The steak was ok as was the dessert. Honestly it nothing I'm rushing back to go to and there are better steak houses. If you find yourself in the area stop by, but don't go out of your way. Went here for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant is really nice. It's a low lightening atmosphere and fairly quiet. They have many wine bottle displays which I thought was neat. They have a dress code, so be sure to dress accordingly. The food was absolutely delicious. The cost was about $50 per person, unless getting a steak which would be more, and they definitely delivered with quality. We also had the cheesecake for dessert and it was the perfect way to end the night. However, the service was less than I expected for the scale of the restaurant. We had to ask another waiter to get ours so we could get drinks. The same for dessert and the check. He was nice, but never checked on us. It was prom night so maybe they were swamped. Benefit of the doubt, but would expect slightly better service given the scale and cost of the meals. Overall it was a good experience and we'd go back for other special occasions. read more

After all this we decided to have our company Christmas party here. With 30 plus people. The service was just okay. We didn't get our drinks served in a timely manner and the food was inconsistent. Not sure I'll be back. Hate to leave a review like this but I tried a couple times and it's always let me down. We spent almost 5k on our Christmas party and it was subpar. Do better. read more

We visited while staying overnight for a concert. It was walking distance from our hotel and next to a beautiful lake. There were eight of us and we sat at a booth by the bar and patio entrance. We had kids and there were kids menus and coloring sheets. We were there for happy hour and half of us ordered wine and I had the old fashioned. Highly recommend the old fashioned. As for our meal - we started with cheese curds which were a hit! The kids ordered cheese pizza, mac n cheese and fries. The adults ordered steak, vegetables, and fish n chips. I didn't get pictures of everything because people dug in quick! I will say the fish n chips were just okay but the steaks were cooked to perfection! Chef's kiss Very nice place and the wait staff was very attentive. We took dessert to go and both were delicious- coconut cream pie and chocolate cake. This place is crazy overpriced I guess you pay for the view but I ordered doordash so didn't get to enjoy it haha. The cheesecake egg rolls everyone raved about were nothing special there are no vegetables inside just cheap meat and cheap cheese and you get two skinny ones for $20. Kinda ridiculous! BUT the sticky garlic ribs were phenomenal worth the $5 a piece I suppose. Cooked perfectly and full of unique flavor the garlic chips garnish was delicious too. My family and I came here for Christmas dinner . We ordered the Jolly feast. It was prime rib, green bean, potatoes, appetizer was salad and clam chowder, dessert was red velvet cake, and apple cobbler with ice cream. I also ordered an order of chicken that came with potato's . The meal is advertised to feed 3-4 people I would say it feeds three if we hadn't ordered the extra order of chicken it wouldn't be enough for all four of us. All the food was flavorful . The beans were a little under cooked to my liking but that is preference. The roast came with two sauces and we literally ate every bite. One was horse radish can't remember the other. We ordered two drinks from the bar lemon drop and old fashioned. They took awhile to come but it's busy so I get it. What counts is they were made well. My server was Hannan he was very friendly and pleasant. He changed out or silverware with every entree, kept drinks full, and kept checking on us. We've been coming here for a long time now. Service and drinks are always good. However, the food has been hit or miss lately. We had the tuna tacos and the tuna was mushy. The steak sandwich has been fatty and gristly the past few times I had it. Now that the appetizer ribs are gone, there really aren't much appetizer to choose from that's not cheese-heavy. This was not a great experience. Our server Adrian didn't refill my ice tea and or any other beverages the entire meal. I found out that my wife's water was empty the entire night. Totally my fault for not paying more attention. They had ZERO issues keeping the alcohol flowing to our table. 3 of the 4 entrees the came to the table were lukewarm at best. The egg roll appetizer was decent, but not delicious. All of this use to be a non issue at this location. It use to be exceptional. I was up around my old neighborhood yesterday and met some friends at Del Frisco's in The Woodlands for a lite afternoon snack with beverages with authority for a BA/Bcal Happy New Year luncheon. As always, I arrived early as did Debbie so we sat in the bar to wait for the others to show up. The drive from the airport to The Woodlands left me quite parched so I ordered a Bloody Mary and I do declare that it was one of the best Bloody Marys that I have had in a long time. Once all of the attendees had arrived and seated, our host treated us to some delightful appetizers, Crispy Fried Cheese Curds with Sweet Basil Cream and Cheesesteak Eggrolls with Sweet & Spicy Chili Sauce, Honey Mustard, they were to die for. The soup of the day was a Salmon Bisque and let me tell you, I have always been a Lobster Bisque person but this Salmon Bisque was so spectacular that I may have found my new bisque of choice. For my main course, I had the Fish and Chips which were excellent and paired quite well with the Duckhorn Decoy Chardonnay. My arm was twisted into sharing a dessert, Caramel Pot De Creme, Maldon Salted Caramel, Butterscotch and Whipped Cream. As usual, we had a great time with stimulating conversation and bold laughter. My wife and I came here for my birthday and it really made my day. We came in and were immediately sat. Our waitress was one of a kind with how nice she was and got along with my wife and I's personalities. We started with the Ahi tuna tacos and explained that we were teetering between that and the crab cake, however my wife is picky about crab cakes being from Maryland. The chef himself came out and talked to us and gave us a complimentary crab cake!! We then followed the apps with mains of the bone out ribeye as well as the mahi mahi. Our side was the brussel sprouts and everything was absolutely sensational. The manager even came over during our dinner because of a difficulty with my Landry's membership and fixed everything for us. I couldn't be happier. My husband and I came to celebrate our two year wedding anniversary here. The server was okay. He was impersonal and we felt a little dismissed. My drink was empty and only refilled when the manager came to check on us. The server took our plates at the end and said he was boxing it all up yet threw my food away but boxed up my husband's (I had a baked potato that was barely touched). He did not seem to care when we mentioned it either. We also were planning to get a hefty gift card for a Christmas gift after the manager told us about a promotion they were running but when we asked the server about it, he told us to get it another time because everyone was too busy. He was taking care of the table next to us as well and their service was much better. Overall, the food was amazing and steak cooked perfectly but not sure if we would return due to the service.
