We stop here when traveling back to Raleigh. Everytime, they never disappoint! The food is hot and fresh. However, my spouse is from this area - so they know the best times to go and know things will be good (I think it's a small town thing). The most interesting thing with this Bojangles (most down in this area) are the things they serve that you don't see in Raleigh. They had the Cheddar Bos before Raleigh even knew what they were, grits, BROWN and WHITE gravy, creamy slaw, the sauces are different, and they have roasted chicken bites (eat your heart out Chic Fil A)! Now, service can be hit or miss. You have some that are friendly, rude, and just confused. It's a gamble which one, but hey what can you do? This time we ordered: 2 sausage and egg biscuits (2 for $4) 1 Picnic sized Mashed Potatoes with Brown Gravy (Note: if you are a white gravy lover, be specific or you will get brown gravy by default!) 2 Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Slaw (2 for $5) Total: $13 The pulled pork sandwiches were really tasty. This was our first time having them and I would definitely get it again. The pork had a sauce on it, it wasn't over powering at all. You could still taste the smokiness of the meat. The slaw was a pleasant combination to the overall flavor combo. Nicely done there. Future reference one sandwich is $4. The biscuits we had the next morning. Warmed up good and everything was just right. Tasted as if we had just ordered them. Pro Tip: when heating up your biscuits, wrap them in a damp paper towel and warm in 30 sec intervals. read more

3:30, Friday afternoon. Hit the drive through for a Cajun Filet Biscuit. Placed my order, eased up to the window. First clue it wasn't a good day at this Bojangles? "That will be $17.72!", Nope. just ordered a biscuit. Confusion reigns, delay ensues. Good Good Good. Finally, the promised snack arrived. Moved on down the highway. When I found a straight section of highway, I teased open the bag, and brought out the much anticipated biscuit. It was warm, so check that box. Bit down, no joy. Biscuit: hard. Cajun Filet: Harder. That biscuit may have been under a heat lamp since Christ walked the earth, or at least three hours. The biscuit had lost its fluff and was just the perfect accompaniment for the rock hard filet. If I was a litterer, it wouid have hit the highway. I was too far away to go back. And the kicker? I didn't even get a receipt. Someone needs to fix their training. my boyfriend and I had just landed in North Carolina for the first time and came into this restaurant. Wow we found a gem!! The fried chicken is absolutely amazing plus G'Asia at the register was fabulous!! She was so welcoming and helped us order the best food they have!! Waited over 18 minutes for chicken. They said it would only take 3 minutes because they had run out of legs and thighs. 18 minutes later and finally got my chicken. No apology or nothing. Completely unsat!!! read more

Someone made a wise decision in locating a fast food restaurant between Kinston & Goldsboro on hwy 70. The fact that it is a Bojangles made it an even smarter decision! Ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich combo. Food was ready quickly. Paired of course with Bojangles sweet iced tea. Enjoyed my meal & was quickly back on the road. read more

Sure its a fast food chain, but it's an okay place. I like Bojangles for what it is -- quick, albeit often greasy -- chicken. This location was reasonably clean and the staff did a good job keeping up with the Sunday afternoon crowds, but if my visit on this day was any indication -- I won't stop by here again on a Sunday afternoon. The food is old and dried out. Seriously. It tasted and looked as though it had been sitting under the warmer for hours. II couldn't figure that out as there were lots of people, enough to make me presume the kitchen was trying to keep up with the demand. Compared to other Bojangles, this location was was passable at best. Next time I have a fast-food fried chicken craving when I'm in this area, I'll keep driving. read more

Went through the drive through about 8 cars i front, it took 8 minutes to serve each car and it was impossible to leave the line because of the junk in the parking lot, and some of the order was messed up when I got it. read more

I'm not big on the fast food except In n Out Burger and maybe Taco Bell, but I was desperate and on my way to the airport in Raleigh after finishing up work in Goldsboro and still hadn't eaten by 2pm that day. The grilled chicken sandwich I ordered didn't seem safe to eat and had more mayo- warm mayo- than anything else. Seriously considered tossing it out the window on the highway to get the smell and assumed food poisoning away from me. It was that gross but I waited until I got to the airport to throw it out so settle down, hippies. read more

Miss Danita took my order and then assisted in preparing my order. I requested a 3rd bleu cheese dressing which I was told would be 27 cents. I didn't have change and only my Navy Federal card, Danita said that it was ok and didn't make a scene about it. If you're looking at this, you are probably traveling to/from the beach and wondering: Oh where can I take my kiddies to eat on this baren highway 70? This is a pretty typical Bojangles. Not the best, not the worst. Inconsistent from one day to the next. Also, Bojangles? Are you there? Hello?
