They had nuts in them and they were not too sweet which was surprising in the best way. My wife got the classic chicken and waffles and loved them and our 3rd wheel got an omelet. He cleaned the plate so we know it was realllll good. We also got the fried okra as an app for the table and we were all big fans. The sauce took them over the top on flavor. We have never had an issue with the service. They've always been communicative and friendly, offering great suggestions on the menu. I love the inside of the restaurant. It fits the vibe of the menu very well. It feels very hometown southern which is perfect because it is my baby's hometown and we will continue going back every time we visit.

Next was the hot chicken ramen. I'll be honest in more of a traditional ramen guy but they make these weird combinations woe. The chicken was crispy and the broth was flavorful. This balance of sweet savory broth that some how balances out just right. The noodles were overcooked for my liking but that's an extremely easy fix considering everything else was good. I'd love to go back when passing through again and try some of the other menu items. They seem to take pride in the food they send out and I can we why people love this place.
