Cars waiting 30 mins for food
    Christina G.

We ordered at the window at 11am, they asked the 2 cars in front of us to pull to the side to wait, then asked us. We sat waiting till 11:27. 3 more cars behind us waiting by that point, too. We ordered 3 biscuits! That's it. 6 cars waiting for 27 minutes to get food at a fast food drive thru! And we got ours first. The cars in front of us still waiting!! Like what on earth are y'all doing in there??? Employees didn't care at all. Didn't apologize for the waits, nothing.

Went for the 1st time today to this location and got an 8 piece family meal with mashed potatoes and sweet tea. You do get a lot of food with this meal and it is very good for the price, but when I got home I was so disappointed. The middle of the rolls were completely RAW. luckily the chicken was cooked but when you opened the biscuits there was nothing but raw dough. I'm not saying a little dense, or anything like that. Its was completely raw dough. See attached picture. The biscuits are our favorite part of the meals. The chicken isnt super flavorful and the mashed potatoes are obviously powdered. But the biscuits were the reason we love bojangles so much. I would suggest checking them before you leave or go to another location. Hopefully this doesnt happen to you.

    Cajun Filet Combo

A solid three stars fits the bill for my first-ever Bojangles experience. I went with the Cajun Filet biscuit combo, because it was a) showcased on the street sign and b) it was the first item on the breakfast menu. What you receive is a thin piece of chicken between a biscuit, served with "botato" rounds and a soft drink. The food was decent. The chicken didn't have as much Cajun spice as I expected. But those potato rounds were really good. Overall, there's much to be improved with store cleanliness, as unbussed tables dominated the restaurant. I would return to try lunch like much of the blue collar crowd was. Definitely cheap and filling eats here.

Y'all. We asked to add cheese to a biscuit. This is what we got. Are you f@%$#& kidding me right now??? C'MON!!!

OK we started off with With the wrong drink she said she couldn't take it back she gave me another one no problem when I got back to my hotel I had the wrong order I called spoke to the same person Crystal that took care of me she took care of it right away she told me to come back get another order, I feel bad because they can't take back the drink or food because of Covid but this lady is incredible and by the way the food is awesome never had a biscuit or chicken taste as good

Yep - they're open for breakfast. At 0530 every day, no less! 0630 on Sundays)

For all my pre-opening farfare of Bojangle's, I confess that I've come less than a 1/2 dozen times. It's true. Only 200 yards door-to-door, it's kinda like living in the upper west-side and never checking out Le Bernardin. Kinda. Anyway - a well-deserved upping of the star-count based on consistently courteous service since day 1. That - and killer country Ham. Oh - and the best biscuits on the planet - and I'm not a biscuit fiend, but these could flip me.

Stopped by during a VIP event on Saturday for a sneak taste of Bojangles. We ordered the Cajun filet biscuit while, one piece breast meal (with mashed potatoes and coleslaw) and a Bo-berry biscuit. The buttery flakey biscuit was topped with a thinly breaded and moderately spicy chicken filet. The breast was juicy inside and crispy on the outside while the sides were both solid. The Bo-berry biscuit was piping hot, coated in icing, and was one of our favorite items At the urging of the operator we also tried the roasted chicken bites. Tender chucks of chicken were coated in tasty seasoning and served in a bowl. They were great and it was good to see a non-fried option on the menu. Finally, for those craving chicken biscuits on Sunday, Bojangles is open 7 days a week (and on top of that breakfast is served all day)!

Had long-awaited the arrival of the Bojangles in Tallahassee. I was envious of the North Carolineans and their ability to eat Bojangles whenever they felt like it. It was like a tease that I was never going to be able to get over, until now. I arrived at Bojangles on the grand opening night and it was packed as I expected. We waited in line for 45 minutes but it was well worth it. My wife's first response to being the chicken biscuit was "this is better than Chick-fil-A!" That only that but they're open on Sundays as well. There are many tasty foods here at the jingles but in my opinion nothing compares to the bo rounds and the Cajun filet biscuit. Do yourself a favor and eat at Bojangles in the near future!

    Worth every dime.

**Review: Solid Steak Dinner at The Edison**…read more I had a pleasant dinner at The Edison recently and walked away satisfied, especially with the food. Service was just okay--nothing terrible, but the appetizers definitely took longer than expected to come out. That said, our server was genuinely good: friendly, knowledgeable, and checked on us at the right moments without being overbearing. The appetizers were worth the wait. Both the fried green tomatoes and the crab appetizer were excellent--fresh, flavorful, and nicely executed. For the main course, the steak was spot-on: tender, well-seasoned, and cooked exactly as ordered. The potatoes that came with it were also really good--creamy and tasty without being heavy. We ended the meal with the bread pudding, and it was one of the best parts of the night. It was done perfectly: warm, moist, and full of rich, comforting flavor that didn't feel overly sweet. All in all, The Edison delivers on the food front. If you're after a reliable steak with some standout starters and a strong dessert, it's a solid choice. Ambiance was good, love the historic building. I'll definitely be back for the steak and bread pudding. Recommended!

The food was well-prepared and flavorful, with a menu that balances classic favorites and creative options. Portions were satisfying, and presentation was thoughtful. The space has a lively yet comfortable vibe, making it a great place for both casual meals and social outings. Service was friendly and attentive, though it slowed a little during peak times. Overall, The Edison is a solid choice for good food, drinks, and ambiance. With slightly faster service during busy hours, it could easily earn a full five stars

It's a place I…read morefrequent on my days off, and last week was my first time dining there since their recent menu flip. That morning I ordered one of my favorites, the lox bagel. I didn't realize that with the new menu changes, ordering a lox bagel meant all assembly required-- by the customer. I received a plastic to-go box with a toasted bagel, a ramekin of cream cheese, a ramekin mixture of capers and onions, and smoked salmon wrapped in a deli sheet. I was puzzled and asked for clarification from a sales associate, as the order was not to-go. I want to stress the fact that there was no negligence whatsoever on the part of the employee-- she's great and always makes my day when I see she's working. However, I find it to be quite a bizarre policy to require a guest to construct their own sandwich. Part of the reason people dine out is to be cared for and have a stress-free morning. It was also a waste of plastic cutlery, as I used a single knife to spread cream cheese and tossed the unneeded fork and spoon. Now while I am proud of my sandwich build and the flavor was good, I was left with fingers that smelled like salmon despite washing my hands multiple times. Not exactly what I was hoping for at 10 am on my day off from working in a restaurant. I understand the fine details of menu flips can be a bit clumsy at first, but I hope management receives this feedback and reconsiders this self-assembly method. I love this place and the atmosphere and staff. The lox bagel experience just didn't hit the mark for me.

Full outside patio, huge inside bar, decor that just screams class, and flavors that will have your taste buds slapping your brain to wake up! Our service was outstanding.. always on the spot and always a very kind soul. The food was expertly prepared and the flavors were pure artistry! From the bread... ohhhh the bread (moth watering in memory), to the main course (a delectable risotto)... to the works of art they call desert! Everything was perfect! The carrot cake was divine! The chocolate tree was a tiramisu and everything was edible... down to the rocks! The ball was a chocolate sphere with mouse inside that they melt open with hot chocolate... pure decadence! However, there were 3 chairs at the lower part of the bar inside so we took those. Service was very good and a manager did make a point to check on us. Food ordered was the Bang Bang Salmon bites - pretty good but very light on the sauce, Cranberry Blueberry salad with Salmon bites added - very tasty and large portion, Tofu Stir Fry which was very good (according to my friend) . The house red wine was very good at an average price. However, I ordered a Knob Creek Manhattan which was tremendously over priced! $18 + plus an upcharge for Knob Creek so it was $22 if I remember correctly. I've seen this in a few Tallahassee restaurants and can't understand how these prices are justifiable, hence the 3 star rating. Happy hour drink prices are only available Mon through Thurs. Recommend a reservation on busy weekend nights!

I managed to secure a nice table with not even a 25 minute wait thanks to a very courteous and professional manager (thank you, Steve!). At the table, everything was clean, shiny and the server was prompt despite a very busy morning. The crowd, obviously, seemed to be mostly college students and parents. I'm pretty sure during the week it's the Capitol Hill crowd. The food was tasty and really hit the spot. Coffees fresh brewed all around, of course. We started with the Breakfast Poutine for appetizer which was hearty and all enjoyed. For entrees, two Southern Benedict, the Waffle Flight, scrambled eggs and bacon. All the food was cooked to order, presented nicely and the taste exceeded expectations. Also, kudos to our Server, Jose. We'll likely visit again and enjoyed the meal. We drove to Tallahassee that day, but unfortunately got caught in heavy traffic due to President Trump speaking in Sumter County near The Villages. As Soon as we realized we would not make our reservation, we called the restaurant to explain the unavoidable circumstances and asked if there was any way to move our reservation to another time that day. Initially, we were told no, so we canceled the reservation. Shortly afterwards, the restaurant called back and informed us we would be charged a cancellation fee of $ 150 - $ 25.00 per person. I completely understand having a cancellation policy, however, charging $ 25 per person for a lunch reservation during unavoidable traffic circumstances felt excessive and unreasonable, especially after we proactively called ahead. What was even more disappointing was the complete lack of flexibility or compassion during an important family milestone. I explained repeatedly that we were desperately trying not to miss our son's graduation celebration and were even worried about missing the ceremony itself because we were stuck in traffic. I asked about every possible alternative- a later dinner reservation, appetizers only, or even moving reservation to another day. Ever request was denied except for a 4 pm slot, which still was not realistic given the traffic situation. What upset me the most was not just the fee itself, but the unwillingness to work with us. A more customer focused approach could have been allowing the $ 150 to be applied toward a future visit. Because of this experience, my family will NEVER dine at Hayward House, and I would NOT recommend it to other FSU families celebrating special occasions.
