    Chicken sandwich

The chicken sandwich was okay, a bit dry. As the name suggests, I'd stick to the burgers here, which are much better

Great burger spot! The place is small but there is a lot of seating. Service was great, very helpful and efficient. I ordered the single bae burger and my sister ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and we split them and shared the garlic parm fries. The food was amazing! The burger was so flavorful and not too salty or greasy like some smash patties can be. I loved the fresh pickles and onions and the baes sauce as well. The chicken sandwich was super juicy and tender. The chicken was not very spicy. It could have been spicier for me. The garlic parm fries were loaded with so much garlic and Parmesan. They were super flavorful!! Overall, everything was amazing and I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Hoping they can add a location closer to me!

Double burger with everything, protein style on a bed of lettuce

Oh. My. Lord. I have been searching for the perfect burger in Charlotte ever since moving from Arizona and comparing everything to In-N-Out. I did get my double burger protein style on a bed of lettuce. But it did not disappoint, with the cheese and pickles and sauce!!!! Ooooo highly recommend and will be back!

Bae's Burger is a MUST!! The food is out of this world good!!! Dom, Hannah, Savanna and Thaliana are incredibly helpful and created a great dining vibe!!! Don't miss your chance for an amazing burger and experience!!!

Cute counter service burger restaurant in downtown Mooresville. The smash burger was tasty. The fries were well seasoned. The restaurant was packed and is clearly a local favorite. I am giving it three stars because although there was nothing really wrong, I have had other burgers and fries I have enjoyed more. However, judging by the crowds I was clearly in the minority.

This is my go to burger spot in my lovely hometown of Mooresville! They honestly need a bigger restaurant with how delicious and popular this restaurant is. Good quality and service every single time i've visited

4.8 Rating: Baes Burgers definitely understands the smash burger assignment and I now understand all the great reviews. Pleasantly surprised that their reputation lives up to the hype. Intimate inside seated dining space and a couple of bistro style seats outside. Majority take to-go orders. Enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich, the Double baes burger, and the double garlic butter bacon burger(the GBB) with a side of garlic Parmesan fires. Along with fountain drinks they have some local beers on draft and a few cider selections. The food was hot, fresh, tasty, and surprisingly light in my belly. The couple of things for improvement on my first visit were the Garlic Aioli sauce on the GBB burger, it was a bit salty and I would have like more sauce on my chicken sandwich. That's an easy solve with asking for extra sauce next time since chicken breast sandwiches sometimes need a bit more sauce for moisture but definitely a preference not necessity. Go try this gem for yourself next time you're in the Mooresville area.

    THE G.B.B.

Well, where should I start?! The restaurant is super cute! Small and tight during lunch hours. We ordered to go and I think we may have waited about 20mins. The GBB was spot on. DEVOURED. My husband got the triple Bae Burger and my gracious. The flavors of the meat were amazing. And the fries! I'm a potato slut, and those were some damn good fries. So do yourself a favor, and hit this place up. You will NOT regret it!!

    Beer Menu

Simple menu, 50 seats, burgers, fries, and beer. If you're in Downtown Mooresville you're in for a treat. The burgers were smashed with a great crust. I thoroughly enjoyed the BGG with garlic butter, cheddar, bacon, and garlic aioli. The combination gave a great meat and garlic flavor combo and had a little crunch. The garlic parm fries had good flavor and were a nice complement to the burger. Order at the counter and the staff will bring your meal to you in a few minutes. The space is small but there are about 50 seats inside and 3 small tables outside. If you're craving burger and fries without over the top ingredients this is a great option on Main Street.

    Large FRIES

Employees were friendly and food was great! Garlic aioli and ranch were tasty. Will be back for the vegetarian smash burger option. Will be back again.

G.B.B. with fried egg and garlic parm fries
    Patricia G.

I'm visiting from out of town and my family said that Bae's is a must have...and they weren't wrong! I've been to a few smash burger spots in South Florida, where I'm from, so I'm no stranger to them, but Bae's was definitely unique. There are around 9 tables, 2 high tops, a little bar area and outdoor seating. They have a limited menu, which I appreciated as I didnt feel overwhelmed with options. We were warmly greeted at the register by a nice young lady with blonde hair (sorry I didn't get a name!) She was super patient with us while we put in our order. We got a G.B.B. with a single patty, runny egg and garlic parm fries; a double G.B.B with garlic parm fries; a Bae burger, single patty with lettuce and bacon; and finally a grilled cheese. I'll start with the grilled cheese as that was the most disappointing (but I'm not the one who had to eat it!) It was incredibly small and they use the burger buns instead of bread. Pictures are a bit deceiving because it does seem a lot bigger than it actually is. It seems like something you would get with a kids meal; could eat it in 3 bites, easily. As for the burgers, they are the crispiest smash burgers I've ever had, which is great. But because they're so thin and crispy, it's best to get a double if you want a heartier burger. The buns are also pretty small, and I'm not sure if that is to make the burgers look bigger or what. The garlic aioli and bae sauce are fantastic additions. I'd highly recommend getting an egg on your burger as it really elevates it! But the highlight of the meal? The garlic parm fries. Hot, crispy, cheesy, and a light garlic flavor. I couldn't ask for more in a french fry! With two burger combos w/modifications, another burger and a grilled cheese, the total came to around $55. It's not super cheap, but you can taste the quality and overall it was a great and satisfying meal. (There's also a precious little bookstore right next door to visit after!)

Our waitress was friendly and attentive, making the dine-in experience smooth and enjoyable. I ordered a Create Your Own Burger with mayo, bacon, a fried egg, double patty (medium well) on a brioche bun, plus their signature Bad Daddy's Sauce--and it was delicious. Everything was cooked just right, and the flavors came together perfectly. I also got a side of crispy, well-seasoned fries (note: fries are not included with the burger--you'll have to order them separately), and we started off with an appetizer of fried chicken wings. The wings were tasty, though I personally felt $10 was a bit steep for what you get. For drinks, I had the Bad Ass Lime Margarita, and it was strong and really hit the spot. One glass is plenty for most people. I also tried the Strawberry Bad Ass Margarita, which honestly tasted even stronger than the lime version--both were very good. Unfortunately, the downside of our visit came with one of the to-go orders. My friend ordered the same burger they had earlier, but when they got home, they realized it was made incorrectly--it ended up being exactly like my burger instead of what they asked for. They were really disappointed and upset. Hopefully it can be resolved when they call the restaurant. Here are pictures of the latest menu and my food and drinks - everything looked just as good as it tasted (at least for my order).

Due to this one's geographical location, the energy isn't quite as high, but the staff is efficient and friendly and the food is good. I enjoyed my burger very much and the fries were solid. I ate at the bar and the bartender was good. The only negative is the tap beer tasted odd and I felt a little sick later (nothing serious). The first tap beer felt off and I tried another one and didn't realize until after a few sips that it also felt off. I didn't want to be annoying so I just drank it. So ... if you order a burger and fries and bottled beer (if you drink beer), you should have a swell time.

We came upon this place knowing it was in the area, and decided to try it. They allow you to seat yourself which is fine. They did not seem to be very busy at noon on a Saturday, but people were coming and going. All good. Our server came by quickly to ask about drinks and if we wanted any appetizers. We gave drink orders and said no to apps. It was the first time here, so I tend to look over the menu a little longer than usual, but, it was not that busy. The server came by to take our entree orders and we said we just need a few minutes to look over the menu. Within 1 minute, another server came by to take orders order. We said that we just told the server we need a couple minutes to look at the menu. I'm not sure what the rush was, but it made me feel like they must take orders immediately. For a casual place, with a great playlist by the way, they sure made me feel hurried. The first server came by in a good amount of time, so we finally placed our order. Our food came out pretty quickly. Everything looked really good. Nice portion sizes and the food was tasty. We got a summer lovin flatbread and the California panini chicken sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. I wasn't too fond of the aoli. I thought it was a little thick. I think I would have preferred a honey mustard sauce for the fries. Also, the chicken was so thin on the sandwich you could hardly taste it. Sandwich was good but I expected more of a chicken cutlet as opposed to a flattened piece of chicken as you might get at the deli counter. My guy finished first, but I was still eating. The server comes by and asks what we're thinking for dessert. Again, rushed? I was still eating my lunch. We weren't ready to make that decision but now I wanted to finish and go, because, clearly it's the servers favorite table, and must have some attachment to it to be rushing the meal so much. I think the server needs to work on timing. If one in the party is still eating their food, would they really be discussing dessert yet? And to remind all who are reading: it wasn't a busy day yet. Only a few tables were occupied, so I will be docking a star for the service. Overall if not such a rushed experience, I would say: menu good, portions good, comfortable atmosphere. Nice place. Servers need extra training in timing and approach.
