She was very friendly and helpful in highlighting some of the better dishes. So we ordered the gator appetizer which was lightly breaded and tasted very fresh, served with a side of remoulade dipping sauce. Then we had a bowl of seafood gumbo and the red beans and rice with have a hot link. Both dishes were very flavorful and I would definitely recommend them. The only negative is that they were both a little on the salty side for our liking. Oh and my wife had hoped for more okra in the gumbo. But yes I would definitely recommend this place and it was great to see a diverse crown from young kids to the elderly in what looked like a college bar environment.

The baked beans have a unique and addictive taste. The corn on the cob is fried and was delicious. The mac 'n cheese was tasty. The only side that was disappointing were the greens.
