Boiling dragon has the best snow crab and shrimp. The sizes are generous and the spice level can be hot, which I prefer. I typically enjoy the garlic butter seasoning but have tried all the spices... they are all good. I have tried all the apps, they are all amazing....Nothing has disappointed. I haven't gotten around to sampling the entrees yet but will eventually get there. I have seen other people eat them and they are pretty decent size helpings. Boiling Dragon is a relatively new Asian seafood restaurant in Pearland. It's in the same shopping center as Pho Saigon, First Watch, and a couple of other businesses. I stopped by for some takeout on a weekday. I ordered the General tso wings, fries, and the Peking chicken bao. While I didn't go the seafood route, they have a bunch of that if you're looking to get your fix. The lady working the counter was nice and Boiling Dragon is a well-maintained and relatively small restaurant. Like a lot of spots in Chinatown, you get a discount if you pay cash. The food ended up just being okay. The wings and fries are a generous portion and good bang for your buck. The fries ended up being my favorite part of the meal, they were crisp and you can either get regular fries or Cajun fries. The wings, while you get eight of them, are pretty small but the sauce didn't do it for me. I've had General Tso's many of times as it's one of my favorite Chinese dishes but Boiling Dragon's interpretation was too sweet. And this is coming from a guy who likes sweet. It was so sweet that it was almost candied. I'm a big fan of baos so I was excited to try the Peking chicken bao. Rather than your typical Peking duck, this bao replaces the duck with the chicken (fried chicken breast), adds cucumber, and a mayo-based sauce. Sounds amazing but the execution was a bit lacking as the chicken was undercooked. If Boiling Dragon can work out a couple of kinds, they'll be a scorching hot dragon in my book. read more

I put some soy sauce on the rice and it was BP raising saltier. The regular fries were also loaded with salt and kinda burnt. I'd probably visit again for the crispy fried fish. read more

Best around! I got the snow crab and it was incredibly easy to eat ("peeling" was easy as it was cooked perfectly!). My husband got the General Tso Shrimp Fried Rice and he loved it. Inside of the place looks pretty similar to the pho place next door, very new and a bit sterile looking. The seafood is pretty fresh and flavor is all right. Not the best but not too bland either. With the boiled crawfish, the top of the bag is blander than the bottom half that's sitting in the liquid. We got mild Thai basil for both the crawfish and the blue crabs. The fried oysters and fried shrimp were not bad too. Both had a good crisp coating but felt like the oysters and shrimp inside were pretty small and you're mostly eating breading. The shrimp krab puffs were really good, creamy, crispy and full of shrimp and crab. I got a pound of crab legs, medium garlic butter. They were delicious, they had the right amount of heat and tons of garlic. I'm not sure if they do this with every order as this was my first time ordering from them, but they gave a small cup of seasoning and butter. The dragon bowl is extremely sweet, including the sauce on the Brussel sprouts, the dynamite sauce, and the Alfredo sauce on the fish (thankfully we ordered it on the side and just didn't eat it). The shrimp breading was stale as were the French fries from the bulgogi fries. It took us about 25 mins from the moment they called us to tell us it was ready to get home and eat it, and I don't feel like the food should lose its texture in such a short amount of time. read more

The fried seafood here is freaking amazing. I got the fried shrimp baske with fries and an extra catfish filet and a Mexican coke. Total bill was $21. What I love is that the fried shrimp have the shell peeled back ALL THE WAY to the tail tip so when you bite in, you get ALL THE MEAT no battered shell half way up. The Catfish was fried perfectly and tasted amazing and so many fries! You will not leave hungry thats for sure. I also took it to go and when I got home it was just as crisp and fresh.
