The chicken was tasty. Albeit a bit on the bland side. I did not taste any spices. The biscuit was perfect. Light and fluffy and delicious. The Cajun rice was a surprising treat. Almost like the original. The restaurant showed a busy morning a lunch hour. Several tables were covered with past customer debris. Trash on floor. No napkins to be had at the drink stand. Most of the self serve items at the drink stand were depleted. The service was moderate to slow. Order taking at the register is the slowest I've seen in years. From my brief visit there for lunch it seems the staff are operating as if it's their first day working together. Didn't have that "We're all on one team and our mission is to serve" vibe. While running errands on Saturday morning, I realized that I needed to eat. Stopped in and the drive thru was super busy, so I went inside. We are staying a few days at the RV park across the hwy from this location and have eaten here a couple times now. I hate to beat a dead horse, but let the beating commence... I found the staff unfriendly, unhelpful, and borderline rude. Today's order consisted of a 12 pc tailgate chix finger combo, a Bo cheddar biscuit and two Bo berry biscuits. It took almost 30 minutes to fill my order. That's crazy slow IMO. My first visit wasn't much better and suffice it to say, there won't be a third. Do better Bojanglas. I went through the drive-through and placed my order, only to be told at the window that they don't accept Apple Pay and that I needed to come inside to pay. That completely defeats the purpose of using the drive-through. If you don't have the proper equipment to take common forms of payment like Apple Pay, you shouldn't be offering full service through the drive-through. They've gotten my order wrong, then will tell you that's not what they heard, even though she repeated the order back and got it partially right at the drive-thru then turned around and said we'll have to get refunded to correct the order. I waited in line for 30 minutes. I asked for fresh wings and I was told that I had to wait for another 30 minutes. The manager seemed stressed out and the staff wasn't paying attention to details of peoples orders. My husband had to go out to his truck to bring cleaning supplies to clean off a table. I don't frequent Bojangles often...I think the food is just okay and the service is less than okay. We do go occasionally and I'm always reminded why I don't go, last weekend was no different. Pull up to the drive thru on Sunday about 10:40am, 2 cars in front of us, 1 at the window & 1 waiting to order. There were a number of cars in the parking lot so I assume the inside was busy. We wait about 15 minutes to get our chance to order...The sign by the menu says in bright red "Breakfast served all day" We start our order, I wanted biscuits and gravy (last time I checked, that was a breakfast item), I quickly get a "We stopped serving that at 11am". I said "Well it's 10:57am and you serve breakfast all day, no exceptions on this sign". I'm thinking, what memo did one of us miss here. The girl came back all extra snitchy "We don't serve gravy after 11am, we're done for the day". I feel like if there are exceptions to the "We serve breakfast all day" sign, then it should be noted. If you run out, no problem, then say that. But by no means should you be snapping at a customer thru an intercom because YOUR sign is wrong, YOU can't tell time, and the restaurant doesn't have it's mess together. That has zero to do with the customer. The snitchy lady in the drive thru will likely be the 1st one crying when she's laid off because there isn't enough work to keep her employed. I'm from out of town and this was my first time at a Bojangles! I loved it there and had a good experience. The cashier was funny and welcoming. He made my day with his fun comments! I got a four piece chicken and Mac n cheese which were delicious. It was fresh and fast. The restaurant was clean and safe. After eating, we decided to try the sweet potato pies, they were okay. I am not sure what is going on at this location. It seems fairly new. I have left the highway on three different occasions to make a pit stop at this exit and wanted Bojangles. They have been closed each and every time and it does not make sense as there are no signs stating this and it appears there are workers inside but they won't unlock door or answer the drive thru. read more

When it's Bo time, and that's often in my world, I like to grab a Bo breakfast biscuit! This location is tucked away off Route 1 and it's big!! A nice, spacious restaurant so it's comfortable to eat in! (It could use a tidy...) We went to the drive thru... but it was out of commission so I went in to order. What a bright, cheery spot. William took my "complicated order" and unlike Bon Qui Qui, he was accommodating and jovial. My bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, with crispy bacon, potato rounds well done, and 1/2 & 1/2 tea with extra ice, came out fast, hot and delicious! No need to call "sa-curity" today! They even serve grits till 11:00 am. And I love their chicken fillet biscuits too! What a satisfying on the go meal! read more

The cashier working 5/30/22 at approximately 5 pm is a nasty person. I've never seen someone so foul they were comfortable being rude to small kids-but we found one here. This was my first Bojangles visit ever! Everyone kept telling me about how I should go to Bojangles but my experience was crummy so here I write about it. I generally wouldn't rate a fast food place but man, if you could hire kids that couldn't get a single thing right, then this would be the place. And if I were someone with dietary restrictions that could pose a health threat- just stay away from here. Better let someone without diabetes taste your tea before you take a drink a tablespoon of sugar by mistake. 11:46 am and I go through a drive through for lunch. I order a chicken salad with blue cheese dressing, a small mashed potato and an Unsweetened Ice Black Tea with a side of Non sugar sweetener. You'd think the non sugar sweetener part would've been indicative of an unsweetened black tea but the young guy at the speaker/window was kind of "off". As a mother of two kids and a near teenager, I just hope and pray that whatever job they do, they do it well and with excellence. It doesn't matter if you make $13 an hour or $300 an hour or if you cashier and take orders or you are a neurosurgeon, do the best work you can put out because that's YOUR work. Zero effort says a lot about who you are. Ok, end mom lecture. So I get to the window and get handed a drink. No straw. No sweetener. I'm patient and think its all gonna be in the bag like ChicFilA. Not quite. I get handed the food bag and there is no straw, so I asked. And asked for Splenda. He looked at me and said, "huh?" And I said, "Splenda please- non sugar sweetener, and a straw." so he leaves and comes back with Splenda and the straw. I pull away and notice that I have a spork for my mashed potatoes and I guess I was supposed to eat a salad with the spork as well? As I get to my salad, the greens, cucumber and tomato were pretty fresh and alright, the whole salad was cold, but omg the chicken was like it was sitting out on a kitchen counter for 4 hours. It was tough, dry, room temp. As I went to put my Splenda in my tea, something told me to taste the tea, and as my intuition suspected, they gave me sweet tea not regular iced tea. I don't know what the hype is all about. ChicFilA gets ir right and tight, every time, every location. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but it was enough bad for $18 that I don't want to eat there ever again. read more

I really couldn't tell you much about the quality of their food because I never got it. We waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes with maybe 4-5 cars in front of us. I don't think I've ever sat in fast food that took that long. They did tell us they were out of bone-in chicken, so how hard could everything else have been? We pulled up and we went inside to place our order. The gentleman who took our order was really nice and very helpful to us. We ordered three supreme meals with drinks. The supremes were dry, and not fresh at all. The fries were fresh and hot. The tea was not good. I can deal with this place being a mess, as in, the metal bins with all of the sides were gross and food was everywhere. But I can't get over an unpleasant staff. Ordered our food to go, and it was set in front of us on a tray. When I said that we needed it to go, the cashier responded "Oh" and walked away back to the register. When we asked for our drinks, no one seemed to want to help. The food was fine. I'd rather Popeyes or KFC any day. If you do come here, I suggest the drive through. read more
