This Bojangles was Bojanglin' tonight! Just ordered some fried chicken with fixins and it was ON POINT.

My friend from West Virginia graciously picked me up from CLT airport on Veterans Day 2025. We headed north and made a stop for dinner at this Bojangles restaurant in Huntersville. We arrived after 6pm that evening and thankfully, they were still open on a holiday. The restaurant was empty and we got our pick to wherever we wanted to dine in and eat. Bojangles is eerily similar to Popeyes, it's unreal. We spent about 45 minutes from ordering and eating before we refilled our soda cup for the long drive ahead. I ended up getting a 3 pc meal with a side and a drink. My friend got the chicken tenders meal. The staff here was very friendly and the food was typical of being fast food, but you can't go wrong with fried chicken during the first stops after getting off the plane. The chicken was delicious and crispy. I particularly love the dirty rice and wished I had purchased an extra large for later, but didn't. The meal was budget friendly for travelers and for those who just want to save money. The restaurant itself was very roomy and clean. We saw two people here that night but that was it. The overall experience here at this Bojangle's restaurant in Huntersville was nice and quiet, especially because I enjoy the quiet while dining in. The self service drink station had your usual favorites, so that's a good thing. It felt like a slow night for them and it was nice to come over here to have some fried chicken before we drove north to West Virginia for the evening. The food was fast food but was refreshing because we don't have Bojangles in Hawaii yet. They have a restroom facilities too for weary road warriors who travel thru. Always a good thing. For the most part though, it was cool that Bojangles was on the way home that night. Something simple and not complicated, while being delicious and easy. While hearing the employees chatter amongst themselves during the downtime is a concern, it should be kept to a minimum. Other than that, it was a nice dinner spot. This Bojangles restaurant is located in Huntersville, NC. It's pretty close to the CLT international airport, if you are feeling like Bojangles before your departure or after you arrive. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have a generous parking area surrounding the restaurant. I'm not sure if there is regional bus service to get from CLT international airport or not, but ideally, you'd rent a car or hire an Uber or Lyft to get you here. The worst. Ordered through DoorDash and only got a biscuit. They didn't even START making it until after the dasher arrived at the store and inquired where my food was. It then took 40 minutes to get it because it took over a half hour. To cook. A. Biscuit. Avoid at all costs. read more

Double check the order to make sure that the correct items are in there carry out bag. It may be helpful to allow the customer to take a quick look at the order to give the OK before they leave. read more

Normally, I wouldn't even eat here, but it was quick and I needed to grab something quick. I ordered my food and afterwards I continued to hear the conversation among the workers yet people were waiting to get their food. I should have known to check everything before I drove off, I had strips and fries, but the fries were burnt so they were chips. I know nobody cares, but people can get sick. I'm very disappointed in what I paid $8.00 for. It was supposed to have been a 2 piece box of white meat. What I got was a wind and fried chicken scraps. Not 1 piece of breast meat in the box. So I gave them my order and drove up to the window, but forgot to order a couple of sides, so I asked if it was ok to add, but was immediately caught with a cold response of no we don't do that, so l respectfully just accepted their rude response and continued to get my food. When they gave me my food, I went to check the bag and was told that everything was in there. Drove the 20 minutes home and guess what, they left out part of my order. SURPRISE! SURPRISED! If you aren't going to allow me to add at the window, at least get the order right. And if you're going to scold me for checking the bag to make sure it's right, you should make a policy that if you don't get it right, you'll drive it out to me. Hmmm...I know it's fast food, and I know I should consider the source, and I know people make mistakes, but to not allow me to add anything at the window because I forgot to order it at the speaker, and then scold me for wanting to make sure my order was right, you should at least BE RIGHT! read more

There's a reason why Chick Fil A is the undisputed champion of chicken to include the professionals at customer service. Bojangles is the bottom of the barrel option for fast food. This is where people who genuinely don't give a S**T work! I don't think anyone intentionally goes out to eat Bojangles, it happens by accident or as a last resort. It's not a coincidence that every single Bojangles has TERRIBLE reviews! I'll post a picture of two Cajun Filet biscuits I ordered early in the morning and BOTH of them were BURNT to a CRISP!! Completely inedible and disgusting! Anyone employee that serves this to a customer should be FIRED on the spot! And the audacity of fast food workers to demand higher pay is laughable. read more

As long as the batter isn't too thick, fried chicken is good on a keto diet. So I stopped in to this Bojangles and got a quarter chicken for lunch. Service at the counter was good and they put my lunch order together quickly. Chicken was hot and fresh with the right amount of spiciness. Cole slaw was a bit mushy and was not as fresh as it could have been. I took one small bite of the biscuit just to test - quite salty but fluffy. I have been 3 times in 4 months to 2 locations. Both forgot items on family meals. First time was a side and the biscuits at Cornelius location. Next time the Huntersville location gave me only 1 of the 3 sides choices, the other 2 choices I did not order. Last time it was only 1 side that was incorrect. By far one of my worst Bojangles experiences yet. The chicken supremes I received were cold and smaller than my biscuit. The biscuit was burned. The sweet tea was literally water with a splash of tea. The fries were halfway cooked. This one star rating is specifically for the quality of food. I asked for fresh fries, FRESH out of the grease, they weren't fresh, the girl looked & said with an attitude "they are fresh, her keeping her face in her phone was way more important. I'm not one to give bad reviews but today sucked even my wife agreed she's pregnant & wanted a quick snack for the ride back home. I have no complaints. This location has been open for a few weeks now and I just got around to check it out. It is a beautiful facility with a 100.5 rating which is always a good thing. The -piece chicken finger meal with fries and sweet tea is the staple in my house so that was was on the menu today. The tea and chicken were pretty good. The fries were hot and fantastic! I'm a northerner and this was my first time at a Bojangles. Walking distance from my hotel. Loved it. Not only was the chicken good; the sides were as well. I have been to this location many times for takeout over the past three years. They have consistently got my orders wrong. Always something missing. Last night after waiting ten minutes to place my order at the drive thru, I was told it would be a 20 minute wait. I was ok with that. This Bojangles location has to be the absolute worst service ever. I don't live far so I've gone more than a few times - and they have NEVER gotten my order correct. EVER. It doesn't matter how simple the order may be - you always end up with something missing and usually something added you didn't order. Example - just last week I ordered: 2 boberry biscuits 1 plain biscuit 1 large order of botato-rounds. I got: 2 Boberry Biscuits 2 plain biscuits No botato-rounds Before then - Ordered: 4 Biscuits 1 side of Mac and cheese Got: 5 Biscuits 1 chicken tender (1???) 1 Mashed potato and gravy There is some lack of communication between the person who takes your order in the drive thru and the employees who put together the meals. They just can't seem to get it right. I've gotten in the habit of pulling around the front, checking the food, only to have to go in and ask for whatever was missing. This USED to be the nicer Bojangles in Huntersville, but has gone way down hill within the last year or so.
