Sticky, gooey, smelly and open 24 hours. Waffle House is everywhere! No, for real, it's in my hair, on my jeans, both elbows and somehow it made it all over the back of my jacket! I could smell the WH experience all they way home. Screw iHop and Denny's I want a WH in Los Angeles. Sometimes you need a waffle and some cheese grits at 3 am! For the money you just can't beat it. One fluffy waffle, two eggs, grits, toast, coffee and two bacon or susage for less than $5! Now if only they would add fried chicken to the menu...........oh wait we have Rosco's already.

Waffle house, oh Waffle house, if only there wasn't a such thing as diabetes. haha. This waffle house will always hold a special place in my heart, nothing like getting a table at 3am after a good night of partying with co-workers or showing up at noon ready to have breakfast after a long Saturday night. This particular Waffle house is a little sticky, but nothing like a beautiful and delicious waffle, always cooked to perfection.

Breakfast with a front-row seat of the show for under 10 bucks. Where else?

Five stars for the quintessential diner experience. Booths to accommodate ectomorphs from yesteryear, six-seater bar overlooking the griddle/kitchen show. Jukebox always functional. Waffle House is found across the South and in my experience, all offer a similar experience "right outta Americana". For me - enjoying the experience means sitting at the bar - preferably the right-most swivel. This seat affords exceptional vistas overlooking the dishwasher station, panoramic displays down the kitchen galley, and when 180 degrees from the action - the lively intersection of Tennessee and Ocala. Customer service is taken seriously here. Whether at a slow-point or in the veritable weeds, servers and cooks alike are apt to greet you as you come in. The men's room has always been clean and well lit, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant (front of the house and visible back of the house) is noticeable.

R&R at Hotel Indigo in Tallahassee, FL…read more Stayed a couple nights at Hotel Indigo on a work trip and naturally ended up at R&R more than once because: location, location, location. Easy access plus a bar meant repeat visits. Let's start with the GOODS the drinks! I stopped in to the bar multiple times and the cocktails are where they shined for me. Ryan the bartender - WOW next level. Superb! Knows his stuff, and made every drink a hit for me. My top pick? The Juju, hands down my favorite. But I also got a sneak peek of a new drink coming to their seasonal menu called the Lily Pad, and OMG mmmmmm. So good. Bright, refreshing, well-balanced. Totally check out my photos for that one. Now... about breakfast. It's a No for me. Enough. I had the Nashville Honey Chicken Biscuits and they are a FAIL, a No. Dry, sad, biscuits with fried frozen chicken nugget in it and not worth $16. It's an embarrassment to the establishment. The Cortado, also a miss!... but it was coffee and I needed to get going to work. R&R, please rethink breakfast: 100% did not meet the price point. Skip breakfast or walk across the street, there's a bagel shop. The hotel indigo is really cute and I'll probably write a review about that on a separate, the place is overall cute, but there's very limited food places around the hotel. So in conclusion, I will give you an extra star for the convenience and the bar. After my experience for breakfast, I did not care to come here for food at all anymore. Expensive cheap food. Just because they're helped by a great bar and a beautiful hotel and a great location..

Naturally, I was excited to check it out -- both for the atmosphere and the connection to such a well-respected local figure. We visited on a summer evening and found the place quiet at first, but it started to liven up around 9 p.m., especially in the bar area, drawing a pretty young and energetic crowd. The vibe is casual and welcoming, though parking can be a bit of a challenge -- even on a slower night, it was tough to find a spot nearby, and most options require payment, so come prepared. Our server mentioned it was their first week, but they still did a great job. Service was attentive without being overbearing. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially for a trendy College Town location. We ordered the pretzel rolls, Caesar salads, and a few pours of their signature beer, Outlaw, which was just $5 and very good. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. Our total came to $62 for two full meals, four beers, and a tip -- not bad at all, especially given the quality and portion sizes. While the restaurant does include some Bobby Bowden memorabilia, I expected a bit more of a nostalgic or themed atmosphere considering the namesake. A few more personal touches or FSU throwbacks would really round out the space and elevate the experience for fans and newcomers alike. Overall, Bowden's is a great spot for a casual night out -- whether you're grabbing a bite before the bar crowd rolls in or sticking around for drinks in the heart of College Town. I'd definitely go back.

I had recently heard that this place is a Michelin notable and now I know why. Don't be fooled by the nondescript, gray exterior, the inside is adorable and cozy. Valet is complementary which is a nice touch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is incredibly quick from the time you order to when you receive your meal. Food was absolutely delicious. Hubby and I ordered a few appetizers as well as the chefs tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The appetizers we chose were the charred octopus and the fire roasted oysters. Both were wonderful but the octopus was a standout. For the tasting menu, it changes daily and is 4 courses with a dessert course to round out the meal. Ours happened to include: Sausage w olive tapenade, Filet w tomato and veggie chow chow (so tasty), Duck tostada w avocado crema, Elk filet w hasselback potatoes and asparagus (show stopper), and Orange rice pudding w pistachio cookie crumble which was such a nice, light way to end the meal. One thing to note: they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill which is split between all front of house and back of house staff. Anything you leave above this will go directly to your waiter. There is a card they leave when they drop off the bill that explains this more eloquently than I am but I found it to be unique that they openly discuss it instead of adding it to the bill with no notice or explanation.

Disappointed and Concerned - Avoid Township…read more I visited Township near closing time with my wife, daughter, and her boyfriend. We ordered drinks around 1:50 AM and were peacefully enjoying them when, at 2:00 AM, a security guard aggressively demanded that I leave--even though I clearly explained I was waiting for my wife. Despite my calm explanation, he became confrontational and even violent. I immediately brought this to the attention of Matt, the manager, but to my surprise, he said nothing to the security guard and took no action whatsoever. We were left feeling unsafe and disrespected in what should have been a simple and enjoyable night out. This situation was completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of Township. There are far better places in town that prioritize the safety and dignity of their guests.
