Putting two sandwiches in a bag instead of one is hard work around here. Several reviews share the same experience of missing food. Shocker. Boycott this Bojangles out of existence. My husband went to the drive thru and ordered 2 meals and was only given so had to turn around and go back and get the other order. Says she was trying to tell him before he drove off but not true. After we get home and look at the chicken you can tell it has been setting under the warmer for a while. Not freshly cooked and taste how it looks. See for yourself. Worst money ever spent. I'm not one to write a review for a fast food place, but after seeing the reviews this location had, I needed to add my opinion! Not sure if this is a new location, or it had a heck of a face lift. Either way, it was SO clean inside, and looked brand new. It is obvious that they are also affected by the shortage of people wanting to work, but they still did a great job getting orders taken and food out quickly! Once I arrive I stand next to the pick up area and tried talking to a female worker but she decided to act like she can't hear me. Dirty with very slow service. Down in Mooresville at lunch time today so I decided to give this Bojangles a try. Perched on a hill overlooking Hwy 150 so driveways are steep and traffic flow is limited. Decided to skip the drive though since I could see it was not moving. Only one register so there was a line but at least the line did move although somewhat slow. Ordered one of the $5 Combo Boxes (Chicken Breast) with Cajun Pinto's and a Biscuit and drink to go which I took back to my office. In general the food was typical Bojangles. Would have been nice to have a spoon for my Beans however. There was none in the box and none were out over where you get the lids although plastic knifes were there. That was the good side. Place is filthy. Every trash can was overflowing and you could not dispose of your trash. Floor was in desperate need of being mopped and some people were busing the tables in order to find a place to eat. In general, I like Bojangles but this is one that for the near future, I will not patronize. read more

was here to pick up doordash and food was sitting right in front of me ready with no drinks. Waited patiently for a good ten minutes (it was busy i was very courteous) and once some one approached the front counter to take the dining room orders i told them i was there for door dash and the lady was nice and reassured me it was almost ready .... the problem was the worker that she reassured i was there ... she started popping off at the mouth as if i was rushing her ??? Nobody shouldnt be that mad this early i wasnt nasty or nothing with the workers so why give attitude ? you chose to work here and im pretty sure you knew you were going to have to deal with customers i mean was it in the job description or not when you applied ??? To avoid conflict i unassigned from the order because my day wasnt going to well either . get it together and please train your workers on hospitality. read more

I went to this Bojangles one afternoon. me and my dad pulled up to the drive thru and stared to place our large-ish order. My dad not give this woman taking our order and rudeness but she continues to rush him. Mind you we were the only ones in the drive thru and I was reading off my siblings order on my phone. And after placing the third order which was only a fry and drink she goes "WILL THAT COMPLETE YOUR ORDER!" And my dad yells we're going somewhere else and then pulls out. I could understand if we were rude customers but we did not deserve this attitude. If you're so bothered by doing what your job entails find a new job. read more

Came in for a mid-morning bite and coffee refill because Rick likes bird chunks. I'm OK with an occasional chicksand so it was green beans, coffee, and a cajun-biscuit for me. Maybe I'm doing this wrong but we didn't see much mess in food prep, at the counter, around the dining room, or anywhere. The parking lot had some random debris but I think that's more on the customers... I prefer my green beans well steamed and lightly salted and these are close enough, still bean shaped and firm not boiled into mushy flavorless goo so yea! Biscuit were done well and crumby, not wet or doughy or icky; chicken was on the dry side of arid but salvaged by hot sauce and mustard. Ok place for fast chicken. I have been in several Bojangles and most are very much the same. All could use a good cleaning. Not dirty dirt. Just seems like everything has a film. The chicken has always been good. Everyone is friendly. There seems to be a communication problem between the people that take your order and the person that fills the order. They had TERRIBLE customer service. I naturally speak a little quicker, and the man serving me said "Your talking too fast, repeat yourself," and I did, a little slower. Then, when I had asked him what sauces they had for my chicken supremes, he said them so quickly I couldnt hear a word he said. This is the most disgusting bojangles I think I've ever been in. There's food on the floor and people just standing around. No lids out for drinks. One worker walking thru says "I ain't wiping no tables" Like damn. You don't exactly expect a four star experience at bojangles but this one doesn't even get a one for me- that's just the lowest I could choose. 10 minutes later we have food. This is just rediculous. Come on y'all. Seriously? The drive through at this location is always a hot mess..but this is just crazy. My biscuit looked like it had been dropped or someone put a death grip on it, or both. Completely inedible. Too bad my boyfriend picked up breakfast and brought it home otherwise I would have returned it. I tried to take one bite and the chicken filet was also hard as a rock. By far the most unprofessional restaurant I have been to in a long time. Between the robotic cashier with no expression, the drama queen handling the orders, and the fact they ran out of biscuits with a huge line of people, this place needs to be shut down or put under new management. Watched the staff argue at each other as well as talk down to customers. While waiting for our food, spoke with other customers that have told me how long the wait times are and how difficult the staff can be. Wish I would have looked at the rating before coming. I went in for some iced tea. There was a sign next to the register that said that any sized iced tea was $1.00. When the young cashier rang it up, it came to over $2.00. I inquired about the sign. He apologized and tried to figure out how to back it out of the register. He couldn't figure it out. He had to ask for help. When the lady who was helping him left, he was still unable to ring it up. So, he just told me to take it for free. After all of that, I got to the tea dispenser and it was empty. I went back to the register to tell the lad and he took my cup in the back and poured it full with tea. Unfortunately, it tasted like it came from a toilet bowl. Seriously, the tea tasted like it had been in a dispenser that had not been cleaned in a month, or two, or three. I couldn't drink it. Just poured it out and am trying to forget the entire experience. No more Bojangles tea for me. Ever. read more

It's a basic Bojangles. Nothing special. However, my previous experiences with them have not been the best. They constantly mess up orders even though I spell them out word for word. They also have one of the worst drive-thru speakers I've ever encountered. I can barely hear a word out of them, which makes things difficult and awkward. Last time I did drive-thru, my order was taking way longer than usual. Since I was backing up traffic, I knocked on the glass window and asked what the matter was. The employee stared at me confused, then their eyes lit up. "Oh! Here you go Bye!" and hands it to me. The order was still wrong too! Unless you really like Bojangles, this location is a waste of your time. read more

Please note: this is a 5 star review of a fast food restaurant when compared to other fast food restaurants (mostly KFC). I'm not stating that "bojangles has the best food on the planet yippee". I'm stating "bojangles has some of the best fast food". Alright. I came to bojangles thinking "it can't be as good as KFC". As a guy from "the North" (Pennsylvania) KFC is the only fast food fried chicken that I have ever known. Bojangles has forgiven my sins, converted me to the religion of Bojangles, and I will preach this religion wholeheartedly when I'm back north. Ok enough about my epiphany. Bojangles is a fast food joint where you can get cajun style fried chicken. I ordered a chicken dinner with one leg, one thigh, Mac and cheese, coleslaw, biscuit, and a drink. It was great and changed my perception of fast food chicken forever. End of story A+++++.You can read on for more specifics of my meal, or instead you can go to bojangles and eat EVERYTHING just invite me please. Specifics: The restaurant atmosphere - is pretty good, the guy took my order he wasn't the most involved and was joking with his friend in the back. The cashier says random words into the mic which I don't get the point of because most POS systems at fast food places just put your order on a screen. But it made me feel like an individual. By the time I placed my order it was ready to be eaten. Wait time was less than 10 seconds. The meal came on a paper plate which made feel like I was at a family picnic! Major pluses here over KFCs boxes and horrible wait times. The chicken - was fried perfectly to a golden brown. It was crispy on the outside nice and perfectly chickeny on the inside without being soggy, or too dry. The biggest surprise was the Cajun spices which added a little surprise kick to the end of the bite. This spiciness is what makes Bojangles incredible. The inside of KFC chicken has almost no flavor on its own, it is just chicken texture added to the thick breading on the outside. Bojangle chicken has flavor on the inside of the breading that compliments the chicken and it has flavor on the outside with the breading and is far superior to the way KFC makes theirs. The Mac and cheese - I think that Bojangkes makes the superior make and cheese. Bojangles Mac and cheese tastes almost exactly like KFC Mac and cheese and looks like it was made at home. KFC Mac and cheese tastes like itself but it looks like it was made out of plastic and cheese. Bojangles Mac and cheese is less thick which is something I like. The coleslaw - the Cole slaw was just great no other way to describe it. The sweet tea - the sweet tea was good, not quite as sweet as I would like but I really appreciated the way that bojangles tea tastes like it is freshly steeped. It has the taste of actual tea leaves unlike many sweet teas that are just super sugary. The biscuit - the biscuits here are hearty, delicious and perfect. KFC biscuits are flaky and again I thought they were the best but the Bojangles biscuits are a completely different animal. The biscuits are hearty with their own flavor and it makes me want one right now. My mouth is watering. The aftermath I woke up this morning and all I could think of was that I wanted the taste of bojangles in my mouth. I think I'm brainwashed but that is ok because it is delicious. It took real willpower to go somewhere else for lunch. We will see if I can make it through the day without having withdrawal symptoms. We ordered 4 sausage and egg biscuits, and a half gallon of tea. (Ordered through the drive thru). When we got home, the biscuits were fair quality. However, the half gallon of tea was sour. It taste like it was what might have been left in the pitcher all day, the day before, and was just poured into half gallon jugs. I honestly expected better from Bojangles. I know that they are trying to make more money to cover the cost of over paid big shots in the company. They have even started overcharging for their food, just like every other fast food joint. But making fresh tea to put into the half gallon jugs is the simplest, and easiest thing to do. read more

Talk about bad service. How about no service at all. I get an hour for lunch. So I chose the Bojangles on Plaza Dr in Mooresville. The one that is closet to downtown. This was about 1:15 on Thursday 06/06/19. I went to the register to place my order and stood there close to 15 minutes and never got waited on or even acknowledged by the manager. She was on the other end of the counter Distrbuting food to other customers. I am not being a racist when I call out the black female manager because the black lady that was in line behind me was far more vocal about us being ignored by the manager than I was. My mother and my daughter and I dined here a couple of weeks ago during lunch. My chicken tenders were cold!! They were so busy that I decided not to complain and just eat them. I decided to post this because the food is really mediocre at this location. I know two other people that have complained about the food being cold here. So much that he decided to drive out of his way to the River Highway location. Sorry,but that location is more consistent. I will continue to go to that one. read more

to whom it may concern, my family and i have been getting breakfast for the last 10 years from this location and i have never experienced such terrible service as i did today. where do i start... 1) 11:00 am on sunday, hmm... in the south church and bojangles along with tailgating in the carolina's and you are going to tell me you do not have mashed potato, macaroni, and cheese, hell any fixin's. 2) i ordered a sausage and gravy biscuit and i am handed a biscuit with gravy in a container. hold the phone, what the happened to the 2 biscuit container, little effort to cut the biscuit put a sausage on the biscuit and pour some gravy on the biscuits. i ask for the sausage and the cook opened a tray box and tossed the sausage in the box and said, "there you go". really! really! i am the customer. well, i was a customer and i am posting this on your facebook and yelp to be sure all your customers to be aware of bojangles in mooresville, nc. what a shame. read more
