Unfortunately, this is not at all what I expected from this restaurant over the months I've watched it be built near my neighborhood. It's very boring inside and not at all the sports bar vibe I was expecting. I'd give the food a 5 out of 10. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Everything was just very average. There's nothing I would think about after or want to go back for. When I looked up the menu before opening, I was really excited by it and there was so much I wanted to try. Every single thing I did try fell flat. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. I had the truffle burger with truffle fries, and my husband ordered the tuna bowl. Everything was just bland. I couldn't even tell the fries were truffle fries. Our waitress was so kind, and she was trying so hard, but our drinks were forgotten multiple times, and she had to be reminded we ordered. So then she rushed back to the bar and brought them immediately, where they had been sitting for 15+ minutes. I'll probably give it another try, especially because I live so close. I understand that all new businesses will have kinks to work out the first few weeks of a business being open. I also understand all their wait staff was new, most of them having never waited tables before. I plan on giving it several months before I return and then I will update my review if something changes. For now, I say steer clear and go have dinner elsewhere! read more

Grand Opening Day!!! Rayford has been needing a new and exciting food experience! Bohemian Bull definitely answered the call and meets that need. We arrived at 12:40pm and were seated right away. The restaurant is fairly large with indoor and outdoor seating. There are large TVs throughout the establishment and a full service bar area. After being seated, our waitress Jennifer approached us quickly and took our drink order at 12:42pm. Jennifer was soft spoken, attentive and sought out to make our experience great. Our drinks were received at 12:45pm and at that time we also ordered our appetizers: Mac n Cheese Bites and Brussels Sprouts. Our appetizers arrived at 12:54pm. The Brussels Sprouts were crispy and placed on a bed of chili creamy sauce topped with feta and Parmesan cheese. I would rank these at the very top of my list for all time fave Brussels Sprouts. I'm a sauce girl so I loved the layers of creamy, crispy and savory. If you are not a sauce person perhaps ask for the sauces on the side. The Mac n Cheese Bites were crispy and thick in texture. They were decent but flavor was lacking some. It was paired with a truffle mayo however the truffle was very faint. We also noticed the Manager walking around to check on each customer's experience. He approached our table at 1:07pm and asked how our experience was going. That was very much appreciated! Our food arrived at 1:09pm. We ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger-plain with fries and a Caesar Salad with Chicken. The fries were good and no complaints on the burger. The salad was large, had fresh romaine, and the grilled chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. The only down side was the dressing; it was creamy but it lacked the tangy/savory flavors that a Caesar dressing usually has. Our waitress closed out our experience by giving us to-go boxes and we received our check at 1:27pm. Overall it was great experiencing a new restaurant in the area! Customer service is the key to any great food experience in my opinion. The great service provided by our waitress Jennifer and the manager acknowledging his customers was enough to earn 5 Stars! Great new local spot with 3B's that I like! Service was fast. Food was great, portions are good, bourbon prices are slightly high and the mixed drinks are somewhat small. Good spot to watch a game as the TVs were plentiful. Good beer selection as well. Burgers were on point, wife's steak frites was lacking flavor and little over cooked. They give you tons of fries and I wish the brussels sprouts didn't have the 'burnt' taste. Still, so close to home so I will back. read more

This place was absolutely great! Nice cheerful welcome by the hosts. Seated and greeted promptly. Drinks came out quickly and so did our food. The food itself was great! Best cheesesteak I have had yet! The onion rings were simply amazing and took me back to rings I had once had at Roxy in NY! This place is a gem. We will definitely swing by another day and try out their happy hour specials! It brand new so the dining space is very clean and dusty free. The lighting is nice. We were there for late lunch so I'm curious to see what it's like in the evening. The temperature was good and the music and TV levels were good enough to hear but low enough to have a conversation and not scream all in all I give this place 5 starts! read more

We took a long drive to Bohemian Bull after my son saw a Tik Tok video saying it was new and had the best burgers and sandwiches in Houston. The restaurant is at the corner of a strip center, and the ambiance was ok-not a lot of decor-but pleasant. The service was also just ok. Our waitress was doubling as a bartender so it was slow at times, and sometimes other waitstaff would help out, but our drinks ran dry multiple times and we had to flag over help. The food was also just ok. We started our meal with a beer garden pretzel, and while it was tasty, it was rather small. For dinner, I had a classic burger and while it was good. It was falling apart. I ordered fried okra as a side and I was the first time I have been given whole fried okra pieces instead of slices. It had a lot of breading, most of which I took off. My husband had the Wakin' Bacon burger and he said it didn't have a lot of flavor. His onion rings had a lot of breading and not much onion. Overall, the restaurant has promise as it has only been open a month, but work is needed in regards to food quality and service. read more

Loving in the area, it is always nice to hear about new restaurants opening up. I wish I could give 3.5. It was an okay place. The service was good and either the owners or manager was walking around making sure everyone was okay, which was a positive. Everything else was just okay though. Food was okay but nothing I'd have to go back for. Got a burger, fries and some Mac and cheese bites. Mac and cheese bites had a good crisp but lacked flavor. Burger was probably the best part of the meal. Not amazing but not terrible. I'd go back if someone wanted to go but wouldn't suggest it myself. read more

The food was great! my burger was very good, and my fries were even more delicious. I got my burger during half price Wednesday so it was six bucks. we also had the mac & cheese bites in the donuts, which were good, but I didn't get a picture of it. We've been twice, the first time there was a large piece of metal in my husbands burger patty, we didn't make a stink about it but that's very dangerous! The second time I ordered the same thing as the previous visit and it was prepared completely different than the time before. The fried okra were soggy instead of crispy, and there was a piece of fried shrimp in my fried okra, luckily I don't have a seafood allergy but what if I did? Also the fried chicken wasn't cooked all the way through. Again didn't make a stink or even bring it up, just decided to never go back. The waitresses always have more questions than answers. Forgot our order and had to come back and ask again. We'll stick to our tried and true watering holes. Very disappointing. read more

First time at Bohemian Bull and the food was pretty good! It took about 10 minutes before a waitress showed up but was attentive once she started helping us. I got the Big dill burger which was tasty just a little too much pimento cheese for my liking which made the burger super messy, also the fried pickles do get a bit soggy being on the bottom of the burger but still a good flavor overall! They have a good variety of side options and seem to have a lot of yummy cocktails and beer. read more

Great service and good food! Our waitress was very attentive throughout our Monday lunch. We got the wings with Cajun and medium buffalo - both were pretty good. The buffalo was a bit on the buttery side which I love. Cajun wasn't salty which was very appreciated! We also got truffle fries which were light on the truffle and Parmesan which my cheese hating husband liked. We got the onion rings as well which were very large and lightly fried, not my favorite but still good! We also got two cocktails which were well made and not overly sugary. The food is bland and not imaginative. The service was robotic - it seemed like the server would prefer to be somewhere else doing just about anything else ... spoke quietly and mumbling. The hostesses had more energy and were hospitable. The ambiance was so bland you would be able to guess what kind of restaurant you were in if you didn't read the name on the outside. Cookie cutter without any of the usual kind of decoration you might find in a tavern or pub - or any other kind of decoration for that matter - just painted walls and a few TV's. First and last visit which is a shame because we live so close - was really hoping to like this new business! read more

This place was great! I could tell by the early reviews on the food and service that it was solid. We went on 1/2 off burger night on Wednesday and the burgers were fantastic. I can't wait to try other items on the menu. I'm happy to have a go-to spot near us. I met the founder on Friday. Nice guy and I let him know they had a great business model. Been to the Bull twice and not that impressed especially compared to 3Bs down the road a bit. It's very crowded but the newness will wear off soon. Due to the design it's very noisy inside. Service is great and the tap beer selection is good but don't expect a very cold glass. Wings are ok but the burgers were served a bit rare and if you order a burger the way you want it chances are it won't arrive as ordered. read more

Ambiance was bland. Service was attentive but kind of slow; waitress was nice. Ordered the burrito bowl- the menu said it had beer cheese in it, which I thought might add a nice twist (even though the dish is labeled "vegan"- who knows if that or the jack cheese actually were). But I was wrong. It was disgusting. It didn't look like the picture at all. All the components tasted like prepackaged food service yuck, including the $4-to-add pulled pork which was terribly dry & frizzy, like it had been microwaved. The dish had been sitting so it was not even warm. It was supposed to have rice, corn & black beans but I could barely see any rice on the plate and there were maybe less than 10 beans and almost no corn. But there were onions in it, even though the server said there weren't. Guacamole wasn't fresh, which was a huge letdown, as were the "fresh" jalapeños, which were inedible. And to make things worse the whole dish was drowning in the beer cheese. Probably the worst dish I've ever eaten. And it cost a ridiculous $17. Major thumbs down for this place. read more
