We've drove by this place a million times until last week. Our go to restaurants were all on wait lists so we thought we'd stop and try this place out. When we walked in it was almost empty on a Thursday night, this should have been our red flag. We sat at the bar and the bartender on duty had the personality of a wall which should have been another red flag. We ordered 2 burgers and they were so salty that we couldn't eat them. We told the bartender and she could careless!! As the owners of 2 west coast restaurants we were not looking for free food just good food. When the bartender dropped the bill there was no thank you or I'm sorry just placed it in front of us and walked away. When she returned the card for a signature, then she said "sorry about the salt situation" ...really the salt situation!! $70 on crappy food and service in a restaurant that could care less about new patrons. We will never go back, there are too many great restaurants to chose from out here and if this is how you do business good luck to your longevity. read more

Food: Easily the best sit-down restaurant in Mauldin. On the price-y side, but it is 100% worth it. Brussel sprouts was for the appetizer were astonishingly amazing. Salmon entree was on the small side, but the taste made up for it. Signature cocktails were beyond believable. Service: Fastest turnaround on an app order I've ever seen. Server had barely walked away from the table before the app arrived. Drinks came out in a timely manner. Server was great, joked around, made sure we were good. All this despite being smack-dab in the middle of the dinner rush. Ambiance: Loved the aesthetic and music choices, however hard to fully appreciate due to the restaurant being packed. read more

Hours listed on website says they close at 11 on Sunday. Arrived at 10 and they were closing up. Which is correct?

So a few friends and I went to the Mauldin location last night to see my friends band play. I had been sitting in my car looking at the outside seating before we went to get a table next to the band. A table was suddenly empty, only one person with a drink had been sitting there. We waited for a hostess but no one came so I asked the bartender if we could take the empty table, he said sure. Well that somehow made us unservable because the little waitress wouldn't even acknowledge us or even come to our table. When we asked her later she said in a very rude tone and manner that we didn't get a menu from the hostess and we sat at a dirty table. The table wasn't dirty and no hostess was around to seat us. This little waitress could have been more professional and at least came to acknowledge us and say please next time can you let the hostess seat you so that we can clean and prepare a table. That is how you address customers. We ended up getting our own drinks from the bar. read more

We ate dinner at the Bull today. Pretzel was good when hot, but cheese sauce was too thick to stick to pretzel when served. Would not order it again. Cheeseburger salad was very fresh and delicious ! Needed one more salad dressing cup which was brought after requested. Fish and Chips were good and hot when served with decent size portions. We had Burgers last visit and they were very tasty and not dry ! The fried okra is beer battered and sliced into spears , which was pretty interesting ! The Football Game volume was extra loud, so if you don't want the loud sports bar audio feature, maybe go at a time when football game is not on ? The Bull is really more a hipster Bar than a restaurant, but the food , while all a bit overpriced, was overall appetizing and served exactly as advertised ! read more

You chose to accommodate your walk-ins instead of the people who had thoughtfully considered our options and planned ahead. You can't be a "first come first served" establishment if you take reservations. That is the ACTUAL opposite of reservations. read more

For several weeks we had reservations for 6:30 PM for 10 people on a Saturday night and at 6 o'clock the same day of the reservation the manager calls me and tells me that they've overbooked and cannot accommodate us. Extremely overpriced, average service at best, and food is nothing special. Mac & cheese bites are a little strange, but the biggest letdown was that the nachos had hardly any toppings (essentially just chips with cheese sauce and black beans, plus 2 kernels of corn, 1 jalapeño slice, and maybe a teaspoon of ground chicken which was $4 extra). Also, straws are paper so they disintegrate quickly in your drink. Very disappointing, will not be returning. read more
