asked. The staff also seems friendly. read more

Just your basic run of the mill airport bar. Nothing special on tap or on the menu food wise, but nonetheless a good place to grab a beer and wait on that flight. I will say on this day, there was some sort of weird spat going on amongst the servers that seemed to be decently personal, but that made awkwardly public by their loud arguing and complaining to each other behind and beside the bar. Poor or disinterested service was not on display today. The Riverbank is a spartan restaurant in a small southern airport to be sure, but today's staff was far from disinterested. Our server, Cynthia, greeted us with a smile and kept us entertained and well appointed throughout or morning repast. My friend and I both had the breakfast quesadilla which was prepared "with love" by Corey, the chef who was eager and enthusiastic to make our breakfast. The quesadilla was good, really good, too good to be served on a styrofoam plate. But what can you expect from an airport bar, bone china? I was ignored for a few min while standing next to the cashier station. After the waitress noticed me she let another waitress know after she skipped me that he is waiting. I look younger and wear a baseball cap so she may have thought I was a kid. I was then asked by the waitress, what I needed, I said a beer and a water. She said take a seat. I did for 10 min. Then she reluctantly came up to me and gave me my beer and water. The average wait for customers around me was about 10 min unless you were dressed like you had a lot of money.
