Great beer selection and robust menu (for a brewery), we enjoyed watching the game late afternoon. Fast and friendly service at the clean bar.

Downtown Boise. Lots of space, inside and out. Lots of TV's to watch your favorite game. Parking isn't ample but it's downtown so there are nearby options. Service was friendly and good. Good selections of beers on tap. Their amber was delicious. Was more thirsty than hungry but their menu looks great. Went with an appetizer, the corn fritters, and they were Yelplicious. Would return.

I went on a Monday evening. The vibe was relatively quiet and chilled out. I seated myself at a table and a waitress came by shortly. The waitress was fantastic, very friendly and attentive but not overly so. I was just there for a drink, and there were a few beers that I was interested in, so I got a flight of the Red Velvet Cream Ale, Snowboarder Porter, Black Cliffs Stout, and Dark Daisy Chocolate Milk Stout. If it wasn't obvious, I am usually partial to dark beers, but the red velvet cream ale was actually my favourite out of this bunch - it was really interesting and had a smooth flavour that I liked. I think the porter and stouts were also good beers, but they were all awfully hoppy for dark beers, which just isn't my thing - to be fair, the Black Cliffs advertised itself as hoppy and I was just curious to try it, the other two did not. I just like to try different things though, so I had a good experience even if the beers didn't hit quite like I had hoped.

Stopped in here while passing through to catch the apple cup game. There was a UW meetup that was very cool. The local brews were very good, staff was friendly and fast. In addition to the beer we had the patty melt... it was literally one of the best patty melts I've ever tasted.

Great food! I was pleasantly surprised. We had a chicken sandwich and a southwest salad. The beer was also very good. Service was fast and friendly. The brewery vibes were on point. The crowd was laid back. Easy to bicycle too as well. I won't wait in line at the Wylder ever again.

This is in downtown Boise area and nice brewery to pop in. Service is hit/miss depending on who is working. We came here twice. The first night we had food and the servers and bartender were on point and arrived to refill water, beers, and anything else you needed. The second night, service was slower and less attentive, but we got our beers. The beer is wonderful, the food is mediocre. The second night we ate somewhere else and came here for a beer for dessert. Beer: Witch's Tit is the Winter ale and it is what I recommend. It is dark beer with caramel notes and just a wonderful brew. Food: ordered the shrimp burger because never seen that before. It is a unique burger but the curry flavor really did not compliment the toppings that were more on the banh mi side. The textures and flavors were just fighting each other. My husband ordered regular burger and the toppings were just so wet that the burger bun could not hold up the burger and toppings. The salad was generous, crispy, and delicious. Restaurant cleanliness: above average Bathroom cleanliness: average

AWESOME! My boss recommended this place and I understand why. We popped in for a beer and swag and we were glad we did. They have a drink for everyone and this place is family friendly. We didn't order any food but they have a full menu and the food looked great. I enjoyed the Hazy IPA that the beertender suggested and it was a great recommendation! The staff was friendly and held a great conversation! TO-GO: They have quite a few options. SWAG: They have a few hats, a few shirts, sweaters/hoodies, beanies, metal tackers (which we collect and are hard to find). I would recommend this spot to anyone who is in the area and wants a SOLID beer!

    Better Hazy IPA

Great brewery in downtown Boise. Had their better hazy IPA and was impressed. Food was really good as well. I ordered the smashed patty melt and it had a ton of flavor. Great Beer and Great Food. Can't go wrong with stopping here.

    Empty drinks no fun

Typically I would love a place like this, but have been tested very poorly by the server. Guy with manbun made eye contact with my table more than a dozen times with 6 empty drinks. We stuck our hand up tried to wave him down and he still did not serve us. Super disappointed. If I am going to a brewery I expect more than 1 beer. It's been an hour now. Yes I could very well go to the bar, but that's not my job when I have a tale with food. Do better.

Me and couple friends stopped in to have a bite to eat and a beer. Nice and spacious place with plenty of seating. I wished there was more seating at the bar, but 4-5 gentlemen were already seated there. So, we grabbed a table and Jaren was our server. He was very friendly and attentive, he checked on us throughout our time there. Two of us started with a Better Hazy Than Never and our other friend had a Broad Street Blonde. I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos, which were okay. One friend ordered the Patty Melt with fries which came high recommended by Jaren. I had a bite and even the fries were really good. It was really good and I wished I had ordered that instead. One friend ordered the Southwest Salad with Chicken. I had also considered this, but I didn't taste it. It was kind of chilly inside which was understandable because of the large windows. I liked being able to watch the traffic and people walking around downtown. They even had live music for entertainment which was nice. It was a little loud and made it hard to converse, but it wasn't unbearable and it was a Friday night so, it was completely understandable.

The Better Hazy Than Never IPA!
    Alden C.

Not in the too distant past Steve and I had some beers from Boise Brewing. All in all they weren't bad and the two IPA's that we enjoyed deservedly I feel rounds out a four star score for our beer experience. The first IPA that we had and enjoyed was the Better Hazy Than Never. Flavors to spot with this IPA are citrus, fruity and grassy. The beer is nice and light bodied and it goes down smooth. The next beer was a Session IPA and I have to say we really liked this type of IPA quite a bit. The name of this Session IPA was the Sun Cruiser. Flavors in this light IPA with a spring in it's step are tropical, hoppy, citrus and sweet. It's also a light bodied IPA which we can appreciate. Good and promising start with Boise Brewing and would like to branch out of IPA territory and try other beer types.

    Beer flight
    Terry S.

I had a beer flight and a blackbean burger. The beer selection was good and the staff friendly. It takes a lot of concentrated effort to mess up a blackbean burger, but congrats to the kitchen staff, the effort was a success. It had no flavor at all, just heat from whatever sauce they put on top. It was served on toast...just toast that they somehow managed to make tough and chewy. They couldn't even be bothered to cut it in half!! I definitely would not recommend this place if you prefer meatless options. But if you are looking to sling back some decent suds...I'd come back. I'll make sure to eat somewhere else first.

If you're looking for a bangin' brewery that serves bomb food, look no further. Boise Brewing is seriously where it's at! I've always been a fan of the brews here, but more recently have I discovered that there food deserves a lot more acknowledgement than I've heard. We stopped in a couple weeks ago. I couldn't decide on a single beer so I ordered a flight ($0.00) - Jolene Cherry Blonde (6% ABV, fruity, sweet and crisp), Sun Cruiser (4.8% ABV, juicy, refreshing and zesty), Snowboarder Porter (5% ABV, a little too chocolately for me) and Oktoberfest (6.3% ABV). My favorite by far was the Sun Cruiser. It's the perfect drink for the hot summer day I was there. For food, I ordered the Poblano Burger ($18.00) which is an absolute unit of a sandwich. Juicy grilled beef patty, a cheesy stuffed roasted poblano pepper with fresh lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion with roasted tomatillo aioli. There's no way to really eat this thing without making a mess, or using a fork and knife. It is HUGE. And delicious. The cheese on the pepper was beautifully crispy on the top. All the goods were so fresh. This is one of the best burgers I've eaten in Boise. My husband ordered the Chicken Strips ($16.00) with fries. While there was nothing particularly spectacular about them, they were still delicious and he enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend and I can't wait to go back!

The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. I don't know that I have ever given a brewery a 5 Star review...this makes sense!…read more I have been doing my little Fish & Chips search through Boise and I will have to say, this place is Hands Down the best yet that I have found! Now I have been here a few times and I like the place. The service is good, especially in the bar. The place is very open and has great light and fresh air which I always love. Add to that some great food and creative cocktails and you have a winner! They have a great Old Fashion that is a creation of one of the bartenders and I think is just a fantastic drink! Balanced flavor, a little sweet but not too sweet...with a nice bourbon finish to it! Now back to the Fish & Chips...I have had them twice now, with the same cocktail to chase them down. These are what Fish & Chips are meant to be. The batter is light with a great crunch, not heavily breaded but a light flavorful batter! Fries are good, home-made tartar sauce which always hits...and all the items you want with them...lemon, vinegar and for me mustard! I will be back, over and over again. for a drink, some good service and the best Fish & Chips when I am having that craving! KT

To start, I tried the Pickletini. As a fan of pickle-forward drinks, I found it "not bad"--a solid choice if you enjoy that briny profile. My fiancé opted for the All Ways Down Double IPA flight. At 9% ABV, it was a heavy hitter, but he really enjoyed the intense hop aroma and flavor provided by the Cryo Hops. For my main, I ordered the TNT Sando (Tri-Tip with bacon jam and garlic aioli) on Gaston's grilled focaccia. I requested it without pickles, and it was excellent. I paired it with the Black Bean and Veggie soup, which was a standout--perfectly delicious with a nice "zing" to it. Unfortunately, the meal hit a significant snag with my fiancé's Fish & Chips. The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.
